SUB【ホテル宿泊記】徹底紹介!圧巻のロビー空間と沢山のアートに包まれる超オススメホテル『THE BASICS FUKUOKA』 / 福岡 / ホテル紹介

Thank you for watching. I came to Hakata, Fukuoka. This time I will visit this flag hotel. THE BASICS FUKUOKA is located about 7 minutes walk from Hakata Station. This columnar building is very distinctive. Click here for access from the station. When I actually walked there, it felt closer than I expected.

Originally this hotel was called Hyatt Regency Fukuoka, but the contract with Hyatt will end in 2019 and it will open under its current name in 2020. Attracted by the scenery that will unfold from now on, I will definitely stay at this hotel! I had decided.

The first thing you see when you enter the hotel is the lobby space! I would like to introduce it again later, but I was drawn to this space…! Complete the procedure at the check-in machine. The staff explained various things to us. This hotel also offers benefits for Ikyu Diamond members. I’m just happy!

This time, I had requested the room I wanted to stay in the room type I had reserved, and although I did not get an upgrade, I got exactly what I requested! THE BASICS FUKUOKA has three categories of room types.

The concept is similar to the lobby library, as if you were reading a novel. Walk down the beautiful hallway and head to your room. This time I requested room 218. This is the room for Episode.6. Now, let’s go inside! I entered the room. First, let’s take a quick look around the entrance.

Light switch immediately to the left. A full-length mirror was installed in the back. Here is the location of the room. It seems to be a corner room. The DD card icon is cute. Let’s move into the room!

The inside of the room has a bed in the back and a living space in the front. Artboards like this are also simple and beautiful. There is a ceiling fan on the ceiling. What’s the view like from your room? I could see the hotel entrance, driveway, and restaurant.

There is a park in front of the hotel, so it seems like a good place to take a walk. I looked around the room from the back of the room. The bed is 150cm wide and is a Hollywood twin type.

On the wall next to the bed, many books and old books are displayed like art. There are two types of pillows. Choose the one that suits you. The bed was equipped with a mattress pad and futon, and the mattress was made by Nippon Bed.

Information for guests staying multiple nights and nightwear were placed on the bed. It was a separate type. If you are chubby, you may want to check to see if other sizes are available. TV made by Sharp. There is also a sound bar underneath.

I thought it was an unfamiliar TV remote control, but there was a QWERTY keyboard on the back! When you turn on the TV, the hotel menu will appear. Crowd conditions in restaurants and fitness rooms. You can also listen to lobby background music and other music on the TV.

YouTube, Abema, and Hulu are also available. When I entered the room and looked closely on my right, I saw that I could draw it. Inside is a spacious walk-in closet. Deodorizing and disinfecting spray with hotel logo. Of course, hangers are also provided.

On top of the chest are Panasonic irons, shoe horns, and brushes. When you open the top drawer of the chest, you’ll find a laundry bag with the hotel logo on it. Laundry service price list. The middle drawer was empty, and the bottom drawer contained a security box.

The indoor slippers were of the reusable type. Let’s take a look around the table in the living space. A stylishly designed stand light sits next to the sofa. There was also a humidifier at the feet. A sofa that can comfortably accommodate two adults. Cushions in warm colors.

A one-seat leather chair. It has a nice taste. Let’s take a look at the table as well. Introducing cheesecakes using Oreos. You can buy them at the lobby. Click here for the card key design. It’s simple. The ticket you received at check-in. Wi-Fi connection information is also written.

This is a breakfast ticket. I will introduce it in detail later, so please watch until the end. Various information was placed on the table in advance. Wi-Fi speed is honestly slow at 2Mbps download and 12Mbps upload. A lounge exclusively for episode and story type guests. I will also introduce this later.

Introducing the official app of Fukuoka Prefecture, which has restaurants with delicious alcohol and fish. Information about TAYA inside the hotel. TAYA’s head spa lineup. Mako-chan also loves the Kérastase Chronologist♡ This time, since she was staying for her birthday, she also received a message card! I also received a chocolate cookie.

That’s a nice surprise. I was very impressed! Next, let’s take a look around the bed. A stylish pendant light next to the bed. A side table is placed under the light. Knob for lighting the light. I couldn’t figure out the hole next to it from beginning to end lol.

There is also a USB port for charging on the side of the table. Above the headboard is a JBL Bluetooth speaker. There was a power outlet and a light switch almost in the center. Let’s take a look around this shelf where the refrigerator is. There was nothing special on the top shelf.

Air conditioner control panel and ceiling fan control knob. The telephone in the guest room is a smartphone. It’s high tech…! Let’s take a look inside the drawer. The left drawer contains glasses, mugs, etc. Mug with the hotel logo. This is also free mineral water with the hotel logo on it.

The tea bags are JAFTEA’s Darjeeling tea and Itoen’s green tea. In the right drawer are the illy box and stirrer. It contained two Illy potions. I think it was the first time that Illy was there! At the bottom of the potion was cream powder and sugar.

If you open the bottom drawer on the right side, you’ll see something inside. I’ll take it out. Bermuda electric kettle. It’s nice to have Bermuda around. This was an illy coffee maker. By the way, it was difficult to see the water tank (the water tank is at the bottom).

Inside this door was a Dometic refrigerator. It’s empty inside. I appreciate that it’s easy to carry. This time, we will take a look at the plumbing that made us request this room! The walls, which have a slightly inorganic feel, and the highly designed equipment add to the sense of luxury.

There is also a glass shelf on the left. It’s convenient for storing small items. A tall mirror with built-in lights. Villoley & Boch sink and Grohe faucet. It’s a beautiful combination. Two cups. Two COBIGELOW bar soaps are also available. Noritake is used for the soap dish. You can’t miss it!

On the right hand side, there is a light switch, an outlet, and a magnifying glass with a light. As I had requested, they also provided plenty of hand towels. In the drawer under the left sink are tissues and some kind of box.

When I took out the box and opened it, there were a lot of amenities inside! Sekkisei MYV skin care set. This makes me very happy…! hair band. The packaging is so stylish! A foldable hairbrush that combines a comb and a brush. A set of cotton swabs and cotton. T-shaped razor and shaving cream.

A set of toothbrush and toothpaste. The middle drawer was empty. When I opened the drawer under the right sink, there was a hair dryer inside. This is…Repronizer, which is said to be the highest quality hair dryer! This really makes your hair shiny, so please try using it! Mako-chan loves it too!

There were bath towels, body towels, and bath mats on the shelf under the sink. Inside this door in front of the washroom… A nice washroom with a slightly rustic feel, located on the same wall as the washroom. TOTO toilet with tankless washlet. Remote control and Grohe paper holder.

I definitely hope this is the room this time! I decided to request a bathroom. I feel like it’s quite unusual that the bathroom has lighting on two sides! I looked across the sink from the bathroom. The size of the washing area is luxurious! A bathtub where you can stretch your legs and relax.

Naturally, there is a rain shower, and the hand shower is also a water flow switching type. By the way, the water pressure in the shower is a little weak. The golden faucet is really stylish. The shower was made by Grohe, as was the sink. The bathroom racks are also unified in gold.

The shower faucet in the bathtub is also made by Grohe. There’s something on the rack near the bathtub. A mini bottle of COBIGELOW toiletries. Rose-scented bath salts made with Himalayan salt. This is a bathrobe. The fabric was not thick, so it was very easy to wear.

There is also a bath chair and a bath tub. Change the angle of the blinds and take a look at the view. It’s the street in front of the hotel. Depending on the angle, you may be able to see it from the rooms in the opposite building.

In either case, changing the direction of the blinds will make it this much brighter. It was so beautiful that I was able to take some portraits with it. I came to the lounge “NOMBRE” on the 1st floor of the hotel.

NOMBRE is a French word that means “number” or “a number that represents the page number of a document”. The name of the lounge fits the concept of the hotel. Let’s go inside right away. Inside the lounge, the seats are well spaced, creating a calm space.

There are a variety of snacks available, so I will introduce them to you. Nuts, gummies, brownies, macarons. This macaron was very delicious. There were also individually wrapped nuts and cookies. Water, carbonated water, soft drinks, etc. There were also some drinks lined up here.

A coffee maker using coffee beans from Takamura Wine & Coffee Roasters. ART OF TEA was available for tea. Tap marche. “Premium Rich Ale” and “Wednesday Neko” were available. Wine server. There are 3 types of red, 2 types of white, and 1 type of sake recommended by the hotel.

Let’s have some coffee right away. There are many different types. I made it to cafe au lait. The rich aroma of coffee will emerge, and the cafe au lait will gradually be completed. The lounge services will be as described. Here are the snacks I had. They are all delicious.

I was able to relax, so I would like to have a lounge on my next visit! Now, let’s explore the inside of the hotel. THE BASICS FUKUOKA is decorated with a lot of art and about 5,000 books.

Inside the circular lobby, there are books with the theme of spring, summer, fall, and winter, with the motif of “The Seventy-Two Seasons”. The outer area actually has famous works, photo albums, etc. from the continents, countries, and regions in that direction. Let’s take the elevator down to the first floor.

The colors inside the elevator are also unified. That’s what I’m particular about. There is also a foreign currency exchange machine on the first floor. Balmuda microwave oven. You can use it freely. Bookshelves on the outer periphery of the first floor. It is decorated with various books and photos.

Let’s take a look around the inside of the lobby again. This bookshelf seems to have a spring/summer/fall/winter theme. Christmas tree in the center of the lobby. At his feet is an object that resembles a present. That will be the reception counter. Oreo cakes were being sold next to the reception.

Introducing the lobby library. Recommended books for hotels are also introduced. There are tables and chairs placed around the inside, so you can relax. I came to the fitness room on the first floor. Security is perfect as you use your card key. I went inside. Let’s take a look around. Quite spacious!

There is a blood pressure monitor right next to the entrance. A water server is also installed next to the blood pressure monitor. A mat is spread out in the back left, and there are balance balls and stretching poles. Cardio is in the back on the right. Two upright bikes made by LifeFitness.

There are also two treadmills, also made by LifeFitness. The leg press targets the quadriceps as the main target. Lat pulldowns train the latissimus dorsi and teres major muscles. It’s the type where the left and right sides don’t work together. Chest press mainly trains the pectoral muscles. Both were made by LifeFitness.

I came outside. I will now head to Hakata Station for dinner. I came to Hakata Men Kaido, which is located in Hakata Deitos. That’s right, when you think of Hakata, you think of Hakata Ramen! (There are others as well)

Since this is my first time in Fukuoka, Mako-chan, who is from Fukuoka, chose this one for me. Ramen Jinanbou – Hakata Deitos branch. I’m really looking forward to seeing what it looks like! I made charred garlic black chashu noodles. It is 1,140 yen including tax.

It’s not the classic Hakata pork bone, but it had a rich flavor and was delicious! Hakata bite-sized gyoza. 200 yen for 4 pieces. Mako-chan also had mentaiko rice. I came outside Hakata Station as Mako-chan invited me. Illuminations lit up during the Christmas season at Hakata Station Plaza.

Many people from Japan and abroad were taking pictures, mainly young people. We also took a lot of photos. Now, let’s go back to the hotel and get some rest… Good morning! It’s morning! We will have breakfast at the restaurant “WHY NOT” on the 1st floor of the hotel.

Give your breakfast ticket to the staff and have them check it out. Just looking at the food lined up on the buffet table along the way makes me very excited! We were shown to our seats. Let’s take a look at the buffet table! Let’s start by looking at this island.

Water, tea, and hot coffee. Grapefruit juice, iced tea, iced coffee, lemon water. Orange juice, apple juice, tomato juice, milk. Plenty of ice is also available. Let’s take a look at the other side of the island. cut fruit. Pineapple, pink grapefruit, and orange. Baked pudding, donuts, chocolate cake, etc.

Petit cakes, roll cakes, and chiffon cakes. Tomato smoothie, yogurt and flakes. I came to the next island. Croissant, chocolate danish, mentaiko baguette. Bread, whole wheat butter roll. Keanu beans, salad dressing, etc. Salad corner. It’s a bit disappointing that there are no sliced onions and corn. Tamagoyaki, steamed chicken, and mentaiko hot sandwich.

Soy milk and spinach quiche, olive marinade. Japanese-style potato salad, stews, etc. Hot spring eggs, grilled seaweed, grated ginger, etc. are the accompaniments to white rice. There were also natto, pickled plums, and pickled vegetables. Hakata mustard cod roe and tofu. Grilled fish was prepared with mackerel. Scrambled eggs and ketchup. Sausage, bacon, and mustard.

Sauteed winter vegetables. Deep-fried chicken made with Kyushu-produced chicken “Hanami-dori”. It is also good to pair with curry. Next to it is white rice. Chicken curry using Hakata Hanami chicken, which I introduced earlier. Next door is potage soup. Miso soup with Kyushu barley miso. Porridge. Several types of toppings were also placed together.

There was also a coffee machine in the lounge. These are the things I received! Everything was very delicious! Thank you for the meal! GOCHISOUSAMA means “Thank you for the meal!” It was time to check out, though I regret to say it was time to leave. What did you think of THE BASICS FUKUOKA?

This is a highly recommended hotel located away from Hakata Station where you can spend a quiet time! Thank you for watching until the end! I hope this helps you choose a hotel or makes you feel like you’re actually there.
