Business Class HongKong Airline A330！Kansai Airport Walking Tour！DUTY FREE Store Shopping！KIX Lounge
Welcome back! It’s my last day in Kyoto and I’m checking out some cool places in the downtown area. I walked along the trail and reached a temple. Rokkakudo is a temple in the heart of Kyoto. It has a hexagonal main hall, which gives it the name “Rixagon Hall”.
It is also known as the birthplace of ikebana, the art of flower arrangement, which was started by Prince Shotoku. Many people visit Rokkakudo as a romantic spot, because there is a willow tree that is said to grant good luck in love. This tree is called the “Marriage Willow”.
I went to Kyoto Station to get on the train to Kansai Airport. It was a special train with HELLO KITTY decorations. It looked so adorable. You can find more information about the HELLO KITTY HARUKA schedule and one-way ticket price at the link below the video.
I got a bento box from Kyoto Station. Bento is a special kind of Japanese food. It has different kinds of dishes in one box. The food tasted good but it was cold. I wish it was warm. We munched on our snacks in the car and admired the view outside the window.
It was a relaxing way to spend some time before our flight. Before we knew it, we reached Kansai Airport Station. Kansai Airport is bustling with travelers and it’s super crowded. I made my way to the departure hall after getting through the transit building and did my check-in.
The place was packed with people flying out of the country. I’d say you need at least 3 hours to get everything done if you’re leaving from Kansai Airport. But I was lucky enough to use FAST LANE, so I got out of there pretty fast.
The duty-free shops at Kansai Airport are awesome. They’re bigger, have more stuff and a lot of cool things to buy. There are also lots of places to sit and chill, and some nice cafes and restaurants with yummy food. It was fun to see all the tourists shopping and looking for souvenirs.
You can find more information about the price and varities of souvenirs, snacks and food at the link below the video. But after a while, I got tired and hungry. So I decided to head to the Kansai Airport VIP lounge and relax and eat something.
I had a chance to visit KIX NORTH LOUNGE, which is near gate 18. On the way there, I saw a lot of shops selling snacks and souvenirs. KIX NORTH LOUNGE is not for PROPRITY PASS or credit card members.
I was flying business class this time and I used my ticket coupons to get into the lounge. It was my first time at KIX NORTH LOUNGE. Let’s check out what they have to offer. They have different types of seats, some are single and some are multiple.
They face the window where you can see the planes. The view is amazing. I decided to grab some snacks first. They have coffee, tea, juice, and alcoholic drinks like beer and liquor. For cold snacks, they have cheese, ham, sausages, peas, salads, and more. They go well with drinks.
They also have sandwiches, bread, fried rice, siomai, burgers, sushi and small cakes. And of course, instant noodles! They have a fruit platter for the health-conscious. I love hazelnuts and almonds. They are so yummy. I enjoyed my coffee and cake while relaxing. Time flew by so fast.It was time to board my flight.
I’m heading back to the gate now, it’s time to get on the plane. I flew economy on the way there, but I splurged on business class for the way back. I’ve never flown business before and I’m excited to see how it compares to economy.
If you want to see how my economy flight was, check out the video below! Wow, business class is so different. There are less seats, more room, and no feeling of being cramped. They gave me a towel bag in business class. There’s a screen in front of me, and some buttons on the side.
Time for dinner again.I’ll start with some juice. They had two choices of food that day. I went for the black pepper steak and mashed potatoes. The meal also came with some snacks, a small cake, chocolate and fruit.
The flight from Osaka to Hong Kong was only about 3 and a half hours, and we got back in no time. I had such a blast on this trip to Kyoto, and I can’t wait to go somewhere else next time!
