Oodo Port 2 Oodo, Ryugatake Town, Kamiamakusa City Description of Oodo Port. If you cross all of Amakusa’s five bridges, you can go to Kami Island, the second largest island in Amakusa. This time’s location is Oodo Port, located in the southern part of Kami Island.

This is the second time I have introduced this port, as I have previously introduced it as a port where fishing enthusiasts gather. It is located in the Oodo district of Ryugatake Town, Kamiamakusa City, on the Yatsushiro Sea (Shiranui Sea) side.

There is also a ferry terminal here that connects Oodo Port and Goshonoura Island, and the port plays an important role in Amakusa tourism. There are many rafts for cultivating the branded sea bream “Miyabi Sea Bream” around Goshonoura Island.

This is a spot where I have many memories of frequent trips to fish for sea bream, aiming for the wild sea bream that gather on these rafts. Today I encountered the beautiful Oodo Port in the evening for the first time in a while, so I decided to take a video of it.
