Welcome to North Goa’s best kept secret Mandrem beach after spending the last week in the party area of Anjuna we were really seeking some peace and relaxation we settled for Mandrem but with very little information online we weren’t quite sure what to expect but now it’s time to let the secret out it’s

Bridge which leads to the beach which is very unusual actually this is one of Because We snuck into a snazzy Resort and there go like room number like beach beach we’re going Beach but yeah what’s really interesting about this place is

There’s a river that flows right next to the Sea and that kind of separates this the beach from like the resorts and stuff so you to walk over like a big bridge to get across it and it’s pretty cool this huge river that just flows

Straight into the sea god this place is actually massive it’s huge this beach probably one of the biggest ones we’ve seen in a long time massive massive stretch of white sand doesn’t feel like India though does it cuz it’s so quiet

And peaceful some beds over there and some beds over there but like there’s actual part of the beach where you could just sit down and no one would be around you you don’t find that in many other places in the world either anymore especially if it’s a nice Beach it’s always built up

On what ice cream do you have there what ones are there cups cones you have them you have that I don’t want One S pleas thank you it’s yellow in the inside it’s like condensed milk ice cream maybe oh messy nice yeah that’s good like a magnum you just devoured it already

Thank you D can’t beat an ice cream at the beach can you you can’t you can’t you can’t beat an ice cream at the beach where’s mine so as we’re walking along the main sunbed area it’s actually a little bit busier than I expected there

Is quite a lot of cafes and restaurants but it’s got a good atmosphere then got a bit of a quiet area if you want to just sit and chill by yourself and then when you get on to the main part of the beach oh

God then you can get into some atmosphere with drinks and music and people around so no thank you thanks we might come back thank you hang out hang out cool nice food cheers bro thank you this literally looks like you know when you see in like a holiday

Holiday brochure or online Goa and then you look here Straight Ahead that is what Goa looks like beautiful isn’t it yeah it really is beautiful I can’t wait to get in the water so we picked a sun lounger all you have to do is buy a

Drink and then you can go on the sun loues free so that’s always good for us and the guys moved it out of the way cuz they didn’t want it to be busy and then give us an umbrella and like stamped it in the sand for us so it’s very helpful

I’d say now we’re in the shade than he’s even brought us a table look at that thank you sir yeah yeah no problem thank you you want tohom show thank you br very friendly guy wasn’t he first class service there

We go guys now let’s see what the prices of the drink for it’s normal they’re literally normal yeah we’re absolute mad ones at the moment we’ve got a lemon and soda and a coffee no if anyone who doesn’t know we kind of did like we’re

Doing like dry half January dry half January half February so it’s about to finish in a couple of days but it’s been really easy and to be honest we both feel great for it don’t we we do let say oh it’s warm oh it’s warm it’s so [Music] warm see is so so warm but it’s one of those ones that’s really fun to play in because I swear down we’re in a rip time like the waves are huge we’re getting dragged down one side the beach my gas is in his element just playing the way

Refreshing change here we could finally switch off immerse ourselves in our books and experience a rare moment of complete peace a much needed rest bite after a month filled with hustle and bustle of course it wasn’t long until we started to get hungry

Wooo all right so the plan is now to go into one of the most popular restaurants or cafes around here called called Art Junior which is like we’ve been there a few times it’s very very nice comes very highly recommended to us this place has

A super hippie Vibe with its boho Decor pet dogs tasty pastries and its beautiful clothing on sale it also holds loads of events so it’s more of a community Hub Than A Cafe in an AR to avoid fresh fruit and vegetables but here there like tons of

Salads and like loads of healthy stuff we are gag Bor so yeah it’s got a good it’s got a good menu of fresh food nothing beats getting like literally a fresh fruit smoothie after having no fruit for 3 weeks up North so this is

Like a mango magic or something like that it’s just got loads of fruits in did cost a little bit though cost like 240 I think so that is quite a lot of money but yeah well worth it right delicious briek salad ready to demolish

What they’ve got here is like massive portions they actually huge to the point I feel physically like un well afterwards I’ve eaten so much like a rabbit I’m just desperate to lri so yeah really nice I know it’s not Indian food

So people might come at us for that but we eaten lots of Indian food in the past three weeks and we’re showing you we’re indulging we’re showing you what the other lifestyle is like here and go and I’m a changed man I have a

Vegetable pesto pasta healthy nutritious and fresh no I joking but the food here is absolutely banging okay so that costs us one ,600 so obviously not the cheapest but really really good healthy nutritious food which is needed because I don’t know if we’ve said the reason that we’re

Here is that Mandarin Beach is home to probably the best martial arts like destination camp in India so we’ve been training at AKA for the last few [Music] days all right let me give you a quick rundown of the gym for those interested this place is famous for its martial

Arts so G did lots of sessions during his stay ranging from MMA to Brazilian jiu-jitsu the gym had a fantastic atmosphere and was incredibly welcoming personally I was after a solid workout spot with decent air conditioning as I really wanted to regain my fitness after indulging in loads of curries up north

In other places it’s quite hard to find gyms where I felt welcome as a woman so the longer I went without exercising the more my mood suffered this gym had everything I needed to refocus and feel like myself again Gaz has actually put

Together a detailed YouTube video on his channel Fighters Vault covering the ins and outs of training here so feel free to check that out for more specifics overall we definitely recommended this spot if you’re in the area now let’s

Dive back into the video okay so we’re just driving down the main High Street now so we’re going to show you what kind of shops and stuff is going on here so you have an idea if you’re going to come and stay in this area what kind of a

Vibe it’s got basically so we’ve got beauty salon souvenir shops places to buy like swimwear loads of places for like wine and alcohol here actually alcohol’s big here loads of little cafe and like little boutique hotels and then as you go down further there becomes like a lot more bougie Resorts that kind

Of like walk off onto the beach where you can go for dinner and stuff we went to we’ve been to quite a few nice ones and there’s also tons of yoga studios as well Cafe much less rubbish is they yeah time for a quick accommodation Tour Okay so we’ve popped back to the accommodation for a bit now this area is quite well known for its like Luxury Resorts so it was quite hard for us to find an accommodation that fit our budget we are staying in lablanca which is £30 a night and it’s little Resort

You’ve got like Bungalows that are two tiered we’re on the top tier you got a nice pool area and the food’s really nice free breakfast is good as well and free breakfast so you get that included so we’d say if you’re looking for like

More of a budget style kind of resort this area then come and stay at this place we’d recommend it I would show you inside the room but we’ve been in here for 3 days so it’s honestly like a hell hole but trust us it’s really nice very

Comfortable and everything you need for £30 and look at how lovely the countryside is from literally like as you look out at the back of the accommodation it’s really cute this is where we got our nice meal bar area s

Alcohol just a 10-minute drive from our beach mandaram is Aron ball Beach so we thought we’d come and drive here from just 10 minutes away and come check it out and see what this place is like cuz obviously if you come here then you

Might want to go and visit the surrounding areas so probably probably just said but the town is absolutely booming is it no I didn’t say that it feels a lot busy we just drove in honestly it’s like way busier nowhere to park as well like everybody’s like there’s so many things parked on

The road and like so many cars around so we’ve just paid like at a paid parking place yeah a lot more trash than the last Beach Mandarin Mandarin [Music] Mandarin it’s definitely a lot busier than the last one isn’t it’ got loads of deck chairs and umbrellas on the beach

There’s also little fishing boats as well which is cute and there’s people surfing out there there’s cows and dogs and lots of people sat on this beach more bars I can hear like TR music as well oh yeah it’s got way more of an

Atmosphere but it’s definitely not a quiet beach like the last one that’s for sure no thank you good instruments bro small somebody thank you not expensive bro I will say about this area here though um that it seems to have a very very very high density population of Russian uh

People so there was a [Laughter] head that was rubbish bro sorry back to your thoughts I almost dived for the ball but I had the camera in my hand and yeah like on the beach ear you there was a lady who was advertising like an event for Russians

Only and stuff which was a bit strange yeah she said like yeah if you’re English you can join only Russian people and every sign has Russian in it and except stuff like that so I think a lot of them just comeing here on holiday I’ll come and migrate

Here so the cows here are like on a mad one like jumping around dancing and one may have made a Bee Line towards us and now Abby scared to walk on the beach yeah they’re definitely very happy cows aren’t they they’re like Galloping like a

Horse hello one corn please yeah so you can buy corns on the uh Beach literally right here for 50 rupees so that’s decent I’m starving for some reason today I’m a bottomless pit of hunger I don’t like this cow looking

At me once you cor look I’m actually don’t like it’s staring straight into I mean you literally decided to walk next to the cow to get corn well I’ll walk around the thing if it comes towards me it keeps staring at me as well why is it star at me I don’t

Like thank you there you go a bit of K on the CB who could say no that but is to be really spicy isn’t it that’s really nice actually it’s like limey obviously you put lemon on it spicy and also salty but there’s no butter on it

Lack of information online about Mandarin Beach but let me tell you this place is an absolute Hidden Gem the beach is stunningly quiet and relaxing with tons of delicious food options nearby plus just an 8-minute drive away from a lively area if you’re seeking some fun we could have easily spent

Months here soaking in the beauty and laidback atmosphere of Goa it’s truly been a great experience and we’re sad to say goodbye thankfully our next destination promises to be just as breathtaking carola awaits with its stunning nature welcomeing locals and tons of interesting activities we can’t
