ホテルのある、釜石市は、東日本大震災の津波で壊滅的な被害に遭いました。
このホテルは、東日本大震災が発生した4年後に開業しましたが
今日まで、復興を支援する人の拠点として
観光で復興を支援する人の拠点として、利用されてきました。
震災の復興を後押ししてきたホテルの一つです。

チェックイン、チェックアウトの手続きをしていただいたスタッフさんの
丁寧で、暖かさのある応対に、感銘しました。
人の優しさを実感した滞在となりました。
