This is a new brand store from [Gion Tsujiri] that opened in October 2023! [Gion Tsujiri] is a long-established Uji tea shop founded in 1860. I’m curious about a new brand from such a long-established store! So, let’s go in! Cute butter sandwiches are lined up.

The appearance is completely new, something I’ve never seen before (lol). The inside of the store is stylish and has an eat-in space! A set of bubble sandwiches, Gyokuro Garlic Shibazuke and Japanese black tea. Bread mixed with tea and plenty of Gyokuro soy butter. And what’s more, it’s topped with Shibazuke.

The visual impact is amazing! It’s innovative (lol). The saltiness of pickled vegetables and the Western-style garlic-flavored cream go together wonders! This is a carefully calculated deliciousness that will make you addicted! [Gion Tsujiri] The brand is difficult to understand, so we recommend it as a hidden gem!

Ah, yogurt is good because it’s in the morning…although I don’t usually eat it in the morning (lol). The store is long in the back, typical of Kyoto! And although it’s spacious in the back, it’s almost full. Oh, I’m glad it was empty.

As expected, eating cold yogurt outside in the middle of winter is a punishment (lol). Berry yogurt & berry granola. I found out later that it was fat-free yogurt! Thank you (laughs). Lately, my body fat has been slowly increasing, which is a cause for concern (crying).

Before I knew it, I had become a gourmet YouTuber (lol). This is a very serious problem! Even though I’m at an age where I’m concerned about lifestyle-related diseases, it’s like I’m running backwards (bitter smile). But this one has just the right amount of sweetness from the berries and is delicious!

The interior of the store has a natural feel and is comfortable. Compared to the other 4 stores, it seems easier to secure a seat, so I recommend it! Next is [La maison JOUVAUD] located on B1 of JR Kyoto Isetan. This is a patisserie with its main store in Tokyo.

There is also a shop in Gion, and the cakes and baked goods were delicious, so I came here for lunch. The store is popular for its stylish atmosphere. I arrived around 11 o’clock, so I was able to sit at a table. I’m so happy!

I’ve always looked at it from the outside, and I’ve always wanted to go inside, so I’m looking forward to it! [Quiche plate] is a [seasonal quiche] with three kinds of mushrooms, chestnuts, and cheese. The drink is a cafe latte. that? Was the quiche this soft?
