I haven’t made any travel plans yet, so I’m going to enjoy my trip while looking for things locally. We safely arrived in Ibaraki Prefecture and were almost there to reach our destination SA. It’s a little cold inside the car, so I turn on the FF heater.

I replaced it with a partition curtain from H&G FACTORY. The lining has an aluminum sheet, so it has excellent cold protection and insulation. I would like to head to a liquor store in search of today’s sake. We’re almost here. I bought a sake called “Watafune” at a sake shop. There was fried chicken nearby, so I bought some as a side dish for dinner. I safely bought sake and fried chicken and headed out.

As for the sake, I bought some Ibaraki sake that the shop owner told me about. It seems like autumn sake has sold out at the moment, so there aren’t many available. I will now head to Hitachinaka Onsen Kirari Bettei. It says left around here, but where should I turn?

I used it a little earlier, but I will enjoy the “Watarifune” with cold sake. This is Japanese sake from Ibaraki Prefecture. Junmai Ginjo Funashibori Made with 100% “Watarifune” (short culm) sake rice from Ibaraki Prefecture. Kanpai! I’ll enjoy having this. A little carbonated? Slight foaming?

Delicious. It’s light and a little sweet, but not too sweet. It is a type of sake that does not leave an aftertaste (unique to Japanese sake). This sake-steamed clam goes really well with Japanese sake. Yeah. It’s so delicious! Lately, I haven’t been drinking much sake at home and have only been drinking highballs.
