This vlog is a 3 nights 4 days trip to Milan, Italy Please check out my recommended restaurants, cute cafes and shops 🤍! Paris Charles de Gaulle Terminal 2 Lots of stores and cafes Boarding (Dokidoki!) This trip, my friend who is ex-roommate at my previous airline company is coming to Milan for a flight,
So I decided to go to Milan to see her:) The plane is almost full! The flight time is about an hour Since it’s an EU-to-EU transfer, there’s no immigration and I’m out of the airport just like a domestic flight.
From the airport to the city it takes about an hour by bus (10€ each way) The road was a little crowded, but I arrived in the city. I hurry to the restaurant where my friend is waiting. Here is the first meal of the trip to Milan!
In Milan, there are famous Happy Hour system called Aperitivo, where you can enjoy a meal with a drink The price of one drink includes a buffet! I wanted to experience Aperitivo, so I chose this restaurant that had good reviews on the internet!
As the reviews say, there are many choises! And all are delicious! The waiter frequently comes to our table with meals and offers it to us drinks are around 10€ per cocktail Very good value as this meal is all-you-can-eat too high for me to reach, so my friend is taking it for me.haha

I found this colorful papers on the road a lot The Duomo at night is also lovely We tried to go to the bar before going back to the hotel, but it was so crowded we gave up.
I heard this is a stylish bar in a renovated monastery, so if you’re looking for a good bar in Milan, you should definitely check it out! Back to the hotel and sleep well💤 Today we are going on a day trip to Lake Como Found this poor poster with graffiti…lol
We have a little time before the train, so we take a look at KIKO, a cosmetics store that originated in Milan A brand that is popular even outside of Europe for its affordable prices, great colors, and cute looks!
A cosmetic brand that has not yet launched in Japan, so it would be a good souvenir 🫶 My friend also bought the lipstick and used it right away. She likes the color and it stays long It is available in Europe and the U.S., so you can buy it outside of Milan as well!

It only takes about an hour from Milan city to Lake Como When you see something like this… I definitely want to do it.lol Walking toward the lake
Pretty windows and balcony Arrive at Lake Como! From here you can go to different regions by boat, so the boats are busy coming and going! Buy boat tickets to Bellagio from here Boat fare is 14.8 euros one way (about 1 hour ride) A short walk in the old town until the boat time
Here we are at Como Cathedral. Como has long been a favorite summer resort for Roman emperors, royal families, and millionaires from all over Europe, and the textile industry has also flourished in this city.
The city itself is not that big, but the cathedral is magnificent and beautiful, perhaps because the city flourished in the textile industry. This building next to the cathedral is the former city hall Cute pastel shades of gray and pink 🤍 Animals feasting in the best spot in front of the cathedral 😆

The second floor was occupied, so we sat down on the first floor The windows are fogged up, but it’s fun to see the view of the city 🫶 Lake Como is shaped like the Chinese character for “人”. It takes a long time to go around Lake Como because of its intricacies.
Bellagio, where we are heading now, is around the point where the “人” splits into two halves. Arriving at Bellagio! Bellagio is the most popular spot for sightseeing in Lake Como and the city that became the model for the Hotel Bellagio in Las Vegas because of its beauty The best season is summer, so I read on the Internet that restaurants and stores are closed in winter, but some stores were open!
But there are still many stores closed and the whole town seems to be quiet. I heard that it is quite crowded in summer, so if you don’t like crowds, it might be better to go in winter:) The city is colorful and very pretty even in winter♡) Chiesa di San Giacomo di Rialto
We are going to take a little tour inside. The golden altarpiece was beautiful. Found a cute little store. goods made of wood are sold Cute scale for measuring pasta! This house is too cute😭 We’re heading to a place marked “photo spot” on Google Maps!
I wonder if I’m on the right path. I’m just walking down a path called Just when I was wondering if I was on the right road, this view suddenly appeared The beautiful scenery that I had never even imagined spread out in front of me like a giant screen and I was very impressed.
Maybe it’s because it’s winter and the scenery is a little foggy, so making it even more mysterious. Quiet space with just the two couples who were quietly seeing the view Lots of swans and ducks by the water! so many of them gathered here lol At first I thought, “Maybe I should have come to Bellagio in the summer?” but I’m so glad I came to see such a beautiful view 😭 I’m so impressed! It’s a beautiful city full of nature! Mountains of the Italian Alps with snow on the peaks
If it’s so beautiful in winter, I wonder it’s even more beautiful in summer, which makes me want to return in summer! My motto when traveling is “it’s better to have something left to do”! The more I travel, the more “leftovers” I have. But having “unfinished business” makes me more excited and hopeful for the future 😚 I had a sentimental thought that maybe life is about increasing this kind of “unfinished business” 😚 After enjoying the city of Bellagio for about 2 hours, it was time for the return ferry.
While waiting for the ferry, we made friend with a parson from US! He was quite a Lake Como lover who comes to Italy several times a year on business and has a villa on Lake Como.
George Clooney and other celebrities also have vacation homes on Lake Como! I wonder if these buildings are also a villa or hotel? It’s a very interesting trip with my friend because she easily becomes friends with many different people and dogs 😂 We are back in the city center of Como
Decided to go into a cafe before boarding the train. Even in winter, the terrace seems to be popular and the inside of a restaurant is vacant. Italian cafes have small baked patisseries that are great when we want something a little sweet 🫶
Coffee is the Italian specialty, espresso with chocolate sauce called Marocchino ☕️ It was very enjoyable day trip to Lake Como ✨ By the time we got to Milan, it was completely dark Today’s dinner is at this restaurant just a short walk from the Duomo Toast with Prosecco 🥂 Cotoletta
Can you tell how big it is? Don’t forget the risotto alla milanese! The cutlet is delicious and the batter is flavorful! It’s quite large, but two people can eat it easily! Milanese risotto tastes like a rice version of carbonara. The saffron yellow color is beautiful and tastes delicious!
I recommend this restaurant for authentic Milanese specialties! (bill is about 70€ for two people) After dinner, we came to a gelato shop just a short walk from the restaurant! Even in winter, the store is quite crowded We order by machine and pay the bill
Wait for the number on the receipt to be called Waiting for 6 pairs now When my number is showed up, go to the counter and tell them my favorite flavor They put chocolate sauce in the cone 🫶 All the flavors were delicious ♡
Back to the hotel right after ice cream and an early bedtime to end day 2💤 This line seems to be automatic, so the first thing I thought to myself was “I feel safe even if it’s a demo”😂 The unique building in the distance is an apartment building called “Vertical Forest”
We are now in Corso Como, an area lined with fashionable stores! First, we come to a fashionable select store that symbolizes this area. First we enter a store that sells original goods! There were also collaborative products with ARMANI and the sneaker brand AUTRY! The store is like a museum, full of sophisticated items!
A tote designed with cute character are very popular. Olive oil and pasta are also really cute! Maybe the best souvenirs 🫶 I came to the select store next to the shop! Inside, the store is very spacious, with brands such as Maison Margiera, GUUCI, CELINE, etc.
The store is full of fashionable items. We enjoy enough just for window shopping🫶 This area is a café and restaurant attached to the store! Everything here is very fashionable and nice 😍 Here we are at the biggest variety stores in Milan!
The store is so large that we can get lost in it, and is crammed full of stationery, kitchenware, furniture, etc. Cute luncheon mat with initials 🫶 I thought it was a regular glass, but was surprised to see it was made of silicone! She is desperately looking for our initials 😂 Get matching mugs✨
Buy some cute postcards that were MADE IN ITALY! I fell in love with this charm made of Italian leather😍 It was fun shopping🤍 We are going to eat lunch at EATALY It is a large 3-story building with a food court where you can taste EATALY’s quality food on the spot!
Here we are at the food court on the second floor. I’s good to be able to try the olive oil and balsamic vinegar sold downstairs! Choice of gnocchi with tomato sauce and a simple margherita pizza! Gnocchi is delicious with the sweetness of potatoes Margherita is also a definite delicacy 🫶
After dinner, stroll through the stores on the ground floor Many kinds of cute pasta The olive oil and balsamic vinegar packages are so cute… 🫒 Pistachio cream in a tube! So many cute things to look at 🤍 These totes are cute too🫶 maybe they sell them in Japan too?
A short walk through the modern city Arrive at the café I want to visit This is a chocolate shop from Milan, established in 1913 I was so excited to see the rows and rows of chocolates with the cutest designs! The products lined up in the kitchen concept store are so cute 🤍
There is also a counter in the store and we can enjoy coffee. I ordered Marocchino, My friend chose hot chocolate (it was very sweet and thick, so she diluted it with milk afterwards 😂) I recommend this stylish cafe in Milan and the perfect chocolate souvenir 🫶
Here we are at the Galleria, the model for Tokyo Disneyland’s World Bazaar! Galleria is a roofed shopping street. Lots of boutiques and stores line the streets.
There is a mosaic of a “happy bull” and many people are spinning around the mosaic because it is jinxed that if you spin around the mosaic clockwise three times with your right foot on this axis, you will be happy.
I was a little embarrassed because there were so many people around me, but I gave it a try! My friend spinning around with a heart🫶 After this everyone was spinning in the same pose and it became a trend lol We came to see the Duomo
Lots of kids in costume! Is this some kind of event? Bags of colorful paper falling everywhere and balloons for sale. Finally the mystery of this colorful paper was solved!!😂 Beautiful Duomo from the side. Here we are at a long-established pastry store established in 1911! This store is famous for its marron glacé
The marrons glaces here are made by hand using only simple ingredients and no synthetic preservatives. Very sweet and tastes like you’re going to blow away your fatigue! It is better to eat it with a cup of tea than to eat it on the spot 🤭
We are now at PECK, a high-end food store that also has a presence in Japan! A tempting array of Italian foodstuffs lined up in a row You can buy souvenirs and prepared foods to eat at your hotel. I came to a famous store to buy a sweet called Cannoncino!
The long thing on the left is a cannoncino. The one I ate the next morning I love the crispy, light pie crust with the most deliciously sweet custard! Wish I had bought more… Here we are at the cafe! This is a long-established café under the jurisdiction of PRADA, and it’s quite crowded!
We wait for a seat to become available in the store with its pretty green wallpaper. We waited about 30 minutes to be shown to our seats (longer than I imagined 😱) The latte tasted even better after the wait 🤭
I recommend it because the restaurant is very cute. I hear the food is good too, so I’d like to come back. It was interesting to see so many luxury cars parked on the street as we left the cafe, and everyone on the street was closely observing the cars🤭.
I go into a cute little grocery store that I pass by Lots of stationery, fun to look at. Looks like a little mouse from a picture book I used to read… I don’t remember it clearly, but it’s kind of nostalgic and cute Tintin’s doggie is cute too~!
It was a very cute grocery store 🫶 Last dinner will be served at this restaurant! The interior is more chic and stylish than I had imagined. Her “grazie” is too good like native lol I chose Italian red wine CHIANTI and my friend chose Prosecco! Cheers to our last night in Milan🥂
We had ossobuco, a local Italian dish of braised veal shank, and risotto! The meat was delicious and tender! After a delicious meal at the restaurant, we return to the hotel for a walk. I guess it is a bar? Last day in Milan was fun too!
I said goodbye to my friend at the hotel and came to Milano Centrale station! You can take a bus to Malpensa Airport if you take the one with the earliest departure time from among the three bus companies that stop here.
All companies cost 10€ one way and take about 1 hour, not much difference. Payment is easy, cards accepted. Arriving safely at Malpensa airport without getting stuck in traffic Traveling in the EU is not duty-free, but the store also sold Italy’s famous lemon liqueur, Lemoncello🍋
I didn’t eat it but there is Venchi in the airport😳🍨 I bought some tomato focaccia at a cafe before boarding the plane! It was sooo delicious:) This time I got a window seat:) I was lucky that the seat next to me was empty!
Just before takeoff on the plane, it’s always time to be immersed in trip memories. This time, we took a day trip to Lake Como and had a great time eating Milan’s authentic cuisine! We always said that we wanted to go on a trip someday, but we couldn’t make it due to Covid.
