Welcome to Villa d’Este, luxury hotel in Lake Como, Italy. Luxurious room. Hotel facilities such as pool and spa. Italian dinner. Breakfast. 10 hectares of park and garden. Please enjoy. The hotel Villa d’Este is located in Cernobbio on Lake Como in northern Italy.

The hotel has a gate that prevents anyone other than guests from entering the premises. Villa d’Este is a member of the global hotel association “The Leading Hotels of the World.” Villa d’Este is officially recognized as a 5-star hotel. Lake Como can be seen on the right.

Lake Como is one of Europe’s most luxurious resorts and summer resorts, and is a popular destination for celebrities. Lake Como is surrounded by beautiful mountains and is dotted with villas. Let’s go inside. Let’s take a look at Lake Como. Beautiful lakes, mountains, and clear air. It’s a very beautiful place.

There are seagulls and swans on the lake. By the way, we are already on the hotel grounds. Signs are scattered throughout the hotel. This is a snow scene. In the past, the hotel name was written on the wall facing Lake Como.

Villa d’Este has two wings. The white building is called the Cardinal Building. The red building we can see in the back is called the Queen’s Pavilion. The main building is the Cardinal Building. The hotel has facilities such as a sports club, restaurant, and shops. In the 15th century, this place was a monastery.

In the 16th century, the monastery was demolished and became the residence of Cardinal Tolomeo Gallio. This is the entrance to the Cardinal Building (main building). After the death of Cardinal Tolomeo Gallio, the mansion remained and, for various reasons, became a luxury hotel in 1873.

The hotel opened in 1873, but the building itself dates back to the 16th century. Some events are held every day. This is the bell desk and entrance. Hotel goods are on display. The path leading to the toilet. It has a beautiful interior. This area is the lobby.

There are hotel facilities on both sides. There are sweets rooms and hotel desks. We went to the hotel in December, so the interior was decorated in a Christmas style. This is the lobby waiting room. That’s the reception. We checked in here. I like the Christmas decorations. A ring from the brand VHERNIER.

There seems to be a jewelry shop and a beauty salon ahead. The red interior is amazing. There is a Milanese jewelry brand shop called VHERNIER. That’s a nice design. This is···. Some kind of room. It seems like it can be used for multiple purposes.

There is a Christmas goods shop and a chocolate room. This place also has a beautiful interior. It’s a Renaissance-style residence, so it’s decorated with paintings. Cookies and more from the Villa d’Este package. Chocolates and sweets. It’s brightly colored. Christmas goods are on sale. Santa Claus and Christmas tree. It’s a beautiful picture.

Snacks and drinks. Alcoholic drinks are sold. This is a beauty salon. It looks like you can also get a haircut from here. Let’s go to the opposite side of the sweets room from earlier. This is the Experience Desk. It was just decorated with pictures. A branded watch called Columbo.

Columbo is an Italian watch brand founded in 1948. Columbo is an official retailer of Rolex and Cartier watches. Is this a Rolex watch? This is···. There are tables and a fireplace. It’s a cafe restaurant called GREENHOUSE. This is also a cafe restaurant called GREENHOUSE.

As the name GREENHOUSE suggests, the interior has a lot of greenery. Veranda is the main dining room. Served from breakfast to dinner. The Christmas tree is beautiful. I had dinner and breakfast in the back. Let’s go outside. If we go to the left we will see restaurants and other building.

It’s a beautiful place. From spring to autumn, this area is used as a restaurant. This time we were staying in winter, but winter is the season when there are fewer people at Lake Como. There are unexpected waves. Boats may sometimes stop around here.

This is the Cardinal Building seen from the Lake Como side. Let’s go inside. The GREENHOUSE I mentioned earlier can be seen on the left. The flowers are beautiful. It’s between the Cardinal Building and another building. Everywhere is beautiful. There are garden, park, stone statues, tennis courts, etc. in the back.

There is a historic tree in front of the indoor pool. There is a 10 hectare park over there. I am taking a walk the next morning. It’s a very beautiful place. This place is called the sundeck. From spring to autumn it is used as a restaurant.

There is a pool next to it facing Lake Como. The gazebo in the back is also a beautiful place. We can overlook Lake Como. It is said to be the first floating pool. A photo of an American-born French dancer named Josephine Baker. What we can see in the back is the floating pool.

Cross the small bridge. Is there a jacuzzi in front? It’s a pretty big pool. This pool is in a great location right in front of Lake Como. The Cardinal Building can be seen in the back on the left. We can see the building called Queen’s Pavilion in the back on the right.

The Queen’s Pavilion was the 19th century holiday home of Queen Caroline of Brunswick. There is a small boat. The waves are strong around here. Can you see the pool shaking? A photo of the 1924 Queen’s Pavilion and the boat in front of it.

Regattas were once held at the location of the floating pool. There are many boats parked there. It was named Queen’s Pavilion because it was the villa of Queen Caroline of Brunswick. There are stone statues and ship. It’s a beautiful ship. It glows at night.

There is a restaurant called Grill next to Queen’s Pavilion. A photo of a wet dock from the early 1900s. This is a restaurant called Grill. It is not open in winter, but is open from spring to autumn. This time we will be staying at Queen’s Pavilion. The entrance is designed for Christmas.

This also has a revolving door. A small lobby in the Queen’s Pavilion. A beautiful picture of a dining table. Dom Perignon in Emirates First Class. The inside of the elevator is small. The Queen’s Pavilion is spread over three floors and has 27 guest rooms. A passageway in the Queen’s Pavilion.

There are two creepy dolls in the back, so it’s a little scary at night (lol). There are 152 rooms in total, 27 in the Queen’s Pavilion and 125 in the Cardinal Building. Depending on the room type you booked, you will be given either the Queen’s Pavilion or the Cardinal Building.

This time we stayed in a junior suite. The rooms we stayed in were generally small, even the junior suites were this size. Although the rooms are not large, they are very nicely decorated and have high ceilings. Phone or notepad. This bed has a cute design. The pillows and bed are soft.

Each room has a different interior, so you can enjoy your stay as many times as you want by changing rooms. The hotel is said to be environmentally friendly. USB ports, Italian outlet. This corner room has two balconies. View to the southwest. We can see the garden and the Cardinal Building.

To the southeast, we can see Lake Como and the mountains. Go back to the room. This is a dining table. The menu for alcoholic drinks (for a fee) is written on a piece of paper. A cocktail set is available. Dried fruits. Stand type TV. It’s an LG TV.

Let’s take a look at the other balcony. Great view of Lake Como right in front. There is a desk. Italian water and carbonated water. Room service breakfast menu, etc. Welcome message and welcome sweets. Marble wash basins. Hotel original soap. There are towel and trash can underneath.

Bathtub and shower. It is a bit disappointing that it is a unit bath. The walls are made of marble. Hotel original bath salts. Hotel original shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel. Bath towels on top. There is a toilet on the right. Cotton swab (Cotton fioc in Italian). Nail file. Sanitary bag and shower cap.

Shampoo, shower gel, etc. There are no razors or toothbrushes for amenities. IMETEC hair dryer. It’s about 100 USD. Bidet. Thick bathrobes with hotel logo. Air conditioning and light switches. Walk-in closet near the entrance. Conversion plug. Safety box. Indoor slippers. With hotel logo. Laundry bag. Below is the minibar. Snacks and glasses.

Drinks and snacks are available for a fee. Aranmilia drink. Tonic waters, alcoholic drinks, colas. Carbonated water and still water. Chocolate. Enough space to hang clothes. It’s a historic hotel, so if we look closely, we’ll see some parts that are damaged.

Although there are some parts that are a little damaged, that’s one of the good things about being a long-established hotel. Long-established hotels have a quality that new, clean hotels cannot offer. We can see hotel information on the TV.

There is a description of the five-star resort that was converted into a hotel in 1873. The Cardinal Building is said to have been founded in 1568. It’s a map. The hotel grounds are on the right. To the left is a 10 hectare (25 acre) park and garden, which is larger.

It is a very large park and garden with many trees, plants, and stone statues. There are also villas where you can stay overnight. There is a dress code in the evening, and men are required to wear jackets to dinner. Sports club is nearby. A list of sports club activities.

It’s a beautiful sports club. Hotel original bags are on sale. This is the gym. Technogym machines are mainly installed. There are lockers. Beach sandals and swimming cap. Blue bath towel. Emerald bathrobe. Amenities. A shower room with beautiful marble walls. Wash basins and hair dryers.

Indoor pool. It has 4 lanes and is 20m long. Trees are painted on the wall. A water server is installed. In the back is a massage treatment room. Small water bath. Dry sauna. It’s a decent size. Mist sauna. It has a beautiful interior. There are two shower rooms.

Dinner from 7pm. It is beautifully lit up at night. Let’s go to the restaurant Veranda located in the Cardinal Building. The Christmas decoration is very nice. There were no people at the moment, but by the time dinner was over, the place was almost full. Christmas special menu. Prices are stated in euros.

Veranda is the elegant main dining. I ordered this tasting menu. Traditional menu. Antipasti (Dish served at the beginning of an Italian course). Pastas and soups. Fish dishes. Meat dishes. Extensive wine list. They have a wide selection of European wines. First of all, I ordered a glass of red wine. These breads look delicious.

Butter. The first item is “Duo of foie gras, grapefruit, red berries”. I’ll have a croissant. The plate has the hotel logo on it. 2nd item: Tagliolini pasta, red prawn tartare, lime, Jerusalem artichoke, bottarga. 3rd item: Roasted Glacier 51, tomato, caper leaves, fregola, clams. It looks like a fish called Magellan greenling.

4th item: Roe deer, annurca apple, black salsifies, Gran Cru 75% dark chocolate. A sauce made with venison and chocolate. 5th item: Creamy hazelnut praline, white chocolate mousse, cocoa sponge cake. Chocolate will crumble easily. A delicious dessert of mousse and cake. Baked sweets after dinner. Chamomile tea. Hotel original tea cup.

The price is 234 EUR (256 USD) per person. Dinner was very satisfying. The food tasted good and was carefully presented. It is beautifully lit up at night. At night, Lake Como is so dark that we can hardly see it. In winter, there are fewer people and the atmosphere is calm.

Lake Como is a popular summer resort, so the number of guests staying here is the highest in the summer. In winter, the illuminations are beautiful and the accommodation rates are a little cheaper, so it’s surprisingly recommended. The illumination of the garden and park is also beautiful.

Gazebo at night. Eating here looks good in the summer. The floating pool is illuminated at night. The Queen’s Pavilion is dark and we can’t see very well. The ship in front of Queen’s Pavilion. It is beautifully lit up. Return to the Queen’s Pavilion. It’s a beautiful road.

Go past the creepy doll and return to the room. Apparently there was turndown service during dinner. Don’t Disturb tag and room service breakfast menu. This is···. Two chocolates. The ceiling of the room is high, so the curtains are long.

View to the southwest. We can see the glowing ship we saw earlier from the room. Lake Como is almost invisible when it’s dark. The floating pool is beautiful. Night view of the hotel grounds. View to the southeast.

There are also villas scattered on the other side of Lake Como, so we can see the lights of the villas. There’s a lot of light in the back. What is that? Check the water pressure in the shower. Water pressure is ok. Good morning. It’s the morning of the next day.

A view of Lake Como in the morning. There is a wonderful lake in front, and we can welcome a refreshing morning. The grounds of the hotel are also beautiful. It’s no wonder that this place is popular with celebrities. The boat is running slowly. Lake Como offers boat tours and cruises.

Contrails in the sky. The ground is visible in the shallow parts of Lake Como. We had breakfast at Veranda, the same restaurant where we had dinner. Window seats offer views of the hotel’s gardens and Lake Como. Breakfast is a buffet. It’s freshly baked bread. There are many types of bread.

There are about 20 types of bread. All the breads look delicious. Hams, boiled eggs, etc. Cheeses, dried fruits, honey etc. Hams, salmons, etc. Fresh juices. French champagne called ANDRE CLOUET. Orange juice. Vegetable juices. Fruits. Yogurts. This is also fruit. Gluten free. Cereals. Milks. Eggs Benedict. Grilled vegetables and tomatoes. Sausages and bacons.

You can also have your egg dishes made live. Vanilla cream soft bread and danish. Corn flakes. Eggs Benedict. Vegetable juice and yogurt. Jams. Cappuccino. It’s a runny egg. Everything was delicious. Room service breakfast menu. Continental breakfast. A la carte menu.

I think it would be better to eat at a restaurant than room service. Continental breakfast and a la carte. It’s the same menu. Starters and salads. Sandwiches, burgers, pastas. Meats, fishes, cheeses and desserts.

It’s in front of the entrance to the Cardinal Building. In the past, hotel guests used to come here by horse-drawn carriage. View of the Arc de Triomphe. Let’s go see places wehaven’t seen yet at your hotel. There is a gift shop. Hotel original bags and other items are on sale.

There are four conference rooms, which are also used for business purposes. Let’s go look at the entrance and opposite side of the Cardinal Building. It looks like a garden. There is a stone statue in the back.

It commemorates the philanthropic work of Queen Caroline of Brunswick, who owned the villa from 1815 to 1820. This is the state of Lake Como around 10 o’clock. There are mountains around Lake Como, and around noon when the sun is rising, the lake looks beautiful illuminated by the sun. The ship is running fast.

I’m going to see the garden and park. It’s a beautiful garden. Fountain. There are white statues on the wall. Stone statue. This is the entrance to the park. This is a map of the park. This is a large park with a helipad and tennis courts. Let’s go up the stairs.

There is a clay tennis court. Here···. There are wooden toys. There is a white stone statue at the very back of the park. A grim look. It says Ercole e Lica (Hercules and Lica). A brown stone statue is placed casually. The small waterfall in the back has a nice atmosphere. View from above.

We can climb the stairs in a few minutes. There’s a pond. In the background we can see the hotel Cardinal Building and Lake Como. This is the tennis court from earlier. Let’s go down from another location. Since it is a park, there are play equipment such as slides and swings. Here···.

It’s a place where we can play futsal and basketball. There are also plenty of outdoor facilities. The park is large and there are some places we haven’t been to yet. There’s a helipad nearby, so we’ll go there. This is the helipad. It is written as H. There’s a helipad in a great location.

That is the hotel Queen’s Pavilion. There is a road behind the hotel. Go back to the room. Finally, let’s take a look at the view from the balcony. Although it was just before 12 o’clock, the scenery was very beautiful. I think Lake Como is the most beautiful around noon.

Check out is at 12:00. A taxi was arranged in front of Queen’s Pavilion. We are driving on the road we saw earlier. It is also within the hotel grounds. There is a villa here. Pass through the hotel gate. The fee was 1680 EUR (about 1842 USD).

There is a shopping street near the hotel. It is lined with boutiques, restaurants, wine shops and cake shops. Drive along Lake Como. The nearest station to the hotel is Como San Giovanni. From here, take the train called Trenord. Station platform. It’s a big train. Go to Milan Central Station.

The ride time is about 40 minutes. The inside of the station is beautiful. We’ll take a taxi. Villa d’Este was a very nice hotel. Next time we will be staying at the Bvlgari Hotel Milano. Thank you for your viewing.

The Villa d’Este, originally Villa del Garovo, is a Renaissance patrician residence in Cernobbio on the shores of Lake Como in northern Italy.

This romantic and lavish hotel was once the private residence of Cardinal Tolomeo Gallio of Como in the late 16th century.

In 1815, it became the residence of Caroline of Brunswick, estranged wife of future King George IV. “Its garden seems almost suspended in the air”, she wrote in her diary, “and forms a scene of complete enchantment.” She gave it the name Nuova Villa d’Este and had the park landscaped in the English style.

Since 1873, the Villa d’Este complex has been a luxury hotel which is a popular destination of Hollywood celebrities and elite billionaires for its ultra-luxurious amenities.

Today, with room rates averaging €1000 ($1200) a night and top suites averaging €3500 ($4200) per night, the villa is a luxury hotel for wealthy people and a high-level congress center.

In June 2009, Forbes reckoned it the best hotel in the world, while in 2014 it was listed as the 2nd best resort in Europe by Travel + Leisure magazine.

Every May, the hotel holds a Concours d’Elegance for vintage and concept cars, the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este, which was first presented in 1928. In September, it hosts the annual Ambrosetti Forum, an international workshop attended by prominent figures from the fields of politics, finance and business, which has taken place there since 1975.

  14. Очень красивый ландшафт, давно не бывали в тех краях, но убранство и стиль номеров на любителя

  15. Christmas decorations are not something I think about but this is probably the nicest display I have ever seen. It's bold without being overdone or eccentric. It is tasteful without being gaudy. This is a class act that justifies its pricing. Thank you for the detailed capture of all of the intricate pieces and historical charms. The food and menu close ups were outstanding. I can't hit the LIKE button enough times.
