【ミラノ観光】イタリアの年越し｜ミラノ空港から市内

Hello~ This is Miyu, traveling in Italy☺ I just arrived in Milan, I’ll correct my luggage first, then I’ll take a break at a hotel in Milan. Today is New Year’s Eve, so I’m going to eat what Italians eat on New Year’s Eve for dinner,

And then go to the Milan Cathedral for the countdown. There are mainly 2 ways to get into the city from Milan’s international airport. One is the railway. This costs €13≒2,100 yen. You can go to major stations quickly! Buses also run to various stations, including Milan Central Station.

Since this is cheap at €10≒1,600 yen, I will use the bus this time. There are 3 buses from the airport to the center of Milan, and I chose the Airport Bus Express because the counter was open.

I was told it would leave at 3:00 pm, and now I have about 10 minutes left. I’ll try to find Exit 4, platform 2. It says Bus, so this is it! That bus at platform 2 looks like the one. Let’s take this! I’m at Lotto station now,

So I’m going to take the M1 line and go to Villa S. Giovanni! We arrived at the hotel! This is what the hotel looks like today. We got an upgrade, but the beds are two simple single beds. I took a break at the hotel, so I’m going to go to the center of Milan and have dinner! It’s not shown on the screen, but I changed two subways and I’m walking from the station near the restaurant.

I came to Milan’s cathedral there were a lot of firecrackers and things like that, and it didn’t seem like there was any performance going on, so the fireworks and firecrackers were just going wild. I’m scared because I don’t know where there will be fireworks or firecrackers,

So I thought of staying for another 10 minutes until the countdown, but since I was able to see Milan’s Duomo directly in front of me, I decided to leave feeling satisfied. Five minutes before the New Year, many people are heading towards the cathedral.

It doesn’t seem like the biggest fireworks of the century will be going off at the cathedral. The fireworks that the general public has been setting off for a while are probably going off again, and I’ve been hearing loud noises for a while now, but

It doesn’t seem like we’re going to see anything amazing. I was scared of the firecrackers I saw on the subway when I went to dinner earlier, so I gave up on taking the subway from the Duomo. I walk for a station, and there are still firecrackers around,

But I want to go underground now and see if it’s okay, then I’ll take the subway home. I returned to the station near my hotel. I didn’t expect it, but Are there firecrackers and fireworks here as well? What’s this smoke? Is it all firecracker smoke?

It seems to be happening not only around the Duomo, but all over the city. When I looked up “Milan New Year’s Eve,” most of the articles that said “Go here for New Year’s Eve!” mentioned the Duomo in Milan. Maybe that’s why so many foreign tourists go there.

However, there doesn’t seem to be any event officially held by Milan. I don’t really understand it. I went to a place where I thought I would get pickpocketed, but I wasn’t and was able to go to the cathedral and experience New Year’s Eve in Milan, so I’ll call this a win.
