“Weeping Plum and Camellia Festival” at Jonangu Shrine in Kyoto, Japan

Now let’s proceed inside the temple grounds. The nearest station is “Takeda Station”. The nearest bus stops are “Jonangu” and “Jonanguumae”. Since this day is a holiday, many people are visiting. This is a beautiful weeping plum. It is said that 150 weeping plum trees are planted in the garden. Please enjoy a stroll through the garden. The two-colored plums are very bright and beautiful.   6. 境内は、かなりの人手でしたね。
    そして、梅もかなり見頃で美しかったです。
    満開のしだれ紅梅、しだれ白梅の組み合わせは、息を呑む美しさだったと思います。
    動画は、神社の境内でしたが、しだれ梅の綺麗な組み合わせを見ますと、境内の庭というよりはまるで「ユートピア」と言っても、良さそうな感じです(特に、途中の終わりかけの椿が下に落ちているのを見ると、一層そのように感じます)。
    そして、満開の梅とは裏腹に散った花びらが下に落ちている、場面がありました。こちらも、満開のと同様美しかったです。
    ほんの一時期だけ、木の上で美しく咲きそれをみなさんに披露し、それがあっという間に一斉に散り地面に落ちる。
    その落ちた花びらは、土に帰りそれが花の栄養分になり、そして次の年に次の世代の花が咲きまた人々に美しく披露する。
    こう考えていきますと、花も人間同様に儚いものだなと感じますね。
    とにかく、今年も美しい梅の花を披露くださり、感謝します(笑)😊。
