The metro works great and you can buy a card using a machine. 90-minute ticket: U$ 1.5 and the 24-hour ticket: U$ 4.8 We are at the Port of Piraeus, at ~15 minutes by metro from city center. It really worth the visit and the views. You won’t find many tourist here
