Tokyo – Room Tour (The Gate Hotel, Asakusa)

We spent 3 days in Tokyo during our  last visit to Japan and if you’ve not   caught up on those videos yet that should  probably be your next Port of Call after   this. This video is a bit of a focus  on our accommodation in Asakusa – The

Gate Hotel. Just a 1 minute walk from ginsa  station and situated right next door to the   shinoji temple the gate offers fantastic  service and an ideal base of operations. Although the rooms are fairly standard the  real draw for the hotel is its rooftop bar

Which provides incredible panoramic views  of the entire district. If the bar isn’t   your thing there’s always the vending machines  located on every floor Japan still very much   operates as a cash based system so nightly  trip to the vending machine seemed like

A good way of ridding ourselves of some  of the change we accumulated we have our pajamas and our disinfection liquid a bath  oh is it it’s hiding hidden bath few of sorts we last stayed at the gate  hotel some 5 years ago and it would seem in

The intervening years a tower block has been  constructed which now obscures the view of the   Sky Tree somewhat just goes to show you how  quickly the Tokyo Skyline can change although   the view was a slight disappointment we couldn’t  really F the location the incredible staff and the

Amazing food that’s before we even mention the  excellent beef cutlet restaurant located right   next door you can find more info on that  on our main Tokyo video quality range of toiletry oh both [Music] sorts for
