Kyoto Sanjo Shopping Street Walking Tour in Japan | Kyoto Travel Guide

Hello everyone. This time we will be walking around Kyoto again. This time we will be walking through the Kyoto Sanjokai Shopping Street. This is the west side of the shopping street. I would like to proceed east from here. Here is the walking route for this time.

This time, I’m going to walk through the shopping district to Karasuma Street. The shopping street is quiet in the morning. Many stores are yet to open. This shopping street is one of the longest arcade streets in Kyoto. It stretches from Senbon Street in the west to Horikawa Street in the east.

From this point onwards, the road becomes a little narrower. This is Sanjo Omiya Park. Turn right here and proceed until you reach Omiya Station. We have arrived at the end of the shopping street. This is Horikawa Street. Now let’s continue down Sanjo Street.

If you continue along Sanjo Street, you will arrive at Teramachi Kyogoku Shopping Street and Sanjo Ohashi Bridge. If you go further, you will see the approach to Heian Shrine and Nanzenji Temple. Karasuma Street is approaching. This walk is almost over.

I have also taken a walk along Sanjo Street before, so please take a look if you are interested. Thank you for watching until the end. Have a nice trip everyone.

This time, we will walk through Kyoto Sanjo Shopping Street. This shopping street exudes a nostalgic atmosphere and is one of the long arcade streets in Kyoto. Please enjoy strolling through Kyoto’s shopping streets.
