Where Did TUCKER CARLSON Eat & Shop in RUSSIA ?

Hello everybody. Welcome to Travelling with Russell.  Welcome to a new video. Welcome to Moscow.  Now, I’m not too far from the center of Moscow  today and right behind me is Kiev railway station   and if maybe you’ve watched the news in the  last two weeks you’ll probably know that a

Certain journalist stood here exactly where I am  about a week ago and made a video about Russia   and being that this is the area in Moscow where  I live live I thought I’d retrace his footsteps

A little and just see the places that he went  to and you know let’s kind of understand why he   went there and just see if it’s exactly how it  was in his video he’s had hundreds of millions

Of views on his social media accounts can I do  the same let’s go and find out shall we the area   where we’re standing is essentially Kiev Railway  station which is right in front of us here and

Then there is a very big shopping center just off  in the distance which is literally where he was   standing in front of as I was just now that’s  called euris Shopping Center it’s not the most   beautiful shopping Center when you compare it to  the railway station next to it he didn’t actually

Show that in his video he actually went inside the  metro and there’s a couple of different lines that   run through here there’s also Suburban trains  that leave to and from this railway station as   well I thought just for a few minutes we’ll just  briefly walk around this area cuz he missed a

Few really interesting things or what I would  consider beautiful things that he could have   shown in this part of his video the weather today  looked fairly similar to last week when he made   the video it’s currently about -10 but the real  feel is about minus5 so it’s a little chilly today

It’s definitely scarf hat and glove weather one  thing I will note about his videos is he wasn’t   wearing his jacket zipped up. He wasn’t wearing a hat.  Today it’s -10 it feels probably closer to -15c  and the weather last week wasn’t too different.

How we can possibly brave having such a thin  jacket and filming without even rugging up   a little bit. I don’t know.  It’s very chilly today of course I’m wearing  my nice thick jacket and in between filming I’m

Putting gloves on so I’m keeping myself nice and  warm if You’ have just turn the camera around a   little bit there’s actually a really nice park  here of course it’s winter now and the snow is   covering most of it but there’s a very beautiful  Fountain here with a really interesting abstract

Piece of art and of course there’s no water  running in Winter they switch them all off   across all of Russia this beautiful Park area and  then Kiyevsky Public Garden I think it’s called.  I’am not 100% sure of the name. Even on the maps it doesn’t really

Say the name properly but it’s a great place  to come and have a walk the actual Moscow   river is just off in the distance and then  if we crossed the river and walked around   about 15 minutes in that direction we’d end up  a little bit closer to Moscow on Arbat Street.

Which is very famous in Moscow for a lot of  tourists to go to mostly it’s also a very famous   area where a lot of writers and composers  and famous Russians lived for many years.  So the plan is to film the video in  three parts and put it into one video.

What I’m going to do from here is I’m  going to walk over to Vkusna I Tochaka.  I saw that he went there for a cheeseburger  and he didn’t actually eat in the restaurant   he took it and ate it in the car. Why didn’t he eat it in the restaurant

He had a cheeseburger wasn’t eating cavv or  anything like that so we’re going to have to   go have a cheeseburger together I’m then going  to go into the Moscow Metro and going and have   a look at Kyiv Metro station it’s actually a  really beautiful station at the same time then

We’re going to head on over to the supermarket  that he went to called Ashan and have a look and   see this bread that he was looking at and some  of the things inside that Supermarket we’re not

Going to do a full walk around of the place just  a brief overview of the three different places   that he showed in his videos here in Moscow  another thing that I find really interesting   at this station is the electric bus charging ports  right here and we haven’t really walked that far

In this first few minutes of the video you can see  the clock tower of the station again you can see   the shopping center off on the right and then  these buses come into the station and you can

Just see there the telescopic arm going up and  the buses are all recharging and I believe that   Russia has one of the largest electric bus fleets  in the world and depending on the city you living

In Russia there’s more or less of them of course  and you can see the lady here just waiting for the   bus to finish charging they basically do a fast  charge and that way then they can do their route

Come back again to the home bus station like this  and keep charging and off they go I thought I’d   stop right in the middle of the road here because  this is quite a interesting photo spot that a lot

Of people maybe miss out on or don’t realize and  there’s such a contrast in the buildings so we   look off to the right there’s some older n story  Russian apartments and very typical Apartments   as well mind you off on the left we’ve got euris  shopping center which is just a huge huge shopping

Center couple of levels underground I think it’s  about five levels above ground it is massive now   way off in the distance it’s really not that  far is Moscow City or some people like to call   it new Moscow City and just have a look at the  contrast between these smaller apartment blocks

And then the skyscrapers off in the distance it’s  just phenomenal to stand here and have a look at   the buildings from this perspective if I zoom  in slightly I think this is really a neat spot   to get a photograph and just the foreground and  background in the one shot and really all those

Buildings over in Moscow City are only in about a  3 km radius when you stand there as I pass under   the arch of dragonflies where we’re actually  heading is literally right here and this is the   exact kka that the famous journalist went to visit  now whether you’ve watched the video or not I’m

Going to head in in there and get a cheeseburger  I’m actually going to eat it inside cuz it’s much   warmer do have a question for everybody though  as you see the building’s off in the distance

Again do you think this Shopping Center’s out of  place and looks ugly or do you see a beauty in   architecture now of course I understand we’re in  2024 and modern times need modern buildings but is

It ugly let me know in the comments and then right  ahead of us here what would have been the famous   Golden Arch’s restaurant is now Tasty and Dot. When I first came to Russia about 10 years ago

This is one of the first restaurants that I went  to on my own without bringing my wife to find   my way around Moscow and I remember catching  the train to Kyiv railway station from where   I live getting off doing this exact walk and  going to this exact restaurant 10 years ago

If you do want to see a more in-depth review of  one of these restaurants I did a video recently   I’ll put a link to it so you can watch a more  in-depth review we’re going to literally walk

In have a cheeseburger and head on out walking  on inside now this was previously a McDonald’s   for many many many years and then it closed and  then reopened as quka we’re going to use one of   these self checkouts order a cheeseburger  and see if it really tastes like Tucker

Carlson said it did at this restaurant they’ve  actually got table service so I’m not going to   walk out and eat it in my car I’m going to sit  down and enjoy it in the restaurant number 87

So I’m going to sit down and they’ll bring  it to my table and the one thing I noticed   he did show in his video is the different cakes  right here now of course the McCafe is no longer.

They’ve definitely got a coffee station right here  and plenty of choices and some nice cakes it’s a   bit too early for me to have a cake today  I’ll have to leave that in the glass case   for next time this was definitely the cake that  he ordered from this exact location the secret

Eating in this restaurant is actually coming  up to the second level and they got this very   nice seating area up here it’s much quieter. There’s less people and I can actually eat my   cheeseburger and relax and warm up a little bit. So, in literally about 3 minutes my meal came.

Now I couldn’t just order a cheeseburger like  Tucker Carlson did because I’d be hungry so   I actually got myself the big hit Meal. Which is basically the Big Mac meal so you   get the burger medium fries and a drink and of  course I got Tucker Carlson’s cheeseburger right

Here we’re going to taste that in a second and  if you’re curious the price so the actual medium   big hit meal and the cheeseburger came to  402 rubles which is just about $4.40 USD.  That is the medium meal and the cheeseburger  together let me know where you live what the price

Of McDonald’s is where you are of course if you’re  in Russia this is the standard price I’m going to   have a quick fry oh it tastes good I’m not going  to do the tasting of the big hit if you want to

Watch that other video that I did you can check  that out but I’m going to have to do the Tucker   Carson cheeseburger tasting now I’m actually  holding it the right way around this time I   keep getting told I’m holding it upside down this  is the classic cheeseburger by the way nothing

Fancy. I can see why Tucker Carson liked this.  I mean how did he only want a cheeseburger  though surely he eats more than just this   maybe he just wanted to come to you know see what  the replacement for McDonald’s is like here in   Vkusna I Tochka. Very nice.

I’m going to enjoy my lunch and we’re going to  head off to the railway station and go into the   metro and see just how beautiful it really is. As I head out of Vkusna I Tochka I’m going to

Have to leave Tucker Carlson’s cheesecake behind. I’ll save that for another day and I’m going to   go back out and brave the Russian cold winter and  we’re going to head on over to the Metro now to

Go and see what he saw and the beauty of Kyiv  Railway Station and metro station to get over   to the train station from the restaurant where  the easiest ways to walk through the shopping   Shing Center and this is the main Atrium here  at europ pisy shopping center and they’ve got

This humongous waterfall that drops from  the ceiling and plays music intermittently   and it’s pretty impressive to stand under it  from this lower level right here now if you’ve   watched the three different videos that Tucker  Carlson made he went to to a shopping center

And then went to a supermarket called Auchan. I’m still confused why he went to that one.  Where as in this shopping center there’s  Perekrestok right in front of me.  Why did he come to this supermarket and make  a video have a look at the food in here this

Is really really a nice store to come to they  actually have a popup food market right outside   the supermarket and and this is more commonly  known as a yamaka or some people might call   it a rynok but a yarmaka is basically a  popup store or series of stores like this.

I just noticed right in front of me here  this little stand with some imported goods   and I know that when he did his shopping at that  Supermarket he actually put some breakfast cereal   in and these are really very high prices and it’s  not something that Russians traditionally eat is

Breakfast cereal but I imagine for the time  that he was here in Russia he wanted to eat   something that he knows and he’s familiar with. I wonder if he actually bought any cavar to take   back to America with him they’ve got a nice  selection right here the very famous black

Caviar and then the one that I’ve really eaten the  most is this red caviar right here yakas are very   very popular in Russia and I don’t think there’s  a single person who’s from Russia or somewhere in

The world watching that hasn’t been to one and  you know had to decide on something to buy it’s   interesting they’ve got Coca-Cola right there  mixed in with all of the salamis there’s even   some Pepsi now I’m again I’m very curious why he  didn’t come to this super Market this is a Russian

Owned chain of supermarkets they all throughout  Russia there is literally thousands of Perry   cross supermarkets and if he’ had just walked 100  m from where he ate his cheeseburger he’ have been   right in this Supermarket I actually know this  Supermarket very well myself for a long time I

Come to this location it was very easy from where  I live to catch the train here and then going to   off from home I’d pop in and grab something for  dinner or even just something to eat while I’m

Out in Moscow and Perry cross dos are very nicely  arranged in the selection and assortment plenty   of choices almost too many choices that’s why you  always see people just staring at the different   fridges from time to time because they walk in  and just can’t side there isn’t an egg shortage

Never ending choices of cheese and again it’s  a matter of just deciding what might be your   favorite one or not nice Bakery they do a lot of  their Breads in house there’s a bakery in the back

Of this store it’s a little bit hard to see when  you fully walk around it more cheese there’s so   many any choices of them and then even the health  food aisle right here this store doesn’t have the   largest alcohol selection it’s got a nice little  Cove here under the escalators where they built

This little Nook of a section Tucker could  have come in got himself a bottle of Maker’s   Mark and plenty other choices of whiskies I was  actually looking for Jack Daniels before I came   down the aisle and I’ve spotted it right there so  he had a lot of choices that he could have bought

Right in this shop he could have even got fresh  bread right from the Tandoor here they make the   bread right in this Kil and then they put it right  for sale just in front of us just about 80 cents

For a nice fresh loaf of bread and he wouldn’t  have even had to leave the supermarket to have   lunch he could have come right into the cafe  here and relaxed you can buy all the food in

The supermarket and then eat it right here have  look at the lighting this is a supermarket Cafe   in the matter of 1 hour the sun has come out blue  skies are appearing and the Pavements are getting   cleaner by the minute as the Snowman melts and  I’m curious perhaps Tucker Carlson stayed here

At the Novatel because he made quite a bit of  content from right here where I’m standing.  We’re going to walk on inside the Metro here. The ladies are waving to the camera and we   want to go and see Kyivskya Metro station. The very famous blue line of the Moscow Metro.

Let’s get in inside and check it out I wonder if  he had his tryker card to get on the Metro we just   need to tap it right there and head on through  let’s go and have a look at this station and the

Platform which is really the part that I think a  lot of people like to see when they come to this   particular Metro station the one thing that is  difficult when you come to the Metro is trying to

Make a video and stay at everybody’s way because  people really are going somewhere and it’s always   polite just to not stand in everybody’s way have  a look at all the marble that makes up the walls

Of the station here it’s really quite something  now this is one of 300 stations here in Moscow so   there is a lot to choose from to come and make  videos in if anyone wants to see more of the

Moscow Metro let me know in the comments and I can  certainly film more videos like this there’s just   so much to cover a look at this Mosaic that wraps  all the way around this upper Lobby before we get

Down to the platform and these columns as well it  almost feels a little bit like you’re in Rome or   in Italy then of course the Metro is very well  known for its very deep stations and these long

Escalator rides you can see everybody coming up  on the opposite side there and then they’ll have   two three or four open depending on the time of  day and as we step off onto this Landing you’ve

Then got the option of splitting off to different  lines so we’ve got the blue line on the left over   there and then the Brown Line over here have a  look at this this plaster work I think is the

Best way to describe it now these metal fretwork. I can’t think of the words to describe it but it’s   very beautiful and down we go again one more  escalator and we’re right down to the lowest   level of this particular railway station with  three different lines intersecting the trains

Run at different depths underground of course  they can’t all run at the same depth so we’re   going now to this lowest possible depth and  as you step off the escalator you can then   choose one side or the other and all the other  intersecting stations that you can get off at to

Get another Metro and then this very nice station  here have a look at the chandeliers up here wonder   if that’s what they call them when they’re metal  and glass like that not too sure and then again

More artwork these are actually mosaics with the  little tiles that make them up and then each one   is a different scene or picture as we can just  hear one of the trains coming to the platform   now very very beautiful there’s around about 30  stations on the Moscow Metro that you’ve really

Got to come and see to believe and stand here you  know just how beautiful it is and how amazing it   is as everybody crosses over now as this train  just arrives I walk down the middle I’ll stay

At everybody’s way and at the very end of the  platform here there’s a very nice plaque talking   about the station and of course one of the very  famous leaders of the Soviet Union right there as

The next train turns up and everybody makes their  way off and then on to their next destination now   this is Saturday that I’m not here so this is not  in any way busy at all this is very quiet actually

It’s a little bit easier to film but you still  need to be polite and stay at a people’s way. The one rule of the Metro that you’ve got  to follow is always stand on the right hand

Side and then if you plan to walk the steps  you can go on the left you’ll see everybody   being a little bit less athletic today and  everybody’s on the right there’s the other   side everybody’s basically standing there an  occasional person hurtling down the steps to

Get to a train a little bit faster from here  we’re going to get on the Metro and actually   go to the station where is the shopping center  where Tucker Carlson actually shopped at Auchan.  We just need to change platforms and then we’ll be  there in literally a few minutes they always say

That Heroes don’t wear capes and very true in the  Moscow Metro it is absolutely Immaculate you’ll   barely find a piece of dirt on the ground and it’s  in no main put to the people like this lady and

The gentlemen that clean and keep this place as  pristine as it is the marble work continues here   on the other platform just the amount of work into  tiing this and you know building it you know the

Way they did so many years ago as we come on down  to the very well known Blue Line right here one   of the difficult things about filming in the Metro  of course is the sound and of course the frequency

Of the trains coming to the stations can make  it difficult to film easily now this particular   platform actually has two different lines that  come here you just have to make sure you don’t get   on the wrong blue colored line as everybody gets  off the previous train again and I just literally

Make my way through have a look at the marble work  on the floor again and these columns that make up   the station very very amazing as the train goes  by wow I literally ride the Metro every day here

In Moscow but it’s not until days like today where  you come to film and you take your time and have a   look at some things do you notice the beauty of  the Moscow Metro normally you just go in get on

The train go where you need to go and then get  off again but that’s why I’m just so happy and   enjoy making this video today we’ even managed  to get on one of the more modern trains as well

And this is got the full pass through so there’s  a lot more space particularly when it gets busy   if you’re not sure where you want to go there’s  a digital map USB charging theyve even got little

Benches that you can just lean against if you  don’t want sit down now this is actually really   nice today to film on the weekend because there’s  not as many people we even got the chairs that pop

Up here particularly in the rush hour it’s a lot  easier to fit more people on the train so to get   to the shopping center or to the supermarket just  got to make one more change of terain and we’ll

Be there couple more escalator rides and I’ll  be on the train and I’ll be in the supermarket.  It’s so interesting riding the escalators  in the Metro cuz even these are differently   designed depending on the station you’re in  and the lights that are on the pylons here

All slightly different it just makes riding the  Metro just that much more fun and interesting.  Welcome everybody to Gagarinsky Shopping Center. This is the exact Shopping Center where Tucker   Carlson came shopping at the Auchan  Supermarket or Hypermarket actually.  We’re going to get on inside to  warm up a little and check it out.

I do wonder though if Tucker  Carlson actually made this   walk over the street to get to the supermarket. You know, I’m one of the locals here and this is   the way we have to go inside the shopping center  exactly I want to go to the Ashan where he shopped

And we just have to get on inside those doors  right there and like everybody else going to the   same place I wonder if it’s like a Tucker Carlson  pilgrimage and everybody wants to go and walk in   his footsteps just like me they want to hello  hello everybody’s so happy I think they’re more

Happy to get inside and warm up I think what’s  the first thing we’re GRE with stars coffee this   possibly is a new location I’ve mentioned this  many times when of you see balloons outside of   business it means it’s newly opened and they would  have had some kind of a ribbon cutting ceremony

And possibly that’s a new stars coffee now this  particular shopping center is very much typical   for Moscow there is probably 100 shopping centers  like this across all of Moscow and then further   outside of Moscow to Moscow region nothing special  about it nothing unique about the shopping center

Of course it’s very big as they all are in Moscow  but are all the shops you can go to in another   shopping center you don’t have to come especially  to this one for a certain product and have a look   what’s right in front of us. Auchan.

Just in case anybody wants to know what  I’d like for my Birthday, Christmas or   whatever celebration it is. I want an S24 ultra from   this Samsung shop right here. I’m getting a little bit distracted

I wonder if Tucker was the same way when he first  walked in the shopping center maybe not but I had   to go on show you the Samsung store now I’m not  going to walk the entire shop because this place

Is massive we’re just going to do a bit of  a brief walk around the one thing I know he   pointed out was about the trolleys and you have  to use a coin to basically release them and then   you get your coin back afterwards you’ll see  people literally doing this they’re not paid

Actors they’re people taking shopping trolleys to  go shopping of course this is a little bit bigger   place than you know most normal supermarkets  in Moscow so it’s really necessary to get that   bigger basket look at all the beautiful flowers as  we walk in so many people are ready to see out the

Russian winter if you’ve never been to an Ashan  before or never heard of the brand of Supermarket   before this is huge this particular location  is two levels so the upstairs level is all   of the non food items and then downstairs on this  lower level ground floor is the main food part of

The shopping experience of Ashan these places can  get very very busy without even blinking you walk   in and instantly there is people everywhere of  course a lot of people want some fresh fruit and   vegetables and there’s plenty to choose from you  can get them packaged up or you can literally pick

Your own and all of this is by weight of course  and then you have to find the scales and weigh   it out yourself and then you don’t have to worry  about what amount you get then you can choose one

Item or bags and bags of them Mandarin one of  the seasonal items right now almost the end of   the season there’s still a few here wherever you  are in the world please let me know how you buy

Carrots do you buy them washed like this it would  be 70 cents us per kilo or would you buy them   unwashed like this of course you dig through and  find the good ones and give them a good rinse when

You get home and they’re only 20 cents a kilo. It’s a third cheaper if you’re willing to take   them home and give them a good wash this was one  of the things that Tucker Carlson wanted to show

Everybody was the bread section perhaps he wanted  to show the selection of bread and the amount of   choices or maybe how cheap it was compared to  where he lives in America I think a lot of the   video that he did coming to the supermarket  was to point out the difference in pricing

Between between America and Russia and even if  you compensate for the cost of living you know   it’s much cheaper for bread here you can get a  fairly classic loaf of bread here for 50 cents

You can get a little bit smaller one here for  35 cents you have a lot of choices the reason   why they become so inexpensive in here is they  do all the baking in house it’s very busy here

So literally all of the bread is done behind the  scenes here and they’ve got non-stop Round the   Clock baking right in their own kitchens and  that way then you can get yourself a 30 cent

Loaf of bread or maybe like a buet down here I  think is only 33 cents for a bugget I think it’s   probably hard to tell how busy it is in here  here in this particular Supermarket this is a   two-level supermarket remember there’s a whole  entire level upstairs and just how many people

Are in here shopping and again I’m trying to be  polite to everybody and not get in their way it’s   a little bit hard sometimes anybody like cabbage  very popular in Russia 24 cents a kilo probably

A good 2 kilos maybe in the bigger ones right  here so I’m just going to highlight just a couple   of items in this store I’m not going to walk the  entire shop I think by now you’ve already watched

A fairly long video so I’ll try to be a little  more efficient walking around this if you’d like   to see a standalone and Ashan video please let me  know in the comments and I can easily come back to

This location I know this area very well I’ve been  to this particular Ashan hundreds of times before   one of the other things I saw him holding on to  are some bananas and there is some challenges at   the moment with getting bananas into Russia these  ones are actually from Ecuador which is where all

Of Russia’s bananas are coming from but they’re  definitely a little bit higher in price at the   moment a $1.30 a kilo they really should be only  about 80 to 100 rubles a kilo so that’s always

You know a sign that there’s some challenges with  the importing of them to Russia right now so if   you think shopping at your local supermarket is  hard try coming to Auchan and trying to get in

And out in a reasonable time I’m standing here by  Isle 42 there’s a couple more aisles from where I   originally walked in and just the sheer amount of  choices that you’ve got to go through to find a

Certain item or something that you want and you  can see is how far down the store goes and how   popular this place is now there is some housing  in this nearby area I’m curious how many people

Driv in a car here versus take public transport  this is very well connected with the metro and   the Overland trains and a lot of buses even tram  stop right outside as well more cheesers which we   saw in the other supermarket and why did Tucker  Carlson come to this particular Supermarket.

I really am curious to know why. Just for a second I want you to have   a look at the amount of choices of oats and  porridge and different types of cereals there   are on this aisle and how many choices different  brands it keeps on going and there is of course a

Lot of specul about what Tucker Carlson had in  his basket and what items he purchased and he   came all the way down to this spot and he grabbed  some boxed breakfast cereal which is probably the   most uncommonly eaten item by kids and children  and adults in Russia and he grabbed a couple of

These boxes and that’s what he took with him I  have had lots of comments from people particularly   in England that they’ve got a tea shortage  and of course there was a lot of talk about   egg shortages in Russia going back last month  and I just thought I’d show here the aisle of

Teas it’s basically two sides that you can choose  there probably about 250 or more types of tea of   course there’s lots of different brand Brands and  then different flavors and the choices for me are   endless and we have an entire cupboard of teas  in our apartment my wife almost finds a new one

Every time we come to the store it’s not expensive  to BU a small box of them and have a new flavor   looks like there’s no problems with delivery  either they’ve got a whole pallet of stuff   ready to go out more choices on the right here  and then I think these are drinking chocolates

On the left so definitely no tea shortages  in Russia and I’m sorry England if you’re   watching we have a few if you want to borrow some  just let me know I’ll send you a pallet over to   Heathrow Airport let’s have a look at the eggs  more than enough eggs and they’ve actually got

Pallets of eggs up the top here in backstock  they’ve got so many of them there is so many   choices of eggs I always get a bit overwhelmed  when I come my wife tells me buy a box of eggs.

There’s so many choices a fairly classic box here  for $1.10 this is for 10 eggs they have them in   10 20s and 30s in Russia so there is plenty of  choices of them it’s just a matter of which one

You want here’s the other classic box for less  than $1 for a box of 10 eggs now of course you   can buy different sizes um different ways that the  eggs are produced and the prices fluctuate I like

To just look at the cheapest one because that’s  the one I normally walk in and walk out with so   let me know in the country you’re from what you’re  paying for a box of eggs when Tucker Carlson went

To pay for his shopping he showed the receipt and  it was right about 10,000 rubles or just about   $100 and he said that in the US what he purchased  would be closer to $400 if you were to compare

Dollar for dollar and it would be four times the  price and now I can see how easily it is to spend   10,000 rubles in here now I don’t think my wife  and I have ever spent that much when we’ve come

Shopping in a supermarket even we would come to a  place like this but it’s pretty easy based on how   many choices there are how easily your shopping  bill would add up because there’s just so many   things to choose from here it’s almost endless  one of the reasons I don’t really love coming

To aan is really is because of the sheer size of  it and the fact that it just take so long to do   shopping I’m more than happy to go to the globous  Hypermarket which is a little bit closer to my

House than this place is and I know the layout of  the store very well and it’s definitely not two   levels so I have to never get a second level if  I need to buy more things than what was already

Downstairs here so the brand Ashan that we’re  in right here if you’re not aware is actually   a French owned supermarket chain or actually a  hypermarket chain and of course part of the reason   I showed Perry cross earlier in the video is  because that’s a russian-owned supermarket it was

Literally across the street from the train station  and where he had his Burger why did he come all   the way to this particular Supermarket maybe the  people he was with wanted to show him the broad

Selection of things and how big the supermarkets  are here or all the choices he can buy I’m not   sure if anyone knows why he came to this store  versus a more local russian-owned store please   let me know in the comments I’m very curious  this is the upstairs level and this is an area

Where is almost compared to an Asda or a Walmart  and all of the non food items you can literally   buy anything for yourself or for your house or  for your pet or for your car here there is aisle

After aisle of products that will suit everybody  now is it everybody’s favorite shop in Russia?  I’d probably say not. It’s obviously a certain shopper who prefers   Auchan over other supermarkets so let me know as  well if you’re maybe from Russia have you shopped

At an Ashan before so I trying to navigate my way  out of Ashan I really hope you’ve enjoyed this   video today from way back at Kyiv Railway Station  and walking in the steps of Tucker Carlson here

In Moscow all of the places I went to I’ve been to  before they’re all very familiar places to me it’s   not something I had to go Google or search and you  know discover somewhere I’ve not been to in Moscow

If you like the video give give it a thumbs up  that would be really nice and post a comment I did   ask quite a lot of questions throughout the whole  video so maybe something is of interest to you

That you might want to talk about in the comments  if you want to join me on telegram to have a chat   I’ve got a telegram channel that you can click  right here and if you want to see an older video

Perhaps something you haven’t seen on the channel  click the link right here it’s going to come up   now and I’m going to find my way out of here. Bye everybody.

  1. Russian subway looks like the NY subway minus the smell of human waste, 25 years of grime , trash , frolicking musicians and occasional mental patient let loose from the sanitarium. Other than that, it’s about the same. 😂

  2. I can now buy 24 eggs for 2.79 USD at Costco , a membership warehouse store. Whereas if I go to a premium store it’s 5.79 for 18 eggs , all the same cage free quality. During the pandemic , the egg frenzy was inflated and remains to be as you can see

  3. Russian people seem so nice, so chill and Moscow looks beautiful! Thanks for sharing these videos

  4. Wow! That are really beautiful metro stations!! All metro stations stinkin dirty over here in The Netherlands..

  5. OF COURSE he went to that store. Knowing we would be FLABBERGASTED having NOTHING like it in all of America. Yes the mall exterior from the beginning of your video is beautiful. Significant to me is the American style advertising casinos in lights. I complain about this in our New Jersey shore on the boardwalk where you used to be able to walk next to the ocean in peace but NOW they put up giant "billboards" of flashing lights and ads. What do I see in the restaurant? A GENTLEMAN wearing a suit and ID tag supervising. In America you'd easily see criminals and lunatics running around punching people and destroying property for no reason. Of course you have a homogenous PEACEFUL population. Not culturally screwed up. That 1st supermarket is very beautiful more beautiful than any in Florida, NJ or PA and that French one NOWHERE IN AMERICA. And both are remarkable. CLEAN, LARGE AISLES and fully stocked variety. Carlson's critics claim "OH BUT no REAL Russians shop in stores like that". As if this is all fake and nobody shops here they just stay open in case Tucker Carlson shows up??? What you call shopping center looks like what we call a "mall" and ours are all dead and empty and about to be repurposed. Nice job America! Also I'm surprised nobody is paranoid you're filming them!

  6. Бегал по метро более 60 лет. По всем станциям хотя бы раз. И живу на синей ветке. Теперь не пенсии проеду и пройду по метро как по музею. Неспеша. Спасибо!

  7. Hello! The police did not ask this man for a document, if he were an Uzbek-Kyrgyz, he would have looked down on him, most Russians are Nazis, I am a witness to this. I love you, America.

  8. Most of the world now looks up to Russia because the west has become degenerate.

  9. Рассел, спасибо вам! Как обычно очень интересно и познавательно (даже для жителя Петербурга, который был в Москве не раз :)). Я учу английский благодаря вам. Обращаю внимание на конструкции, интересные фразы. Спасибо!

  10. That security gentleman at "Vkusno i Tochka" was very interested what you're doing there. 🙂 I personally not a big fan of fast food, but I can eat in McDonalds if neccesery. I prefer to have hamburger with cappucino, because it's hot and sweet. Never knew why people eat burgers with cola.

  13. Thanks for the video, sir. Joe Biden must be feeling jealous of Russia because there seems to be no shortages because of the sanctions. Russia is paving the way for the rest of the world. Sanctions mean nothing if you prepare well just in case the USA sanctions your country.
Russia is very functional despite sanctions, thanks to mr. Putin and the Russian leadership.

  14. Tucker probably went there and bought what he did to give the closest comparison to the US. I live in a town with only 6k people and even our grocery store is pretty big. We also have places like Costco that make that Russian store look like a tiny market.
