【神社仏閣ひとり旅】徳島県人気御朱印巡り3選[御朱印500名印(No.231~233)]

This is Masaharu Goshuin Travel. My first trip in 2024 is a Seishun 18 Kippu trip. I will head to Tokushima with the remaining two trips from my previous trip to Mie. It’s been a long time since I was a student that I was aiming to go beyond Kobe with 18 tickets.

This is my first challenge in 30 years. I was worried about whether my stamina would last… On the way, Mt. Fuji made a beautiful appearance and cheered me on. It’s a long journey, so if you miss even one train, there’s a chance you won’t arrive…

But I like looking out the train window, so it’s surprisingly fun. At Toyohashi Station, I had plenty of time to change trains, so I had some shimen on the premises! When your stomach is full, you become sleepy. I woke up once around Nagoya, but I almost fell asleep.

Arrived at Ogaki. I also stop at the restroom on a planned basis. I feel like the temperature has dropped a little around Ogaki. It was snowing a little when we passed around Sekigahara. From Maibara, the company will change to JR West.

Take the special rapid train to Himeji, passing through Kyoto, Osaka, and Kobe. At Himeji, I had some time to transfer, so I stopped at a convenience store. However, the next train was so crowded that I couldn’t eat any rice balls… I had to change trains frequently around here.

The train bound for Okayama was empty and I was able to eat onigiri! From Okayama Station, you can finally transfer to the train that crosses Seto Ohashi Bridge. However, it was pitch black outside and I couldn’t see anything…but I entered Shikoku. And the last train. To Tokushima. It was a one-car train.

16 hours and 27 minutes from Tokyo Station. We arrived at Tokushima Station safely. I ate gyudon at Matsuya in front of Tokushima Station and headed to today’s inn, Toyoko Inn. This time I will stay at this hotel for 2 consecutive nights. The usual safe room.

As accommodation fees continue to rise, the reasonably priced Toyoko Inn is a great help. We left the hotel early the next morning. I decided to aim for the “Ryozanji”. However, there was no suitable train from Tokushima Station to the nearest Bando Station, so

I decided to take a bus to Itano Station, which is two stations away, and then return to Bando Station from there! However, this strategy turned out to be a huge failure…I got stuck in traffic in the city and the delays continued to add up, and

I arrived at Itano Station Minami bus stop more than 20 minutes late… I boarded the 8:41 train bound for Tokushima. I wanted to, but it’s already past. To get to the station, take this underground passage and cross the railroad tracks. At the end of the underpass, turn right.

Arrived at Itano Station. It was a manned station. Next time is 9:39. The limited express doesn’t stop at Bando, so you lose an hour… I switch, buy a ticket, and board the train. So, I decided to give up on “Ryozanji Temple” and head for “Manahiko Shrine.”

The nearest station is Bando Station. This was an unmanned station. “Kannabihiko Shrine” is 2.0km away from here. Proceed along the road in front of the station, turn right at the end, and immediately turn left. Then you will reach a prefectural road, so cross at the traffic light.

After that, continue along the riverside road that splits off from the prefectural road. Then, follow the information board of the shrine and turn left at this T-junction. Turn right at the end and you will soon reach the shrine. It was a walk of less than 30 minutes. Arrived at “Kannabihiko Shrine”.

“Cannabis Hiko Shrine” is pronounced “Ohasahiko Jinja” and is the Ichinomiya shrine in Awa Province. The deities enshrined are “Kannabihiko Okami” and “Sarutahiko Okami.” “Kanabihiko Okami” is the god of the great ancestor who pioneered Awa Province. “Sarutahiko Okami” is the god who served as a guide when the descendants of heaven descended.

When you go up the first stone steps, you will see the “Chozuya” on your right. Stop by and purify yourself before worshiping at the shrine. Furthermore, there is a sacred tree called Camphor tree on top of the stone steps. The tree is estimated to be over 1000 years old.

The tree height is said to reach 22m. It’s big. The exact date of the establishment of “Kannabihiko Shrine” is unknown. However, there are still mentions of the shrine in books from the early Heian period. At least 1100 years ago, it existed as a representative shrine.

The shrine came into view. The current building was rebuilt in 1970. The guardian dog in front of the shrine has big eyes and a distinctive expression. We put our hands together in front of the shrine, expressed our gratitude, and prayed for world peace and fewer disasters.

Next, I took a walk around the grounds from the right side of the shrine to the back. At the back of the worship hall is the “main hall” where the god is actually enshrined. The main shrine was built in 1880.

There were several shrines in the precincts of the “main shrine,” so I greeted them. Toyouke Shrine is dedicated to Toyouke Okami, the god who rules over food. “Yama Shrine” is enshrined to “Oyama Hakumo no Kami,” the god who governs mountains.

“Nakamiya Shrine.” The shrine building uses old materials from the Jingu Shikinen Sengu Outer Shrine. Behind it are the “Kagamiike Pond” and “Meganebashi”. It was made by German prisoners of war in 1919. It was built in hopes of people returning home from the Far East.

Nearby is the distant worship place of the inner shrine “Mine Shrine” located at the top of Mt. Marijuana. There is a torii gate on the left of Meganebashi. There is a further path to the shrine. There is also an information board for “German Bridge”.

I decided to bow in front of the torii gate and move on. On the way there is a wisteria trellis called “Lipstick Wisteria”. I would like to visit it sometime during the flowering season. And “German Bridge”. This one was also built in 1919.

It was built by German POWs using locally available Izumi sandstone. In addition, it seems that German culture, such as the methods of making butter and cheese, was also introduced. A torii gate and long stone steps ahead of “German Bridge”. I bowed in front of the torii gate and went up the stone steps.

The stone steps are longer than I expected. There also appears to be a series of red torii gates at the top of the stone steps. At the top of the stone steps, there seem to be shrines on the left and right sides. First, go to the shrine on the right.

“Maruyama Shrine” is the enshrined deity. The shrine on the left is Maruyama Inari Shrine, the god of business prosperity. The deity enshrined is “Kuraina Tamakami”. The series of torii gates is mysterious. Next, return to the shrine building and go through the forest on the right to reach Kanda.

By the way, if you follow this road for 1 to 2 hours, you will reach Okumiya. I arrived at Kanda right away. When spring comes, it’s rice planting. When I returned to the “Chozuya” I discovered Hakuba’s “Sacred Horse.” Also, “Nishinomiya Shrine” is on the way to the parking lot on the west side.

Behind the shrine office was a quiet “water shrine”. Now, this is the “Indigo Ink Goshuin” that I received on the day. The mount is handmade Japanese paper and feels nice to the touch. He also included an explanation of the “Aizumi Goshuin.” Thank you.

Well, after visiting the shrine, I was going to return to the station on the same road, but since the road that continues straight looks like the approach to the shrine, I decided to walk to the prefectural road. On the way, I said hello to the guardian dog.

Then, a large red torii gate appeared. This was rebuilt in 2002. Height of 14.6m. On the right side of the torii gate, there seems to be a subsidiary shrine called “Tenjin Shrine”. Tenjin Shrine is dedicated to the god of learning, Michizane Sugawara.

Nearby is the No Shrine, which is enshrined to the god of agriculture, Shikaehime no Mikoto. After leaving “Kannabihiko Shrine”, we headed to “Tokushima Bizan Tenjin Shrine”. Before you get to the prefectural road, Ryozenji Temple will be on your left. I’ll stop by next time!

Then, on the prefectural road, there is a bus stop for Ryozenji Temple. However, there was no bus at the right time. Walk to Bando Station. Turn right at this traffic light. We arrived at Bando Station safely. Although the station was unmanned, there was a ticket vending machine.

Take the train bound for Tokushima. It’s one every 1-2 hours, so you need to be careful. Tokushima is one of the production areas of lotus roots. Is this a lotus root field? I returned to Tokushima Station. I decided to have lunch first.

When you exit Tokushima Station, it’s on the right-hand side. There is a popular ramen shop on the west side. Arrived. This is Donoura station store. Sea bream salt ramen is popular. It was a little after noon, so I went in without waiting.

Let’s have a daily lunch together (today’s dish, mini salad, and side dish)! This is “sea bream salt ramen”. Crispy sea bream skin tempura on noodles! Mini salad and chicken nanban on this day? And this is 15-grain rice as a replacement meal. Add the noodles to the finished soup.

You can taste the flavor of sea bream again. It was delicious. The goshuin tour has resumed. Return to Tokushima Station and walk straight ahead. On the way, you will cross the Shinmachi River. The name of the bridge is also Shinmachi Bridge. Then I saw the Awa Odori Kaikan in front of me.

“Tokushima Bizan Tenjin Shrine” will be immediately to the left of Awa Odori Kaikan. It is a relatively new shrine, having been founded in 1809. Since it is a Tenjin shrine, the deity enshrined is the god of learning, Michizane Sugawara.

Once you reach the top of the stone steps, you will see the worship hall directly beyond the red torii gate. A pair of guardian dogs welcome you at the top of the stone steps. There is a chozuya on the left side of the stone steps, so stop by.

It is often decorated with flowers and other decorations. Before joining hands at the shrine, we wash our hands with water. The shrine building was destroyed in the war. The current shrine building was rebuilt in 1974. Flowers were decorated in front of the shrine and it was soothing.

Now, we put our hands together in front of the shrine to express our gratitude and pray for world peace and for fewer disasters. There was a statue of the enshrined deity, Michizane Sugawara, in the precincts. Also nearby is the Cow of Wisdom. The more you rub, the more wisdom you will gain.

There are also several shrines on the left side of the shrine. This is “Bizan Inari Shrine”. Prosperity in business and good luck with money! Next to it is “Kunin Daimyojin”. It is said to bring about success in your wishes, prosperity in business, and blessings on entrance exams.

Himemiya Shrine is located on the south side of the precincts. It is a popular shrine for praying for marriage and safe childbirth. There are heart-shaped stepping stones on the approach, so try to find them. At the end of the approach, you can see the torii gate of Himemiya Shrine.

There is a large rock in front of the torii gate. It is revered as “one of Japan’s most miraculous rock”. There was a small couple rock next to it. Also, “Fudezuka” and “Harizuka.” By the way, there are many benches where you can take a break in the temple grounds. I’ll help you.

It was a nice precinct with a relaxing and relaxed atmosphere. And this is the “January 2020 Limited Goshuin” that I received on the day. Check the shrine’s official Instagram for the latest goshuin information! After “Tokushima Bizan Tenjin Shrine”, head to “Oji Shrine”.

Turn right at the Shinmachibashi 2-chome traffic light in front of you. Then, there is a bus stop in front of the ropeway, so take the bus from there. From here, take the train bound for [6] Ichihara. 1 or 2 bottles per hour.

On rare occasions, there will be a bus bound for Bunka no Mori, in which case I will take the bus to Sonosebashi bus stop. 17 minutes walk from Ichihara bus stop. If you can get to Sonosebashi bus stop, it is a 9 minute walk.

After getting off at Ichihara, continue walking south and turn diagonally to the left at the traffic light in front of the dentist. Then you will see an embankment in front of you, so go up to the prefectural road above it. It will rise while twisting.

Then, there was a guide to “Oji Shrine”. Walk left at this traffic light. We will cross the Sonosegawa River at Bunka no Mori Bridge. Ahead is Tokushima Bunka-no-Mori General Park. After crossing the bridge and walking a short distance, you will see stone stairs on your right in front of the Tokushima Prefectural Library.

The deity enshrined at Oji Shrine is Amatsu Hikone no Mikoto. Furthermore, “Omatsu Daimyojin” and “Otama Daimyojin” are enshrined here. “Oji Shrine” is also called “Nekogami-san”. It dates back to the “Awa Cat Riot” 300 years ago. Omatsu-san, the village headman’s daughter, was executed for a crime she was innocent of, but

Before that, she told her beloved cat, Otama, to take revenge. Then, it is said that the people who blamed Omatsu were cursed one after another. Therefore, the spirits of Matsu and Otama were enshrined here. While thinking about this history, I expressed my gratitude and prayed for world peace and for fewer disasters.

By the way, candles and incense sticks were prepared just like in a temple. I took the opportunity to place a candle inside the shrine. “Omatsu Daimyojin” and “Otama Daimyojin” are located at the back left of the shrine building. Here are each shrine and the “Cat Memorial Hall.”

Before that, I also gave them some incense sticks. Also, next to the “Cat Memorial Hall” is a “Wish Fulfillment Rubbing Cat”. I pray by rubbing my head if I want to pass the exam, or by rubbing my hands if I want to pass the exam.

By the way, the “main shrine” where the god is actually enshrined is located at the back of the worship hall. At the back of the “main shrine” was the “Ora worship place,” which is close to the gods.

There are toys and other toys in the precincts, and children can be seen playing with them. It was a shrine with a gentle and relaxing atmosphere. On the day of the event, we received the “Monthly Goshuin for January 2020”.

Check the shrine’s official Instagram for the latest information and dates and times when the awarding office will be closed! After visiting Oji Shrine, this tour of Tokushima Goshuin stamps came to an end.

On this day, I went to Toyoko Inn in front of Tokushima Station. This time, cross the Bunka no Mori Bridge and turn left. Walk west along the embankment to the intersection where it intersects with the national highway. After crossing this signal, turn right. Go in the opposite direction of the river.

Then we arrived at the Sonosebashi bus stop. There are 1 to 3 buses bound for Tokushima Station per hour. There are several types depending on the route. To get to my next destination, a cafe, I got off at Ryogokubashi, but

Please note that depending on the bus system, the route you take will vary and the bus stop you get off at will vary. This time, after getting off at Ryogokubashi bus stop, turn left at the traffic light in front of Ryogokubashi.

Turn left just before Shinmachibashi Higashi Park and you will arrive at your destination cafe. A shop that sells domestic wheat and homemade natural yeast bread. This time we used the cafe. Order the “Sweets Plate” limited to 14:00-16:30. Today’s cake + bread pudding + milk gelato + drink set.

My body was tired from walking. I want to try the bread next time too! Now, after leaving the cafe, I crossed Shinmachi Bridge to Tokushima Station. We went to Wadanoya, a long-established Japanese confectionery shop located inside the station building.

Awa specialty “Taki no Yakimochi”. It was presented at the time of the construction of Tokushima Castle in 1585. Red bean paste is wrapped in a skin made of stone-ground rice flour and glutinous rice flour, and then baked to give it a fragrant aroma.

Also served with sweet potatoes made with the local brand “Naruto Kintoki”. Flavors with a history of 400 years and modern sweets. Both had an elegant taste. The next morning, I will take the last Seishun 18 ticket and return to Ikebukuro.

Tokushima Station early in the morning. From here, you will continue to transfer to local trains. Going to Takamatsu in the morning. 4 cars are empty. Get some sleep. However, as we entered Kagawa Prefecture, it gradually became crowded. Arrived at Takamatsu Station. Next, transfer to the train bound for Okayama.

This train will cross Seto Ohashi Bridge. It was pitch dark on the way there, but I was able to enjoy the scenery on the way back. Arrived at Okayama Station. Head to Banshu Ako with a short transfer time! I barely made it in. Dangerous, dangerous.

Arrived at Banshu Ako. From here, we will finally enter the Kansai area. First, take the local train bound for Himeji. Arrived at Himeji Station. I had a little time, so I went to the restroom and a convenience store to get some food. From Himeji Station, take the special rapid train to Maibara.

Find a free time and have lunch. When we arrived at Maibara, it was a little cool. JR West ends here. Transfer to the JR Tokai train bound for Ogaki. Near Sekigahara. The snow that was on the way had disappeared.

Arrived at Ogaki Station. After a 4-minute transfer, you can board the special rapid train bound for Toyohashi. The new rapid train is convenient, isn’t it? We will quickly move up the Tokaido route. Arrived at Toyohashi. I still have some time, so I went to the bathroom just in case.

Take the train bound for Hamamatsu. Last day of 18 Ticket. All trains were crowded. We will pass by Lake Hamana and head towards Hamamatsu. The transfer time at Hamamatsu is just over 20 minutes. Fill your stomach with some udon noodles inside the station. Next, board the train bound for Atami.

I finally arrived at the familiar station. Arrived at Atami. And the familiar JR East trains. Finally, transfer to the Shinjuku Shonan Line at Kozu. We arrived at Ikebukuro around 10pm. Thank you for watching until the end. Please be sure to subscribe to the channel and give us a high rating!
