【ホテル宿泊記】1泊2食付きでも安い!熱海でおすすめのホテル『熱海 金城館』 熱海 / ホテル紹介
Nice to meet you, I’m Yusuke from Yusuke’s Travel. This time we will stay at a super cost-effective hotel in Atami! This CH will introduce hotels with good cost performance and slightly luxurious hotels. If you like domestic travel and hotel stays, please subscribe to our channel!
A wallet-friendly hotel for one night and two meals…I’m sure you’re all interested, too! We will announce the price at the end of the video, so please watch until the end. There is also a footbath that you can freely use in front of Atami Station. Many people were using it!
This is where we will be visiting this time.Take the hotel shuttle bus from the station. Please check the official website for the latest information on the shuttle bus.
If you make a reservation in advance, there is also a direct bus from Ikebukuro or Ueno for 3,300 yen round trip. If you are visiting from Tokyo, you may want to consider it! Along the way, we also visited the Oedo Onsen Monogatari hotel. I would like to visit you here soon.
We also passed by the Atami Itogawa Cherry Blossom Festival spot. I was very happy that the driver took the smart decision to drive slowly. Just like that, we arrived at the hotel! Atami Kinjokan is operated by Itoen Hotels. I will stay here for one night.
A long-established luxury hotel originally opened in 1933. You can feel it from the exterior. This is the front entrance. It has a great appearance. Let’s go inside right away! This is the entrance hall. As someone who was born in the Showa era, I can’t stand the retro Showa atmosphere.
Please check in immediately. Since we arrived early, we had to wait until 3pm to receive the keys. There is also a yukata next to the reception. Bring your favorite pattern from here. Receive the key and head to the room you were assigned this time.
We will be staying at “Goyo building”, which is the top building in Atami Kinjokan! Water was flowing at the foot of the entrance of the building, and goldfish were swimming. The sound of water is soothing. Elevator hall on the 1st floor of Goyo building. The atmosphere is great.
We arrived at the second floor. Where is my room? This is room 125, which was assigned to me. This is a 10 tatami Japanese style room. The key is an insert type. This kind of place is also nice and retro. Now, let’s enter the room!
I entered the room. You can see the Japanese-style room in the back. I can’t help but be curious, so let’s move on! This is a 10 tatami Japanese style room at Goyo building. It’s spacious enough and looks comfortable. At Itoen Hotels, futons are laid out from the beginning.
Check out the view from your room! I wonder what it’s like, I’m so excited! The hotel’s garden was spread out below. I would like to introduce the garden later. There is a mini table and two one-person sofas on the wide veranda. A Dyson humidifying air purifier has also been installed from the beginning.
Let’s go back to the main room and take a look at this closet. This was a closet. There were enough hangers, and there were enough hangers for each person. There is also a safe. It’s small, so it’s perfect for small items like wallets and keys.
Valuables bag on top of the safe. So retro…! On the shelf next to the closet are insecticide vape and a light stand. There was an electric kettle on the bottom shelf. Next, let’s take a look at this closet. It contained extra bedding and extra chairs.
On the other side of the closet, there is a space where you can relax and spend time around a table. There’s a TV and something else on the wall! Yukata obi, hotel information, bath towel, and hand towel.
Internet is available in guest rooms at Itoen Hotels! Wi-Fi speed is fast enough for downloading at 105Mbps and uploading at 138Mbps! The TV is made by Sharp. It was not compatible with smart TV.
This is your room key. There’s only one room per room, so it’s a bit inconvenient if there are more than 2 people. Free green tea bags and wet wipes. Sakura shrimp rice crackers and jari bean rich cheese served with tea. Both were delicious ♪ TV remote control.
A mirror stand with a magnificent full-length mirror. Tissue box and in-room telephone on the dressing table. It’s a dial type, so it’s retro. There was also a trash can next to the dressing table. Let’s take a look around the entrance of the room.
It’s a type with bright carpet laid on the step and a raised stile. Here is the location of this room. It looks like there are only 6 rooms on each floor. On top of the shoe rack are shoehorns and disinfectant deodorant spray.
Slippers for indoor use. The catchphrase of Itoen Hotels is “Life is a Journey”. In the next room, there is a shelf where you can store small items and a refrigerator. A cup was prepared in the shelf. There’s also a bottle opener. Above the refrigerator there is information about pots and ice makers.
2 door refrigerator. The upper shelf was a freezer. There is an ice cream vending machine in the lobby, so you can use it. There is a knob for controlling the air conditioner on the wall. It was a difficult type with no choice of air conditioning or heating.
Lastly, the water area. From here on the left as soon as you enter the next room. When I opened the door… it was a restroom. It’s a nice space with just the right amount of space. There is no particular smell, and it feels clean and GOOD! Panasonic washlet.
Slippers for the bathroom. Do you sometimes find yourself leaving the restroom with your shoes on? toilet paper. Eco type to be replaced after use. I have two in stock, so I don’t think there will be any problems. Then, is this the door where the washroom or bathroom is?
As expected, it was a washroom. The washroom was also a good size and was well kept and felt clean. A towel rack at your feet. This is a must-have item for a hot spring hotel! Chairs are also available. This is convenient when using a hair dryer.
The only amenities are a toothbrush set and a folding hairbrush. Panasonic hair dryer. There are also two cups in pre-cleaned bags. Hand soap and hand towels. Just seeing it in the packaging gives me a little sense of security. Is there a bathroom behind the patterned frosted glass door?
It was the bathroom. The beige colored walls make the room look bright overall. The bathtub is a deep type. I can’t seem to stretch my legs. The shower head is very simple. A mirror that is tall enough that you can stand up without any problems.
The bathroom amenities are from Futaba Chemical’s Wabitabi series. There is also a bathtub and bath chair. Well, there is a large public bath, so you won’t be able to take a bath in your room. Before introducing the hotel facilities, I would like to introduce some recommended ramen!
“Amakara Honpo” is located about 3 minutes walk from Atami Station! It’s a very small restaurant with only 6 seats at the counter, but it’s a popular restaurant with long lines! The lineup includes various types of ramen with soy sauce, salt, and miso, fried rice, and green onion chashu rice bowl.
After lining up for quite some time, I was finally able to enter the store. There are various things such as garlic and pepper on the table. I ordered soy sauce ramen! It’s 750 yen including tax. It had a strong taste, but it wasn’t overpowering and it was very delicious!
Half fried rice. The price is 300 yen, 100 yen off, only from 11:00 to 15:00. This is also very delicious! I hope to be able to introduce gourmet food around the hotel in this way! We will introduce the facilities within the hotel.
The one you can see on your left is the reception. Even when it’s crowded, they will guide you quickly. It was also decorated with beautiful flowers. This is the lounge space on the lobby floor of the main building.
A microwave oven that can be used freely. There’s also a vending machine in the back. All were alcoholic drinks. The hotel price is a bit high. ice server. It seems that ice buckets can be borrowed at the front desk. There is also a shop near the yukata corner.
The best-selling rankings of the shops are also introduced. Please use this as a reference♪ This is the best-selling Sakura shrimp rice cracker! It’s definitely delicious! Hot spring steamed buns. I like Japanese sweets, so I would like to buy some next time I go!
It’s typical of a shop at a hot spring inn, and the great thing about it is that it carries a lot of souvenirs. There are vending machines and a smoking room next to the store. There is also an ice cream vending machine here.
I came out to the garden. The Goyokan building is visible in front. The cherry blossoms were also blooming beautifully. An artificial waterfall falling from the top of a building. It’s quite impressive! The sound is amazing too! The pond that runs through the garden is home to many goldfish and carp. There is also a pool available only during the summer. It’s a beautiful garden, so there were many people relaxing there at any time of the day. Now, let’s go back inside the building.
Head up the stairs of the main building to the first floor. This guide map was given to us at check-in. On the landing of the stairs, there was a picture frame with Goyokan written on it. Director Kurosawa welcomed us (the Atami trip episode was fun!)
List of Itoen Hotels. 50 locations throughout Japan. I would like to conquer them! Elevator hall on the 1st floor of the main building. Vending machines are also installed. The first floor of the main building is connected to the East Building and Goyo building. There is a karaoke room right next to the passageway.
Any guest can use it for free by making a reservation at the front desk! Karaoke DAM’s LIVE DAM was installed. There is also a private karaoke room on the 4th floor of the main building. Reservations are also required.
There is also a table tennis space on the 3rd floor of the main building. I wanted to use it this time, but it was fully booked. There is also a mahjong room. Please note that this is an advance reservation. Well, when it comes to hot spring inns, it’s definitely hot springs!
Atami Kinjokan is home to Atami Onsen’s Atami No. 210 hot spring. A slightly alkaline chloride hot spring containing sodium and calcium. It is smooth to the touch. There is an after-bath area right next to the large public bath. The restroom is also on your left.
This is the indoor bath. A golden shachihoko welcomes you. The water temperature is around 40 degrees, making it easy to get into the water.
This is the open-air bath. It’s not as big as the indoor bath, but the temperature of the water is calm and there’s fresh air, so it’s easy to take a long bath.
Towels must be brought from your room. There are no special carrying baskets, so it might be easier to bring something like an eco bag. This is inside the after-bath area. I think the massage chair was 200 yen for 15 minutes.
A foot pressure point massage machine found in hot spring inns. This is available for free. So of course I used it! When it comes to hot springs, it comes down to milk and coffee milk! There were also soft drinks and water servers. A Mentos game machine and many capsule toy machines.
I tried it! Win 7! ! It was 4…disappointing. This is the game corner. Showa era game machine Rock, Paper, Scissors Man! Well…Pon! Zuko! (3 consecutive losses) I played Street Fighter 2 for the first time in a while. I haven’t been able to input commands since I was in high school lol.
Don’t wait up! It’s time for the buffet dinner! The venue is on the 9th floor of the main building. Quickly set up the buffet table. First of all, here. Miso soup, curry, white rice. Drink corner. Tea, hot coffee, and soft drink servers. I personally recommend Minute Maid’s carbonated orange juice!
Hana no Mai is a sake brewer from Shizuoka Prefecture. Junmaishu, Ginjo Hana Label, Honjozo Tsuu. We also had highballs and lemon sour! Wine is red and white. Asahi Super Dry beer server. Alcohol is also free, so people who like alcohol will be happy!
Let’s also take a look at warm side dishes. Beef sukiyaki hotpot, giblets stew. Savory egg custard. There was also plenty of ginkgo. This is tempura soup, grated radish, grated ginger, and salt.
At this time, we were holding the “Special Kushiten Fair”! It’s packed with shrimp, green onions, quail eggs, bacon, chicken thighs, squid, and oysters! Sashimi corner. Sweet shrimp, salmon, squid, and albacore tuna were lined up. Fried oysters are irresistible for those who love them.
Fried chicken that you can eat as much as you want. Takoyaki. It’s delicious, so I want you to try it! Sushi corner. There were 5 types of shrimp, yellowfin tuna, salmon, squid, and tuna!
Tempura corner. Megochi, sweet potato, and shrimp were lined up. Of course, we also have tempura sauce, ginger, grated radish, and matcha salt. Fried rice. It would be nice to have it! Yellowtail radish. The soba noodles
Look delicious and have a lot of flavor . Mentsuyu is available both hot and cold. It was delicious! ramen. The soup is soy sauce based. The green onion chashu is a nice accent! The introductions don’t stop! We still have warm side dishes! Sweet and sour pork, meat gratin.
Mabo tofu. Since there are a lot of children, it is not made to be spicy. Tandoori-style marinated grilled chicken thighs. Personally, I really like this! Beef stew with beef belly block. There was also an ice milk bar! If you look over there from that ice cream spot… there’s still a line up.
The fruits are lychee and pineapple. Pineapple makes me happy! Sweets include petit cream puffs, roll cakes, and chocolate cakes. The pudding and the absolutely delicious berry berry toast! Salad corner. I love onion slices, so I’m glad they have them♪ There are 4 types of dressing, including mayonnaise.
Cold side dishes. Chinese-style ohitashi with edamame, enoki mushrooms, and Chinese cabbage. Ohitashi with moroheiya and okra, pickled flounder in nanban. The lineup was roast pork. Here are the meals we received. Everything was really delicious!
What was surprising was the petit cream puff. I was imagining a common one, but the cream inside was really cold! I also received a second flight. Thanks for the meal! I went outside for a night walk.
Atami city is crowded with tourists and cars during the day, but at night it has a calm atmosphere. There were hardly any people I passed on the way to my destination. There were a lot of people gathered around our destination!
The venue of the Atami Itogawa Cherry Blossom Festival seen from the bus on the way there! I came to see the cherry blossoms illuminated at night. In the background of the night cherry blossoms is the Atami New Fujiya Hotel, also part of the Itoen Resort.
It was beautifully lit up, decorated with lanterns, and had a great atmosphere! Now, let’s go back to the hotel, get some rest, and get ready for breakfast! Good morning! I’m heading to the breakfast venue! We arrived a little early. It will be in the same location as the dinner buffet venue.
In exchange for the breakfast ticket, I received a meal card! I’ll eat as much as I can for 60 minutes! Now, let me introduce you to breakfast as well! First of all, thick fried egg, kamaboko, and hot spring egg. Kiriboshi radish, hijiki, kinpira burdock, and spicy konnyaku.
This steamer contained Shumai. The moment I opened the steamer, the steam was extremely hot. Miso soup and shimiji soup. My favorite natto and flavored seaweed. Matsumae pickles, name mushrooms, chopped okra, grated radish, sesame kelp. Dried horse mackerel, grilled mackerel. There was also cold tofu. One of my personal recommendations is corn soup.
This white chewy bread is Mako-chan’s favorite♪ There was also soft French bread with butter and jam in between. German potatoes and scrambled eggs. Both are delicious! This sauce yakisoba is also delicious. White meat fries, french fries. All my favorites! Sweet and delicious meat dumplings. Next to it is coarsely ground sausage.
Udon noodles were lined up in the morning. Like soba, mentsuyu is available both hot and cold. White rice and porridge were also available. Salad section. Instead of potato salad, there is macaroni salad and bologna sausage. The dressing is the same as for dinner. Fruits are grapefruit ruby and tropical fruits.
There’s also yogurt next to it. I personally like mixing it with tropical fruits! Orange juice and milk. There are also cornflakes next to the milk. There is no alcohol, but soft drinks are still available. The breakfast side dish I brought. Everything was really delicious!
I thought the breakfast was amazing with a wide variety of items! Thank you for the meal! Thank you for the meal! Unfortunately, it was time to check out. How was Atami Kinjokan? This is a wonderful hot spring inn where you can enjoy the hot springs while feeling the retro Showa era atmosphere!
Looks like there will be more opportunities to visit hot spring inns this year…! I’m sure everyone has different tastes when it comes to food, but personally, I’m very satisfied with the taste and volume! As expected from Itoen Hotels! Now, it’s time to announce the prices you’re curious about…!
The total cost was 24,126 yen, including Saturday stay and 1 night with 2 meals, made through Yahoo! Travel. It’s about 12,000 yen per person! The cost performance is too good! When I checked out, I also asked for the stamp rally that I had checked on the official website!
If you stay 20 nights in a year, you will get one night and half board for free! What a nice service! Thank you for watching until the end! I hope this helps you choose a hotel or makes you feel like you’re actually there.
Please let us know in the comments which hotels you are interested in! I’ll use it as a reference! ! Please come back for the next video! This was a Yusuke’s Travel!
We hope that this information will be of some help to you in choosing a hotel. It would be very encouraging if you could subscribe to the channel, like, notification, and share it with your friends! We will continue to introduce hotels with good cost performance, hot spring inns, and slightly luxurious hotels that cost around 30,000 yen per person per night and one meal, so please come back next time.
