【ベトナム】ベトナムの熱海!?ホーチミンから高速船で2時間で行ける、ブンタウ日帰り旅行🚢

This time, we’re taking a high-speed boat from Ho Chi Minh to a place called “Vũng Tàu.” You can board the high-speed boat along the Saigon River in District 1. The boarding area looks like this. Let me explain how to make a reservation for the boat!

Open the website called “GREEN LINES DP” and first, choose your destination. Select the departure date. Choose the departure time. Select the schedule for the return boat. Choose the return boat’s time and click on “BOOK.” When the screen changes like this, first select the seat for the outbound boat.

Next, choose the seat for the return journey. Finally, input necessary information like your name, put a checkmark here, and your reservation is complete! Afterward, the QR code will be sent to the registered email address, and you can exchange it for a ticket here.

There’s also a cafe right in front, so you can come a little early and relax. This is the boarding ticket. Taking this boat, it’s a 2-hour boat trip. There were models of various types of boats as well.

Since we had some time before departure, we bought rice balls at a convenience store for breakfast. Now, it’s finally time to depart! I was a bit worried about the boat rocking, but I didn’t feel any discomfort at all. You can reach Vũng Tàu from Ho Chi Minh City by car, but

Since it’s a special occasion, we decided to take a boat trip this time. By the way, whether by boat or car, it takes about 2 hours one way to Vũng Tàu. Inside the boat. The space at your feet is spacious like this. Drink holder. There are also power outlets.

The very important toilet is here. Now, let’s see what it’s like inside. There’s toilet paper! Wi-Fi is also available on board. They also sell snacks and coffee. Let’s go outside for a bit. They distribute water on the boat. Some snacks and wet wipes are also free.

Since the boat has started moving, let’s go outside for a bit. Looks like the sea, but actually, it’s a river. The river’s name is “Saigon River.” Vietnam’s rivers are very large, and they transport containers and more. The 2-hour boat trip passed by in no time. We’ve arrived in Vũng Tàu.

Vũng Tàu is said to be the “Vietnamese Atami” among Japanese residents in Vietnam. Certainly feels like a resort atmosphere! Probably the remnants of an amusement park that is no longer in use? Once you leave the ferry terminal, there are many taxis waiting, so transportation shouldn’t be a problem.

We’ll walk to our first destination. The first destination is the “White Palace.” It’s about a 5-minute walk from the port. White Palace Historical Cultural Relic. This place served as a villa for past presidents. The entrance fee is 15,000 VND (about 90 JPY). Here’s the entrance ticket.

The park is quite spacious, and you have to walk a bit to reach the former president’s villa. Here is the former president’s villa. In front of the villa, there’s a cannon that was apparently used in the past. Now, let’s go inside. Indoors, you’ll find precious items, including ceramics recovered from nearby shipwrecks.

Now, please take a moment to explore the interior. As expected of a president’s villa, there’s even a shelter in the park. Let’s go inside. And then, an unexpected event happens… Surprised by a Japanese person who didn’t know, haha. I was shocked~(°_°) Let’s explore a bit more within the grounds.

The next destination is the “World Arms Museum.” It’s a museum displaying weapons and artifacts from around the world. It’s located about 2-3 minutes by car from the White Palace. Here’s the “World Arms Museum.” First, purchase the tickets. The entrance fee is 70,000 VND (about 420 JPY). World Arms Museum.

This museum has about 4,000 weapons and armor on display. Items such as the Crusaders, Japanese samurai, Chinese cavalry, ancient Greek warriors, and ancient Roman warriors’ costumes and weapons are exhibited. All the artworks displayed here were collected by the museum owner, Mr. Robert Taylor, a British citizen.

Now, take a moment to see the inside of the museum. Next is lunchtime! We’ll go to a place called “David Pizzeria,” about a 5-minute taxi ride away. Arrived~ 🚕 David Pizzeria. The interior has air-conditioned indoor seating and a terrace with a view of the sea.

Since it’s a special occasion, we decided to have lunch on the terrace. The pizza was bigger and more satisfying than expected! Thank you for the meal~ 😋 We’ll move to the next destination by Grab taxi. We’ll go see a giant statue of Christ about 3 minutes away by car from here.

This is the entrance to the giant Christ statue. Jesus Christ Statue Mai Entrance. To reach the statue of Christ at the top of the mountain, you have to climb about 1,000 stone steps. So, when visiting here, come in comfortable clothes. 300th step!!

There are several resting spots along the way, so we’ll aim for the top while taking breaks. A little more to the top!! 700th step!! Jesus Christ Statue. At the foot of the Christ statue, there was an old fortress. This cannon was reportedly built by France in the late 19th to early 20th centuries,

During the time when Vietnam was a French colony. In such a place, I tried flying a drone. The height of the Christ statue is 32m. The length of the outstretched arms is 18.4m. In a place like this, a giant Christ statue stands. From here, you can overlook the city of Vũng Tàu.

Actually, you can enter and climb inside this giant Christ statue. So, next, let’s go inside the Christ statue. It’s strictly no shoes inside the Christ statue. Be aware of the designated entry times. Once again, stairs. Finally, climb 133 steps of a spiral staircase.

The staircase is very narrow, just enough for people to pass each other. Finally, we’ve reached the top. A space just enough for two people to stand. By the way, roughly here is… The shoulder level of the Christ statue!! The wind was strong, and it was a bit scary being so high.

But the view was spectacular!! I wonder how they managed to build such a giant Christ statue in a place like this. Lastly, here. We’ll fly the drone to Mon-Saint-Michel of Vũng Tàu. During low tide, you can walk to this temple. Let’s get a little closer. A short stroll in the sky.

Found something like a cape. Let’s go there later!! Let’s walk to the cape I saw with the drone. Everyone seems to be napping peacefully. Arrived at the cape I saw with the drone earlier. The time for the return boat is approaching, so let’s head back to the pier.

By the way, I was curious about the cable car, and it seems to operate from here. It goes to “Ho May Park,” an amusement park at the mountaintop. Vũng Tàu was enjoyable even as a day trip from Ho Chi Minh. I hope you all have a chance to visit^^

Thank you for watching the video until the end. I would appreciate comments, likes, and channel subscriptions^^
