Hello! I’m JapanWalker. This time, I went on an unlimited shuttle bus tour to Katsuoji Temple in Minoh (箕面) and autumn leaves viewing at Minoh Falls (箕面大滝)! I bought the bus ticket on website for the fall season only! Please enjoy this video and the bright red autumn leaves (*^^*)

This trip will depart from Osaka Umeda Station (大阪梅田駅) on the Hankyu Railway(阪急電車) in Osaka. There is a central ticket gate(中央改札口) on the second floor, so enter from there and board the train. Here I will meet up with my friend I haven’t seen in 5 or 6 years.

I’m really happy because it’s been a while (*^^*) There’s a timetable on the left, so You can double check the train time. Today is Sunday. We’ll take the ”express train(急行列車)” bound for Takarazuka(宝塚方面) that leaves every 10 minutes. Let’s head to the platform! From this station, head to Hankyu Minoh Station(阪急箕面駅).

Platform is No.4, take the express train(急行列車) bound for Takarazuka(宝塚), change at Ishibashidai Ekimae Station(石橋阪大前駅)., and go to Minoh Station(箕面駅). The shuttle bus I reserved online this time leaves from Minoh Station(箕面駅). The train arrived just in time!

Let’s sit down. The sofas on Hankyu Line trains are said to be famous for being fluffy and comfortable. The train is heading towards Ishibashi-Hakadai-mae Station(石橋阪大前駅). Transfer at the 4th station from Osaka Umeda(大阪梅田駅). It takes about 15 minutes on the express train(急行). Here you will transfer to the Hankyu Minoh Line(阪急箕面駅).

I wonder if everyone here is also going to Minoh? During this time of autumn leaves, there are fewer municipal buses, so they often fill up quickly and you have to wait. That’s why I recommend the unlimited ride shuttle bus I bought online because it’s efficient and recommended ♬

So I recommend the unlimited ride shuttle bus I bought online because it’s efficient ♬ Let’s ride! I’ll be riding for about 6 minutes from now. Get off at the 3rd station. Minoh is the final station. I’m going to get on the bus that I reserved now.

There is about 30 minutes left before the bus leaves. Minoh is a famous place for autumn leaves? I did not know that. There are really many people here. Now, I’m going to look for the shuttle bus stop. The bus stop seems to be here.

I found an information center in just the right place! Let’s go and ask them! Hello! I would like to know where the Hankyu Transportation bus stop is. Have you already made a reservation for the bus? Now we are here. yes.

Walk along the left side of the bus rotary in front of you and the bus stop is at the far end. OK! It’s right across from the information center where you are now! OH I got it! Thank you lol ! The person said it was on the left, right?

Is that where they’re sitting? There’s the tourist map of Minoh(箕面). If you go left from this place, you can go to Minoo Falls (箕面大滝). For now, walk straight on the left! Is it near the parked bus at the bottom? This area is directly across from the information center that Acchiga went to earlier.

This is it? The shuttle bus stop is probably around here♪ But when I looked at the signboard, it said that the bus was suspended. Excuse me, do you feel like you’re waiting for the bus here? It seems so! Do you also take the bus to see the autumn leaves?

Yes! That’s what I thought when I lined up here. That’s right! It’s around here. Isn’t it around here? There is a rotary mark written here. Are you going to Katsuoji Temple too? yes! I thought Katsuoji was pronounced “Katsuoji” but when I asked ppl here about it, They call it “Katsuoh-ji”.

Where did you get this pamphlet? They were handing them out at the station! That’s right! You’ll feel safe if you have this map ♪ The bus has just arrived! Staff in blue clothes will be at your reception 👀

For those who have booked this shuttle bus now and are using the 1st and 2nd buses, we are giving away a “Mino Mt. Goshuin picture map” for 2025 ! Also, if you apply online, you will receive a “Kachi Gummy”, a collaboration between UHA Mikakuto and Katsuoji Temple.

You will also receive your ticket to Katsuoji Temple and your wristband for unlimited rides here. Sorry I made you wait! My name is 〇〇. You guys are 2 peoples, right? thank you. I’ll give it to you these. I got the gummy (called 勝グミ)!

The Katsuoji Temple ticket and this green wristband will be used in place of the bus ticket. We will check it on your way there and back, so please wear it on your wrist. I also got the “Mt. Minoh Goshuin picture map”! Good morning! This gummy is so cute ♥

Below is the wristband for riding. This bus tour price includes admission ticket (2,000 JPY). This ticket is valid for one entry only. There are quite a few foreigners on this bus! What is this? Let’s take a look inside. Is this a map showing where to get the goshuin stamp?

Looking at this map makes me feel like a tourist! I keep it in my chair pocket, but I have to remember it when I get off the bus! LOL Please fasten your seat belt! I’ll be on the bus for 30 minutes from now ♪ I’m looking forward to seeing the autumn leaves ☆

I’ll eat breakfast on the bus. There may not be any restaurants inside the temple. This bus has very new equipment 👍👍 This is what the feet look like. Don’t have enough room to put your legs in? The bus runs through a residential area! Today’s clouds are scale clouds.

Unlike Kyoto and Nara, the autumn leaves here in Minoh are similar to those in Hokkaido, and you can see the five colors of green, gold, red, sky blue, and white clouds from this running skyline. This bus runs in one direction.

It runs in a circle, going from Minoh Station to Minoh Falls parking lot to Katsuoji Temple and back to Minoh Station. Today, by showing your green wristband, you can ride the bus as much as you want. Buses cannot run in the opposite direction (1 way).

If you have time, go down to the waterfall and enjoy it, then wait for the next shuttle bus where you got off, show your wristband, ride, go to Katsuoji Temple, have fun, and then show your wristband again when you get off. , you can return to Minoh Station.

The recommended way to enjoy the experience for customers who took the first bus in the morning is to first take the bus to Minoh Falls, go down Takimichi to Minoh Station, have lunch at Minoh Station, and then take the bus departing from Minoh Station.

This is the way to get to Katsuoji Temple by bus. The admission ticket to Katsuo-ji Temple is only available once, so go to Katsuo-ji Temple around 3:00 pm and see Katsuo-ji Temple in its bright state.

If you stay there for about 3 hours, the light will start to light up as the sun sets, so it will be bright. You can enjoy Katsuoji Temple in its current condition and the illumination of the temple in the dark.

You can then descend from Katsuoji Temple and make the most of your day. Today, Katsuoji Temple will be open until the final business hours at 8:30, so customers who take the first train in the morning can enjoy plenty of fun. Look at the bottom left as seen from this bus.

You will see a slope going down towards the waterfall. If you go down here, you can go to the basin of the waterfall. It takes about 1 hour to get to waterfall, so you can have a lot of fun. If you want to go to Katsuo-ji Temple first and see the waterfall,

You will have to return to Minoh Station from Katsuo-ji Temple and then go to the waterfall. The distance from where you get off the bus to the waterfall is not far, but it’s a narrow road and it takes about 10 minutes to walk if there are a lot of people.

The timetable is placed at the front of the bus, so please take it if you need it! It is currently parked at waterfall in Minoh. So, if you are going to Katsuo-ji Temple, please stay seated, but if you are going to see waterfall, please get off here.

Please raise your hand if you can get off this waterfall right now. There are quite a few! If you are sitting in an auxiliary seat, please stand up. Please sit down if there is an empty seat. The bus is currently stopping at waterfall in Minoh.

We are going to Katsuo-ji Temple, so we will not get off here. The view of the autumn leaves from here is spectacular✨ One of the boxes I received was empty lol I’m so sorry!! Please tell the receptionist that the map is empty and get the new one.

Now we will depart for Katsuo-ji Temple. It will take about 10 minutes to arrive from here. Ladies and gentlemen, we have arrived at Katsuo-ji Temple. Please remove your seat belt only after the bus has come to a complete stop.

Please refer to the timetable and come back around the time you want to ride Katsuoji-san, around where you got off this time. The shuttle bus leaves every hour, and the number of buses is increased during this period. Please get down. It seems that the return bus leaves from here.

Let’s head to Katsuoji Temple. It seems that customers on the autumn leaves viewing tour walk on the right side. If you do not have an admission ticket, you can purchase one here. Since we are on a fall foliage viewing tour and have tickets to enter the mountain, we will enter from here.

Thank you. The staff member took away the admission ticket earlier, so I’ll ask for it back. Yay! I got it back! The map written on the back of the ticket is important, isn’t it? The gate is currently under repair. . . I’m sorry I couldn’t see it.

Suddenly, a fountain greets you, and it is very impressive! This Katsuoji Temple is extremely huge! Blue skies and autumn leaves! What a stunning view! ✨There are a lot of foreigners here. How do you all know this place? Is this temple that famous? When I hear the voice, I wonder if it’s from Taiwan?

Found the Kachidaruma signboard! Daruma-san is so tiny and cute! There are lots of them in various places! It’s interesting. I wonder if there will be more people in Kyoto this season? There are a lot of darumas there too! amazing! here! look! It’s that place you often see on SNS! Should I visit here?

It is written as Ichigan Fudoson. It is said that your wishes will come true. Let’s go to that famous place for The One-Wish Fudo Bodhisattva is worshipped as a deity that grants only one wish. 20 yen for a candle and 30 yen for 3 sticks of incense

! This is the place where Dharma is offered. If you look closely, you can see that the woman took the daruma she had left and took a photo with her! What is written in the Dharma? I’m writing down my wishes related to entrance exams. There is Dharma everywhere. Dharma of various sizes.

Dharma of various sizes. Everyone is more interested in Daruma than the autumn leaves. Daruma dolls are also placed between the trees. Let’s go to the main hall. Daruma exists in places like this too. Now let’s head to the main hall! Hey, that’s amazing! Lots here too!

I feel like I’m going to get sunburned by the sun here today. Wow! Are these dharma for prayers? There are different colors too! Everyone is buying Daruma dolls! Daruma fortune slip 500 yen (cash only). Daruma’s butt was stuffed with fortune. You can also buy that big Daruma here.

Let’s draw the fortune right away! Daruma’s face is slightly different. There are various things. Once you purchase a Daruma doll, you can take it home or offer it as an offering. There are really daruma dolls everywhere. It looks great against the autumn leaves ✨✨

This is the main hall of katsuo-ji Temple, a temple of the Koyasan Shingon sect. Renowned as a temple of victory, Katsuo-ji Temple attracts visitors who seek success in exams, sports, business, and employment, continuously praying for victory. We think the daruma is so cute that we should take it home ♥

The daruma is even placed on top of the tiles. There are Daruma dolls everywhere you look. I can hear the voice of the sutra. Your voice is strong and powerful. This ema is cute ♥ You can see the wonderful autumn leaves from here. Did you drop the Daruma doll? ? ! lol

I was surprised! I have a lot of small Daruma dolls. If you look at the sign for the way home, it will tell you to walk to the right. We are now discussing where to go next. What’s there at the top?

Now that we’ve visited most of Katsuoji Temple, it’s time to go see the waterfall 🏔 A collaboration between moss and daruma. There was a toilet right there, so I stopped by. Touch free. It’s a beautiful toilet. Let’s go down. This is similar to Lombard Street, a hilly street in San Francisco.

This is similar to Lombard Street, a hilly street in San Francisco. Looks like the kids will have fun too! Dharma is here too. Carp is swimming. Even though feeding the carp was prohibited, the person from earlier was feeding it. . This seems to be the only restaurant in this facility. Souvenir shop corner.

What are you selling? It’s Daruma’s cookie. A cute ball-shaped box. Inside was crunch chocolate. What is this? It’s Daruma Ramune! What is this? Is this all made of stained glass? ? It’s amazing! ! I enjoyed Katsuoji Temple! it was fun. I went to a temple full of dharma for the first time.

Now, let’s get on the shuttle bus! Looks like the bus has already arrived! I have to hurry! Excuse me, but just to confirm, when you go to the waterfall, you take this bus back to Minoh Station and then go to the waterfall, right? We had the same idea.

I’m glad I got on the bus at just the right time. Then we will go back to Minoh Station to see the waterfall. This bus takes about 45 minutes from Katsuoji Temple to Minoh Station. Enjoy the view of autumn leaves from the window for a while.

If I want to go to Otaki, should I just stay on this bus? Instead of taking this bus, please get off the bus and take the next bus. The bus will also depart from the same location. That’s right! Should I wait here for the next bus?

Could you go to the reception desk over there and ask if you can ride once? You can ride the bus as much as you want, but we cannot guarantee that you will be able to board the bus you want.

There is a reception desk in front of the station, so please check there for available seats. The staff are wearing blue jumpers, so you can easily recognize them. I’ve already booked the bus there, so I’m sure, but for the second flight, I’ll have to line up directly on the bus.

I should have gone to Taki without getting off the bus I just got on. There is a reception desk here, but I didn’t notice it when I arrived. There were empty seats. Apparently we can take the 2:20pm bus. Can I make a reservation on the day? of course! You can do it!

This bus tour will be running on Saturdays and Sundays until December 3rd. If you go tonight, please make a reservation early. Where should we have lunch? There’s a Mister Donut, so let’s go to the bottom! I will go to “Momiji Street” where there is a Mister Donut shop.

The first Mister Donut store is located here! I have to go to the first store! This street is full of wonderful shops. The inside of the store is a cute 70’s style orange color. The lamps are also retro and cute. On April 2, 1971, we opened our first store in Japan.

I wonder if Mister Donut’s shop used to be in a building like this? I wish there were limited edition items that could only be found here. You can also eat pizza here! The inside of the store is crowded, so I’m going to take out. I bought donuts!

You can see soba and tofu shops. The bus leaves at 2:20pm, so hurry up and get back! a! The bus is coming! ! Are there still seats available? there is! please! I’m glad I made it on time ♥ Thank you very much for using Hankyu Transportation’s Katsuoji charter bus via Minoh Falls today.

The bus driver has a request for you. Please be sure to fasten your seat belt. From here on, there will be quite a few sharp curves from Minoh Falls to Katsuoji Temple. There are several sharp curves on the way up,

So please sit with your back firmly against the backrest of the bus. Please wait until we arrive! It takes about 10 minutes to reach Minoo Otaki. Right now, there is a baby carriage on the left hand side, and there are couples walking around.

If you go down this slope, you can see the basin of the waterfall. Then please come back up and wait for me when you get off the bus. The bus leaves every hour, so you can take that bus to Katsuoji Temple. If you want to see the waterfall, please get off here.

We get off here. It would be a pain to come up here again to take the bus home, so I decided not to take the bus and headed down towards Minoh Station! 700m to the waterfall. I’ll walk for a while. They sell maple tempura, a Minoh specialty.

There is an area at the back of the store where you can eat. We’ll continue down this road. They said it was about a 10 minute walk to the waterfall basin, but I think it’s a longer walk. . . Minoh is famous for its monkeys, but will they be there today?

There are two ways to get to the waterfall: stairs or a slope. For now, there is an observation deck, so I’m going to climb it. Wow ✨ So beautiful! amazing! ! The autumn leaves look like art 🍁 The area around the waterfall is extremely crowded with people.

It looks like the autumn leaves in Arashiyama, Kyoto. The autumn leaves are truly colorful! Isn’t the view of the autumn leaves from here just amazing! It’s a late lunch. I ate the shrimp gratin pie that I bought earlier.

Now that you’ve had your fill, do you want to go up the stairs or down the slope? Now that you’ve had your fill, do you want to go up the stairs or down the slope? Now that you’ve had your fill, do you want to go up the stairs or down the slope?

The waterfall is on the right, so let’s go to the right (stairs)! This staircase goes down quite a bit. There are rows of stalls lined up. Minoh Waterfall is located in the Meiji no Mori Minoh Quasi-National Park and is known as the “Famous Waterfall of the World”.

It has been selected as one of “Japan’s Top 100 Waterfalls”, with a drop of 33 meters. The sight of water rushing down from the cliff is extremely dynamic and breathtaking. Shall we go back to Minoh Station? Which direction is the station? Let’s do our best! That’s a nice looking toilet.

The water looks very clear. Pass through the stalls. There are a lot of people lining up at the takoyaki shop. Takoyaki shop. Check again to make sure you are heading in the right direction to the station. The direction is correct! You can see an oden shop.

The old lady tells the young man to take the garbage home. In contrast, the young man was furious. The old lady tells the young man to take the garbage home. In contrast, the young man was furious. It’s like forest bathing. The air is clean and I feel refreshed.

As you walk like this, people will come walking from below. I don’t have the physical strength, so it’s better to go down the mountain from the top. This big rock looks like it’s about to fall. It’s a very red maple. As vivid as a painting.

There was a coffee shop so let’s go in. Yamamoto Coffee Hall is located approximately in the middle of Minoh Waterfall Road. The store is full of customers. Coffee (beans and powder) is sold here. These coffee beans sell for 1000 yen. Is it cheap?

I don’t drink coffee, so I don’t know if it’s cheap. There are a lot of people lined up outside. Those coffee beans were on sale. It was actually easy. Let’s take a look at the view from the terrace seats. It feels so luxurious to be able to enjoy the autumn leaves from here!

It was a wonderful coffee shop! Then we will continue walking to Minoh Station. I thought I was going to get to the station right away, but it felt like I was walking quite a bit. At this time, I remembered that I had climbed up from the bottom earlier.

I found something like a temple on the right, so I went there. The scenery here is also amazing! All I can say now is beautiful words. RYUANJI Temple is known as the birthplace of the lottery in Japan and is famous as the oldest Benzaiten temple in Japan.

It is believed to bring blessings for entertainment and financial fortune. If you wish to win the lottery, be sure to visit this temple. What a picture! I wonder if it’s getting pretty close? 1km to the station! About 10 minutes!

As the name suggests, this bridge is full of autumn leaves. My favorite bridge today. Is this riverbed cute? Where is Kawa? Is that what you read? It was introduced on TV before. Is it possible to create a riverbed in Minoh?

This insect museum was established in 1953 within the lush Meiji no Mori Minoh Quasi-National Park, renowned as one of Japan’s three greatest insect treasure troves.

It showcases various insect specimens and live specimens. Additionally, it holds interactive insect events for families on Sundays and public holidays, providing opportunities for visitors to engage with insects up close. Let’s continue walking〜 I found a light up poster. The illumination of the Minoh waterfall that I went to earlier looks so fantastic!

I want to go there at night next time. I wonder if everyone is lining up for Momiji tempura? We’ll be arriving at Minoh Station soon! The sound of flowing water is soothing. What is that? It’s tasteful! It was a rest area called Umeyashiki!

I saw a wedding reception held here before, and it had a very elegant atmosphere with Japanese clothes✨I Otowasou is a Taisho-era mansion nestled in “Meiji no Mori Minoh,” offering traditional Japanese cuisine as a ryokan.

With accommodations limited to one group per day, guests can enjoy kaiseki cuisine and sushi at the counter. Additionally, the venue hosts wedding ceremonies and banquets. I saw a wedding reception held here before, and it had a very elegant atmosphere with Japanese clothes✨ It was spectacular!

When I look down, I see someone crossing the river. Will we arrive at Minoh station soon? The Hashimoto Pavilion located along the Minoh Falls Trail has been awarded the Governor’s Prize in the Osaka Landscape Award! The 1st floor of YUZUYA Hashimoto-tei features a takeout and retail space,

Along with a slightly luxurious café in a riverside open space design. On the 2nd floor, there’s the reservation-only restaurant YUZUYA A TABLE UKITA. There is also a book by Sazae-san, who also has Momiji’s Tempura Restaurant. The picture is so cute! Paperback bookstore, do you have used books here?

Walking around here feels like going to Arima Onsen. It feels like traveling! A world of human brothers? A fruit shop also sells vegetables. I’m really glad I was able to go to so many places today. Chestnuts from Tanba are big in size. There is a famous hot spring facility called

Minoh Onsen Spa Garden . What just happened! ? Yakipon? What is that? oh! This is the soba restaurant I wanted to go to in front of Mister Donut shop! The skull is talking. A pottery shop called Minoh Yaki Kiln. Ceramics that are redder than coral are sold here.

These people are probably going to go see the light up now. I’m really glad I was able to use the bus efficiently this time! It’s quite tiring to climb up to see the waterfall from this location. I’m glad I reserved the shuttle bus. arrival! thank you for your hard work.

I go to a cafe to take a break. What should I order? I ordered an Italian lemon soda. After about 20 to 30 minutes, it was completely dark. It’s light up time! The illumination of the station is also amazing! I’m glad I finally got to see a beautiful sight!

Light-up information in the brochure There is information about Otaki in Minoh! The autumn leaves were just beginning to change color! I wonder if next week is the best time to see the autumn leaves? Thank you for staying so late! ♥ I’m heading home too~

Next time is a video of “Jonangu Shrine”, famous for camellia and plum blossoms in Kyoto. Stay Tune!
