Ref Kyoto Hachijoguchi by Vessel Hotels 1 night 2 day stay report. Kyoto Station. Today I am staying at Ref Kyoto Hachijoguchi. I’m coming to Kyoto Station. The brand is REF. It comes from the words Regional, Experience, and Flexible. I’m looking forward to seeing what kind of hotel it is (^^).

As for the location of the hotel. It’s about a 3 minute walk from this area. Now let’s head to the hotel! . The hotel is now in sight! . Arrived at the hotel.

Ref Kyoto Hachijo Exit by Vessel Hotels 3 minutes walk from JR Kyoto Station Hachijo Exit Total number of rooms: 124 Parking available (charges apply). It’s a parking lot. There is space for 3 cars (one for the disabled). The fee is 1500 yen/night and you can take it in and out as you like.

There is also a separate affiliated parking lot. Now let’s go inside the hotel. The farthest corner is the reception. There is a lounge here that can also be used as a breakfast venue. The back right corner is a BAR. And as an effort to disseminate traditional crafts.

Traditional crafts from Kyoto are on display. There is a spacious space opposite the lounge. There is a large map on the wall with the hotel in the center. On the shelf below were various materials related to Kyoto. Stylish art works are exhibited here. There was also a computer corner.

There is also a corner with free drinks. There are juices and cold tea available. Choose tea leaves. You can also make hot tea. Various tea cups! . It was also easy to understand how to make delicious tea. You can also use paper cups to take them back to your room.

The tea was refreshing and delicious (^^). There was a terrace seat outside. Then I’ll head to my room. Amenities are placed in the elevator hall. We will explain the details in your room. The elevator has security. Arrive at your room. Enter the room. Standard twin room size: 17.2-19.3㎡ Capacity: 1-2 adults.

Let’s go inside. The atmosphere of the room is simple and modern. It was a room where you could feel the warmth of wood (^^). There were two beds in the middle of the room, but I didn’t feel cramped. The room had a high ceiling.

The interior resembles a single flower vase, giving it a sophisticated Japanese atmosphere. The air conditioning was of the type that allowed you to adjust the temperature to your liking. This is the view from this room. I was lucky enough to be able to see Kyoto Station from this room (^^).

The windows are also large! . I could see the Shinkansen clearly (^^). Windows can be opened as much as possible to exchange air. From here, I will explain the room in more detail. Equipment introduction. I will return to the entrance and introduce you to the facilities.

As soon as you enter the entrance, there is a full-length mirror that allows you to see your whole body. There was a shoehorn under it. Shoe shine was available in the lobby amenity corner. Next to it is a space to hang clothes. There were slippers underneath. And next to it.

There is a baggage rack. There was a large writing desk. The chair looks stylish. On the desk. There is a deodorizing spray made by Shimizu Kaori. A tabletop mirror is also available. There are also switches and wired LAN ports. When you turn on the switch, the downlight will turn on.

You can also store your luggage under the bed. It looks like you can also store suitcases. There were also memo sets and tissues. It’s TV though. When you turn on the power, the hotel’s homepage will appear. Information on rental items. You can get information about the hotel. You can also watch VOD.

You can watch terrestrial digital and BS TV broadcasts. As for the speed of free WIFI. It can be used without stress at 140Mbps. Upload speed was 71Mbps. There is a storage space under the desk. There is a hair dryer. The hair dryer was a Panasonic Ionity. Underneath is a nightwear.

When you unfold it, it’s a separate type. The material is smooth. The size was also roomy. There is a drawer next to it. When I opened it. Balmuda hot water pot. There were mugs and glass cups. In the amenity corner of the lobby. Hojicha and Sencha are available.

The width is 120 cm, so it’s a semi-double size and spacious ( ¨̮ ). It’s a pillow. It is reversible. There is a cotton side and a pipe side. The comforter is of standard thickness. The surface of the bed is covered with a bed pad and is soft.

When you remove the bed pad. It has a fluffy mattress. When you remove the mattress. Simmons pocket coil mattress. The lighter parts of the body sink shallower and the heavier parts sink deeper. By maintaining a comfortable sleeping position, I was able to sleep well until morning.

The hotel was very particular about the bedding. There is a table between the two beds. On top of that are the light controls. There was an AC power supply and a USB outlet. There was also a space for reading lights and small items. Introducing the water system. Next is the water area.

This room was in the form of a unit bath. There is a large mirror on the bathroom counter. on top of the wash basin. There was a cup and soap that could be used for face washing and shaving. The amenities in the lobby. Toothbrushing set, body towel. Cotton swabs, hair brushes, razors.

Makeup remover, emulsion. Lotion, face wash. Lotion and hair pack for men. It was a fulfilling experience with bath salts (^^). Bath towels and face towels are also provided. And the bathtub. Large and spacious. I was able to stretch my legs and enter. The vertical width is approximately 138 cm, which is quite wide.

The depth was 55 cm. It was also nice that the bathtub had a railing. What are the facilities in the bathtub? There is a hand shower. There is also a shower curtain. Shampoos are made by POLA. It was the Shower Break series. Last but not least is the toilet.

First, there are two shrimp. This is Shishamo. It also came with a special chawanmushi (^^). Mr. Hageten’s clothes are thinner.

The oil is a unique blend of sesame oil and cottonseed salad oil. Then came the eggplant, sweet potato, and chikuwa. So much for fried food. The clothing is so thin that you can see the material through it. I was lucky with the cooking on this day.

When freshly fried, it’s piping hot, crispy, and delicious (^^). The faintly fragrant sesame oil was nice ( ¨̮ ). Freshly fried tempura is delicious (^^). I’m back at the hotel. If you look closely, you can see that there is art work in the lounge as well. The tea was delicious.

I’m back in my room. I’m going to sleep with this today. good morning. I’m going to go have breakfast now. The breakfast venue is on the 1st floor. Breakfast is a buffet, so let’s take a look (^^). The theme of this hotel is “wrapping.” Rolls are also available.

You can make a variety of sushi to your liking. It also includes instructions on how to make it. This is a customer experience menu. This area is the salad corner. There are various variations (^^). Since this photo was taken in summer, the menu has changed slightly ^_^;.

There is also a wrapped series of sweets. Wrapped sweets also have a variety of ingredients (^^). Wrap it using crepe dough. The miso soup uses Saikyo miso, which is typical of Kyoto. There was also some Western food. There are also pickles and natto. There is soy sauce for sushi.

It was from Matsuno Shoyu, a long-established Kyoto soy sauce company. Now on to the wrapping ingredients. We also have sweet shrimp and conger eel. Drinks and bread were placed in this zone. There’s coffee. We also have tea from Yanagisakuen Chaho. It’s also nice that you can use Kyoto ware teacups (^^).

Bread is placed next to it. Milk and orange juice are also available. I’ve taken a lot of things! . With side dishes such as grilled pork with ginger. I made wrapped sushi, but I’m clumsy so the shape is bad (><). Standard dishes such as tamagoyaki and grilled fish. Chilled udon with okra and grains. Saikyo miso potage minestrone. Pickles. And it is an ingredient of "wrapped sushi". Wrapped sushi has many variations in toppings. I also enjoyed choosing the ingredients (^^). There was also a sandwich base for wrapping. The combination of sunchu and tuna was also surprisingly delicious. I made a few. Once I got used to it, I was able to make it well (^^). The Saikyo Miso Potage Minestrone was full of delicious ingredients (^^). I got dessert! . "Wrapped sweets" wrapped in crepe dough. Gateau chocolate, mini roll. Warabi mochi, croissant. And Gyokuro from Yanagisakuen Tea Shop. Kyoto ware tea cups will double the deliciousness. This one is made with Gyuhi crepe fabric. It is a rice cake-like dough made from a combination of mochi flour and other ingredients. I recommend the matcha flavor (^^). If the weather is nice, it would be nice to eat on the terrace (¨̮). At the end, we finished with hot coffee. The "wrapping" experience series was fun (^^). It's almost time to check out. How was it. The hotel has a bright atmosphere. The space had a casual feel and was comfortable. The room is very comfortable. The bedding was good and the bed was comfortable (^^). The free drinks are also particular about Kyoto-style tea. Art works are also on display. I was able to relax and spend time in the lounge ( ¨̮ ). Breakfast is also a ``wrapping'' experience that I have never experienced before. It was a fun breakfast (^^).   1. 八条口から近いのと部屋からの景観が私にとってポイントが高いです!大浴場がないのですね?部屋も少し小さめで個人的ですが 部屋に入った時のわぁーっ❤という感動がないかなぁと。
