【ホテル宿泊記】フォションホテル京都｜日本初！パリ発祥の大人がときめく世界観を堪能する｜女ひとり旅
I stayed at “Fauchon Hotel Kyoto” this time. Luxury hotel by “Fauchon” of France. Opened in Kyoto in 2021 10 minutes by taxi from Kyoto Station and within 10 minutes walk from Gion and Shijo-Kawaramachi I have always wanted to stay at this hotel, so I am very much looking forward to it!
When you open the door, the first thing that jumps in front of you is this grand staircase Stylish and chic interior with pink, white, black and gold colors You’ll feel like you’ve just stepped into a Paris
The design of the building is a fusion of Paris and Kyoto, with cherry blossoms and other Japanese design elements everywhere. We are going to the reception on the top 10 floors. A space filled with Fauchon’s world view A space that is “cute” but chic and mature Welcome drink is Fauchon tea and macaroons
Japanese traditional beauty blended in the cute space without any sense of discomfort. I sip my tea thinking, “Who did this amazing design?” Grabbing the stylish room key, I head to my room. There are 5 room types, this time I will stay in Deluxe Room. How cute..!
The design differs by room type, and I chose the room I thought was the cutest The fabric of the sofa in the foreground is Nishijin brocade. I wonder if gold or silver threads are used, it looks sparkling when you look at it.
The bed board was made by one of the most famous kimono designers in Japan The design has not been neglected. Fauchon pink here too Here’s what it looks like from the bed This pink closet-like thing is curious, isn’t it? Let’s open it up right away. It’s a gourmet bar, a Fauchon specialty✨
All the Fauchon pastries inside are free! You can take home any sweets you can’t finish during your stay Unfinished sweets can be brought back in original eco-bag You can also buy them at Fauchon’s store on the first floor of the hotel. It was just right for handing out as souvenirs

Inside the cute pink box is a Dyson dryer I turn on the humidifier and take a break I have a cup of Fauchon tea and cookies right away. （Tasty…!) Now it’s time for dinner Gorgeous space to enjoy the night view of Kyoto Champagne first.
The first dish is a soup using white corn “pearl corn”. Very sweet🌽 Instead of couscous, it is made with finely chopped cauliflower Delightful texture Second glass of Chardonnay White wine goes well I finished the white wine, so I asked for red wine
It is so soft that you can eat it with a spoon. I was in the mood for a delicious meal, so I added cheese And finally, dessert I also had a cup of Fauchon tea. Gochisosama The atmosphere changes at night I request basic cosmetics I moisturize well and go to bed💤
I’m hungry because I took a walk around Kiyomizu-dera early in the morning. Yogurt with fresh fruit and seasonal salad Bread is brought freshly baked Eggs can be omelette/scrambled eggs/sunnyside/poached eggs. Accompaniments: bacon, potatoes, sausage Let’s eat with sauce I enjoyed breakfast in an elegant mood.
Check-out time is 12:00, so you can take a rest in your room. After check-out, I stopped by the store on the first floor of the hotel. Facing Kawaramachi-dori, it is easy to stop by even for non-guests. Chic and cute, Fauchon’s world view The traditional beauty of Japan is scattered
