Hello, this is Tabi-dora. Thank you for always watching (^^) This time, it’s finally time to completely conquer the Kinki Roadside Station Stamp Rally ! We will visit 3 new roadside stations in Fukui and 3 roadside stations in Kyoto in 2 days.

It looks like we will be able to completely conquer the Kinki Roadside Station Stamp Rally before the roadside station scheduled to open in Nara at the end of March is completed! Please come along if you’d like ♪ I’m about to enter the Kyoto Minami Interchange on the Meishin Expressway.

On the first day, we will visit three roadside stations in Fukui Prefecture using this route.

I had given up on visiting the roadside stations in Fukui and northern Kyoto because I was afraid of frozen roads and snow in February, but I heard from yesterday’s weather forecast that this weekend will be a sunny spring day.

After checking the road information and thinking, “I can go!”, I booked a hotel just after 11pm last night and woke up at 5am to set off. I can’t stop being excited when I think that I can completely conquer it in just 2 days ! I’m heading towards Nagoya. Enter Shiga Prefecture.

Although the weather looks like rain, let’s do our best today. Let’s Go! Omifuji can be seen right in front of you. The official name is Mt. Mikami. It is said to be called Omi Fuji because of its beautiful appearance, which is 432 meters high and has a gentle ridgeline. It enters Yasu City.

A hot air balloon is flying ahead! In Shiga Prefecture, there is a hot air balloon ride experience where you can ride a hot air balloon and see Lake Biwa from above. Looks like fun! I’d like to ride it someday! We will take a break at Taga SA. Arrived.

There is a STARBUCKS at Taga service area. good morning! Mr. 1 has his favorite red konnyaku. Would you like to buy it? It’s time for breakfast. Today, I brought a lunch box, which is rare. I just made rice balls.

The ingredients for the rice ball are 2 pickled plums, 1 salmon, and 1 rock nori. Now, what will you win? i’ll take this. I’ll take this. It was seaweed. I am plum. delicious. Result Mr.1 is seaweed and plum. Ms.2 was plum and salmon. Let’s go! Return to the main line.

Head towards Hokuriku Expressway. What a spectacular road! Enter Fukui prefecture. Head towards Tsuruga/Fukui on the Hokuriku Expressway. The Fukui Ohno exit is now in sight. This is a video of when I got off here and went to see the sea of clouds at Ono Castle. Please also watch this video if you like.

Enter Ishikawa Prefecture. Kaga I’m going down in the mountains. Kaga tollgate. It costs 3,730 yen and I will head to Awara, Tojinbo, and Hashibu. At the roadside station, turn left. National Route 305. There is a guide to the roadside station Rennyo no Sato Awara. Return to Fukui prefecture.

To reach Roadside Station Rennyo no Sato Awara, turn left at the next intersection and walk 100m. On the right is the Rennyo Shonin Memorial Hall. Also, the fact that we reached Route 305 meant that we could have arrived by driving straight. Roadside station Rennyo no Sato Awara is on the left.

This is the entrance. Here we are. This roadside station opened in April 2023. It is a modern and stylish Japanese-style building. The Hokuriku Shinkansen will open between Fukui and Tsuruga on March 16th! Speaking of Fukui, it is all about dinosaur goods. The spacious store is lined with specialty products.

The rice fortune slip is so cute. Let’s buy some to ward off evil spirits and go home. KAREN NO IRODORI you can enjoy original creative cuisine with the theme of “local production for local consumption.” They have many kinds of dessert. There is a Cairyu stamp rally (ending on March 15th) When I

Hear the word stamp, I can’t help but stamp it. I got a Kairyu stamp. There are also many vending machines. The roadside station stamp is here. This is a roadside station that also has bicycle rentals and shower rooms.

There are both the ocean and mountains in this area, so you can enjoy a variety of activities. It’s dark and blurry. I counted Nara’s new station in the total, so I’ll add one back. Only 5 stations left! Stroll around the area. There is a park in front of the roadside station.

There is play equipment and a nice view, so it’s a good place to play for a while. I couldn’t go in because it was still under construction. There seems to be a cycling course that runs along Lake Kitagata. Rennyo Shonin Memorial Hall is a 30-second walk away.

Honganji Yoshizaki Betsuin is next to the roadside station parking lot. I’m also interested in the Rennyo Shonin Memorial Hall, but Kashima Forest also seems like a nice place, so I’m going to check it out.I’ll be in Ishikawa Prefecture again.

Even though Kashima Forest was on the left, I thought it was another intersection and went straight ahead. I made a U-turn and came back. There is a parking lot on the right. The cherry blossoms must be beautiful in spring.

Kashima Shrine is undergoing repair work until February 2020. When visiting the shrine, please speak to the staff and be careful where you step. It is said that the forest of Kashima is home to a land-dwelling crab called the Akate crab.

They hibernate from late October to May, so we were unable to see them at this time of year. Since it is a valuable creature, it is prohibited to collect it.

This forest is said to have plants that don’t like light growing on the ground because they block out the sun’s rays, in that order: japonica, japonica, and japonica. Kashima Shrine came into view. We are currently undergoing renovations, so we will be visiting from a distance.

We pray for the earliest possible recovery of the areas affected by the Noto Peninsula earthquake. It was the forest of Kashima where the nature is beautiful. thank you very much! There’s still snow here. Enter Fukui prefecture. Lake Kitagata can be seen on the right hand side of

Prefectural Route 29 . I’m glad the weather has improved! It’s a great day to drive on Prefectural Route 9 with refreshing blue skies. The mountains are beautiful. I can see the Shinkansen tracks. What is the name of mountain is that in the background? National Route 8 Kuzuryu River

The sky, the mountains, the river, everything is beautiful! Enter Fukui City. Pass under the elevated Shinkansen. What a nice straight road! When you think of Sabae City, you think of glasses. Enter Echizen City. You can see Echizen Takefu Station on the Hokuriku Shinkansen.

Turn left at the next intersection and walk 0.5km to Echizen Takefu Roadside Station. In front is Echizen Takefu Station on the Hokuriku Shinkansen. It’s the best location! This roadside station is right next to the arrival Shinkansen station. It’s a brand new station. The rotary is also spacious.

This is a roadside station directly connected to the station. The departure bell is ringing. Will the Shinkansen depart? Move to a place where you can see the Shinkansen! Can you see the Shinkansen from here? I can see the Shinkansen! It’s a bit far. Let’s zoom! It’s gotten a little bigger.

I think you can zoom in a little more. That is the Shinkansen Hokuriku Shinkansen. It looks cool even from a distance! I’m lucky to have seen the test drive. Take care. Now let’s go to the roadside station. This is a roadside station that opened in March 2023. It looks delicious.

There are also lots of local sakes. There is also a stylish stamp book. The calligraphy art is so cute. This is Tomitsu Kintoki Imo Kintsuba, which my daughter highly praised. Fresh seafood is lined up. There is a snow crab with a tag. Looks delicious. Mr. 1 is looking for a souvenir.

What should I buy for Chibi-dora? Echizen Takefu limited edition Shinkansen goods that I received for purchases of ¥1000 or more this weekend only♪ I’m getting hungry, so let’s eat lunch. What should I do? Speaking of Fukui Prefecture, it’s the Echizen Soba and Sauce Katsudon set. came.

Echizen soba and sauce cutlet bowl set ¥1000 The cutlet soaked in sauce looks delicious. Echizen soba is heaped with green onions, grated daikon radish, bonito flakes, and tempura. First up is the sauce cutlet. It’s crispy and looks delicious♪ It’s delicious. How about some soba noodles?

These soba noodles are directly managed by Takefu Seimen, which was founded in 1923. It’s thicker than regular soba. It is made from freshly ground stone-ground buckwheat flour from Fukui Prefecture, so it’s fragrant, chewy, and delicious. I am full.

It would be nice to sit at the counter and enjoy your meal while looking outside. The crab claw crane game is typical of Echizen. Is the note next to it a bill? There is also a restaurant on the second floor. There seems to be an event hall as well.

In the middle of the stairs you will find the Hokuriku Shinkansen timetable and fare list. There is also a toilet on the second floor. This is a restaurant with an extensive menu. Apparently they also have B-class gourmet Bolga rice from Echizen City. The multipurpose room is a great spot to watch the Shinkansen.

I waited for the Shinkansen to come again, but it never came. There is a space where you can wear a hat, take a photo, or write a message on a sticker. There were many comments and messages of support looking forward to the opening.

I also wrote a message of support for the travel drama. I thought about where to put it and put it on. If you ever come here, please look for Travel Draseal (^^) This is a rest area. It’s spacious inside. It’s a table that looks like it could be used for BBQ.

This is a welcome board made using Echizen washi paper. It’s so cute (^^) I can feel how much they are looking forward to the opening of the Hokuriku Shinkansen. 28 days left until the opening of Echizen Takefu Station on the Hokuriku Shinkansen. There are many icons representing Fukui.

I almost forgot to put a stamp on it. The texture is somewhere between soft serve ice cream and gelato. It has a refreshing and simple taste. thank you very much! Next, we will head to the roadside station Wakasa Mihama Hamabiyori. Roadside station Kono can be seen on the right hand side of

National Route 8 . This is a video from when I went to Kono Roadside Station before. Please take a look here if you like (^^) The sea is beautiful! Enter Tsuruga City. The light shining through the clouds is fantastic! I can’t stop driving because I can see scenery like this ♪

I’m heading towards Otsu/Nagahama. Head towards Maizuru/Obama on National Route 27. Head towards Obama on National Route 27 . Roadside Station Wakasa Mihama Hamabiyori is 1 km away. The roadside station Wakasa Mihama Hamabiyori is on the right. Arrived. It is a modern Japanese-style building similar to the roadside station Rennyo no Sato Awara.

You can feel the warmth of the wood. Let’s buy this for Chibi Dora too! There is a deck on the second floor. You can relax here on a nice day. Let’s go to the rooftop terrace. It’s spacious. JR Mihama Station.

It’s nice to watch the trains coming from here and look at Wakasa Bay in the distance ♪ There seem to be other facilities as well. This is a kids space. This is an information plaza. There is a counter with a stylish light. The light shining through the gaps in the lattice is soft.

Here you can gather information about roads and the area while relaxing. I found a Kairyu stamp. I got my second stamp. This is the favorite stamp. The stamp is located at the roadside station building. Completely conquering the roadside stations in Fukui Prefecture. thank you very much!

That’s all for today’s roadside station tour, but there’s one last place I’d like to visit, so I’d like to head there. The destination is Kehi no Matsubara. Return to Tsuruga City on National Route 27. The sunset and the sea are beautiful. Enter Tsuruga City. Get off National Route 27.

The mountain views are amazing! The navigation system said to turn left here, but there is a sign saying to turn right at Kehi no Matsubara. Tabi-dora follows the navigation system and runs smoothly.

Is it okay because the navigation is driving on a narrow road? I thought so, but I was relieved because the car in front of me was also traveling on the same route. Turn left on Prefectural Route 33 and head towards Kehi no Matsubara. It is an amazing pine forest.

The parking lot is in front. Once you pass through the pine forest, Tsuruga Bay will be right in front of you. We have arrived. Kehi no Matsubara

The Kehi no Matsubara, located in the innermost part of Tsuruga Bay, is a scenic spot of white sand and green pine trees, and is considered one of Japan’s three major pine groves, and has been designated as a national scenic spot.

Kehi no Matsubara is 1km long and 340,000km2 wide and is home to approximately 17,000 red and black pines. The average age of a pine tree is about 200 years. I feel the history. The romantic view of Tsuruga Bay from the bench.

Kehi no Matsubara has been selected as one of Japan’s 100 best white sand and green pine trees and 100 best walks. The fact that you can see the ocean surrounded by mountains is a unique sight because it is located in the innermost part of Tsuruga Bay. thank you very much!

This concludes today’s schedule. Before checking into the hotel, we will discuss dinner options. Do you want to eat at a restaurant or buy something at a supermarket and eat at a hotel? After searching on Google and wandering around, I ended up shopping at Max Value. After shopping, I headed to the hotel.

You will see the hotel on your right. There are many cars parked in the parking lot. We have arrived. Check-in This hotel has a “Night Night Curry Service” where each person can eat a bowl of curry and rice for free, so I’d like to go there right away!

There is a night cry curry in the restaurant on the 1st floor. *Please check the set time as it looks delicious. This is a curry with a nostalgic taste. It will soothe your tired body from traveling. This is a truly appreciated service. thank you! It was delicious! Now let’s start the second party.

Even though I knew there was curry, I ended up buying a lot of rice. We also enjoyed the sake we purchased at the roadside station Wakasa Mihama Hamabiyori ♪ We are grateful that the first day ended successfully. And thank you for driving Mr.1! Cheers! Delicious! This sake is also delicious!

This is Hikonyan Kintsuba that I bought at Taga SA. Sweet things soothe your body. This is the Okamoto and Zenshichi cheese flavored waka that I bought at the roadside station Wakasa Mihama Hamabiyori. I’ll enjoy having this!

Although they are heavy donuts, they are moist and not too sweet, so you can eat them after a meal! This marks the end of Day 1 of my journey to completely conquer the Kinki Roadside Station Stamp Rally. Thank you for watching till the end! Next time is finally the final episode!

Please come and see us next time if you like. Bye-bye
