新春おでかけ京阪奈1dayパスで 奈良・京都・大阪を日帰りで旅してみた。

“Misato’s Journey LOG” begins. hello everyone. This is Misato. This is Yamatoyagi Station on the Kintetsu line. It was just before 6am, and the area in front of the station was empty. Today, I’m going to go to Nara, Kyoto, and Osaka using Kintetsu’s free pass

Called the New Year Odekake Keihanna 1-day Pass, which was valid during the year-end and New Year holidays. Please subscribe to the channel. Then, go inside the ticket gate. The first ride is the Yamato Yagi 5:56 train bound for Kashihara Jingumae. By the way, as it says on the ticket, this ticket

Allows you unlimited rides on Kintetsu trains within Osaka, Kyoto, and Nara prefectures for one day. The validity period is until January 8th, which is shorter than the Seishun 18 Kippu, so I used it before the 5th day of the Seishun 18 Kippu. So, I departed from Yamato Yagi Station.

Kashihara-Jingumae Station is 3 stations away from Yamato Yagi, about 5 minutes away. I have 27 minutes until the next train, so I get off the train. This day is January 3rd, but as you can see at 6am.

It is the nearest station to Kashihara Shrine, which is dedicated to the first Emperor Jimmu, and is crowded with visitors during the day and during the New Year. And so the next train I boarded, a local train bound for Yoshino, arrived. The train departed from Kashihara Jingu-mae at 6:28.

It was still dark outside before dawn, but it became clear outside around Fukujin Station, 22 minutes from Kashihara Jingu-mae. Then, in front of Shimoichiguchi Station, I was able to see the sunrise in the area where I could see the Yoshino River. Rokuta Station is 2 stops from Shimoichiguchi Station.

Three limited express trains were on standby at the Rokuda garage near the station . Then, I mistook the limited express bound for Osaka Abenobashi. When you exit Yamato-Kamiichi Station, you will cross the iron bridge over the Yoshino River. There is a speed limit of 40km/h on this bridge, so please drive slowly.

Then, in 48 minutes from Kashihara Jingu-mae, you will arrive at the final stop, Yoshino Station. It’s early in the morning and there’s no one else here except me. Our destination in Yoshino is Kinpusenji Temple. Walk from Yoshino Station. There is a ropeway a short walk from the station, but

Since it is early for the first time of the ropeway, I decided to walk up Mt. Yoshino. There is a shortcut on foot next to Senbonguchi Station, which is the station at the foot of the ropeway, and you can go up there. The stairs can be quite steep.

Although the distance is longer, it may be easier to take the road. As you climb the stairs, you can already see Yoshino Station in the distance. As I climbed further up, I heard the sound of a train, so I looked and saw that the

16000 series limited express that had been at the Rokuda depot earlier had been sent to Yoshino and was about to depart for Osaka Abenobashi. After a 25-minute walk from Yoshino Station, we arrived at Ohashi, which is close to Yoshinoyama Station. There is also a free rest area here, so

Those who came up on foot can take a break. By the way, this red bridge is said to have been the site of a fierce battle during the period of the Northern and Southern Courts, when Emperor Go-Daigo’s prince Oto no Miya fought against 60,000 Shogunate troops with only 3,000 soldiers.

A sign nearby said it lasted for a week . A short walk from Ohashi is Yoshinoyama Ropeway Station. We will ride the ropeway on the way back. After passing through the black gate of Kinpusen-ji Temple and walking for a while past the Kane no Torii gate,

You will see the covered Nio-mon Gate (Nio-mon Gate) of Kinpusen-ji Temple, which is under construction. This is what Niomon looked like before construction. Going around from the south side, we arrived at Kinpusenji Temple. Kinpusen-ji Temple is said to have been founded by Enno Ozunu, who is said to be the founder of Shugendo.

The principal image, Kongo Zao Daigongen, is normally closed to the public, but you can visit it during the special opening period of the hidden Buddha. This time, we visited Zao-do Hall and prayed for the victims of the Noto Peninsula earthquake to be able to quickly return to their normal lives .

Please note that photography is prohibited inside Zao-do Hall, so there is no video footage. By the way, the ticket I used this time, the New Year Odekake Keihanna 1-day pass, came with a New Year’s visit bonus voucher, and at Kinpusen-ji Temple, I was able to draw an omikuji that contained a lucky charm

. The result of the fortune is Daikichi. However, I was told to think about things calmly and carefully. Yes, I understand. This year, I will think carefully before I act. After visiting Kinpusen-ji Temple, I headed back to Yoshino Station. Descend by ropeway from Yoshinoyama Station. Purchase a ticket and board the train.

It takes 3 minutes to get to Senbonguchi Station. From Yoshino Station, a limited express bound for Osaka Abenobashi was waiting for us at 9:34, so we boarded it. This is the 16600 series of Ace on the Minami-Osaka Line. 39 minutes on the comfortable seats of the express train. Transfer at Kashihara-Jingumae Station.

However, I arrived at 10:13am and was heading to Kyoto next, but since I had about 50 minutes until the next train, I took the time to observe the people visiting Kashihara Shrine. A temporary ticket gate was also open.

The next limited express to board is the one bound for Kyoto that leaves exactly at 11:00, but I arrived at the train line more than 20 minutes early and boarded the train. This is Vista Car’s top number. We had lunch here while waiting for our train to depart.

This is persimmon leaf sushi purchased at Kashihara-Jingumae Station. Contains 3 types: mackerel, salmon, and sea bream. Since it was the third day of the month, the express train was full, so I had to eat early so I could eat before the next customer arrived

. The persimmon leaf sushi was very delicious and you could enjoy three different flavors. The train departs from Kashihara Jingu-mae at 11am and takes 57 minutes. Arrived at Kyoto Station at 11:57. Next, transfer to JR and take the 12:13 train bound for Kameoka on the Sagano Line. This is a mixed train of 221 series and 223 series bound for Kameoka. Get off at Umekoji Kyoto Nishi Station, the next station in Kyoto. yes. The main attraction in Kyoto is the Kyoto Railway Museum. When I entered the museum, I was worried that the ticket office would be crowded, so I bought an electronic ticket from Asoview in advance and was able to enter easily.

As soon as you enter, you’ll see a C62 steam locomotive, the original 80 series Shonan train, and the 0 series Shinkansen. Type 20 without the dining car of the 20 series Blue Train. You can enjoy the sold lunch boxes on board.

I won’t be using it this time since I’ve already had lunch, but it’s good. I’ll put you in the cab of the 0-series Shinkansen, but it might take a while, so I’ll come back later. When you enter the first floor of the main building,

You will see the 500 series Shinkansen, the Kuhane 581 sleeper train, and the Kuha 489, the lead car of the Japanese National Railways type limited express with a bonnet. The way it looks from the side is mesmerizing. By the way, the purpose of coming here this time

Was to go inside Kuhane 581 as a special exhibition in January, but it seems that it is only open to the public on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays, so today, January 3rd. I couldn’t get in 💦Since it was a special release in January,

I thought I’d be able to get in throughout January. . . I should have looked at the guide material a little more. Next, this is the Kiha 81 type used on the limited express Kuroshio. It seems to have been active until the west side of the Kisei Main Line was electrified.

This is the 100 series Shinkansen. This is JR West’s Shinkansen, known as the Grand Hikari , which has a V formation with four two-story cars connected . Unlike JR Tokai’s X and G formations, the first train is an electric car, and

There is an air intake on the skirt for cooling the main motor. When I was working part-time in car sales, I have only been on board once. I’ll never forget eating udon noodles in the dining car on the second floor after the restaurant had closed after passing through Shin-Yokohama on the inbound train

. By the way, the 117 series was also added to the exhibit vehicles. I feel nostalgic about the paintwork from the new Rapid City Liner era. Outside were some of the Twilight Express vehicles and the A-berth Orone 24. It seems that the interior of Orone 24 will be unveiled in March 2024.

Of course, it seems that it is only open on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays in March. It’s time to head to the driver’s seat of the 0 series Shinkansen. It feels like a rugged cab from the JNR era. You can also take a tour inside the train.

I used to ride the 0 series when I was working part-time in the car sales department, so I feel quite nostalgic about it. The buffet car on display seems to have slightly different specifications, as the one I was riding in was new and didn’t have chairs. I have fond memories of eating my

Packed lunch on the buffet train so it wouldn’t be seen from outside when I turned around at Tokyo Station . After this, when you go up to the second floor of the main building, you can see the 500 series, Kuhane 581, and Kuha 489 from above, which is a spectacular view.

As I headed toward the fan-shaped garage, I saw the SL Steam departing in propulsion mode, while the Shinkansen and Kansai Airport Limited Express Haruka passed by, giving me another spectacular view. The steam locomotives in the fan-shaped warehouse are decorated with national flags and dressed up a bit, probably because it’s New Year’s Day.

Additionally, next to the fan-shaped garage, a Red Train 50 series passenger car is set up as a rest area. Although it does not move, I think it is a rare opportunity to ride in a 50 series passenger car that is close to the original.

When I went to the second floor of the main building again, the driving simulator seemed to be very popular. Well, since time is limited, it’s time to head to the next destination. From Umekoji Kyoto Nishi Station, which is the same as the one for the station, take the Sagano Line to Kyoto Station. From Kyoto Station, I boarded the Kintetsu Limited Express Vista Car for the second time today. I went to Kyoto in a one-story Vista car, but this time I had an upper-floor seat.

From Kyoto, it takes 29 minutes to get to Yamato Saidaiji Station. Next, we headed towards Osaka. This is Hinotori, bound for Osaka Namba, departing at 16:09. The ride takes just under 30 minutes, but you can enjoy the comfort of the ride alone.

Even for regular seats, a separate Hinotori regular fare is required, and an additional 100 yen is charged from Yamato Saidaiji to Osaka Uehonmachi. After passing through the Ikoma Tunnel, I was hoping for a sunset view of Osaka from near Ishikiri, but it was a shame as the weather was cloudy.

However, I could see all the buildings in Osaka city. Arrived at Uehonmachi, Osaka at 16:37. At this point, exit the ticket gate and board the bus that connects Uehonmachi and Abeno Harukas. Previously, this channel introduced it as a 100 yen bus, but the price had been raised to 120 yen.

We arrived at Abeno Harukas a few minutes late during the busy evening hours . Today in Osaka, the reason I came to Abeno is Harukas. Although it is no longer the tallest in Japan, it is still 300m high. The sun is setting now, and the night view should be beautiful.

I bought an admission ticket and went through the ticket gate to the elevator. It takes just 45 seconds to get from the 16th floor where the ticket office is located to the 60th floor. The light effect on the wall is beautiful.

When I arrived at the 60th floor, a wonderful night view awaited me. It was my first time to see Harukas at night, and I was so impressed by how beautiful it was. Just below the north side of the outside is JR Tennoji Station.

When I zoomed in, I could also see Tsutenkaku and Osaka Castle. Directly below on the east side, Kintetsu Osaka Abenobashi Station could be seen, and the Series 21 train was leaving. There was also an event that combined night views and projection mapping , which added to the

Beautiful night view with an even more magical atmosphere. An interesting experiment with projection mapping on the floor. Anyway, the night view was beautiful and I thought it was worth the 1800 yen. The observation deck area is an atrium, and you can see the sky garden below.

Let’s go down to the 58th floor of the sky garden. There was Abeno Bear. This is also a wonderful space. It’s not a place you come to alone (lol). They also have a warm kotatsu, where you can enjoy oden, hotpot, shabu-shabu, etc.

By the way, there is no ceiling here, so it’s the same as outside. Winter is cold. So, I enjoyed the night view from 300m above the ground and went down. This is the 16th floor, where there is a ticket office, but there is also a hanging garden. The illumination was beautiful here too.

It was so beautiful that I almost forgot the time and took pictures. I thoroughly enjoyed the night view and left Harukas. I took the Osaka Loop Line and came to Tsuruhashi. It was around 7pm and I was hungry so I decided to have dinner. Speaking of Tsuruhashi, it is Yakiniku.

Yakiniku Meigetsu ABC Lunch is located near the station . I had a set meal with three types of meatballs. The thick and large ribs, skirt steak, and loin meat are very filling. I was told that the small bowl of eggs is eaten by dipping grilled meat in it, similar to sukiyaki.

Whenever I came to the station in the evening, I was always drawn to the smell of yakiniku, and when I tried it, it was actually really delicious. Thank you for the meal. Today is the day I went to Kinpusenji Temple in Yoshino, Nara Prefecture.

In Kyoto, I visited the Kyoto Railway Museum, and in Osaka, I walked and took photos at Harukas, which is 300 meters above the ground, so I think the yakiniku was the perfect way to end the trip. The free pass itself costs 1,600 yen, and

I think we were able to enjoy the day to the fullest. It would be nice to have a ticket like this even at times other than the year-end and New Year holidays. Well, that’s all for this video. Thank you very much for watching until the end this time.

Thank you for subscribing to our channel. I would be happy if you could rate it as well.
