It’s just the right temperature. It’s reserved. It’s a private footbath. [The source is 100.4 degrees Celsius] Hyotan Onsen is 100% free flowing from the source. A bamboo cooling device called “Yumetake” is used to maintain the appropriate temperature without diluting the source water. Is it a hot spring sommelier?

Many people first stop by the footbath to warm up. [Steam Observation Deck] Enjoy a panoramic view of Mt. Ogiyama and Mt. Tsurumi from the observation deck. In March 2001, Beppu’s steam was ranked second in Japan after Mt. Fuji in NHK’s “Scenery of Japan that we want to preserve in the 21st century.”

The night view from the observation deck was certified as a “Japanese night view heritage” in August 2010. The steam of Kannawa, the majestic Mt. Tsurumi, and Mt. Ogi, which changes color depending on the season.

[Kyushu Shochukan] We have over 500 brands of shochu from all over Kyushu (including Iki, Amami, and Okinawa). We also have a wide selection of sake, whiskey, wine, and liqueurs. It’s quite fast. It’s like flying. amazing. My ears have changed due to the change in altitude. The atmospheric pressure has changed.

The temperature is changing. [Tsurumi-dake] An active volcano located in Beppu City, Oita Prefecture. The altitude is 1,375m. One of Japan’s 300 famous mountains. Beppu Onsen (Beppu Hatto) spreads out on the alluvial fan at the eastern foot of the mountain. Is that an amusement park? [Kijima Kogen Park] Ichinomiya Gongen.

[Visiting the Seven Lucky Gods of Mt. Tsurumi] You can visit the Seven Lucky Gods as you head toward the top of Mt. Tsurumi. The journey takes approximately 40 minutes. You can visit the shrine while hiking.

[Overlooking the city of Beppu and Beppu Bay] It’s hazy today, but on a clear day you can see the Kunisaki Peninsula, the Chugoku region, and the Shikoku region. Wouldn’t it be great if it was a circus? lol. Wow, this place is nice. Make this your campsite! lol. Great view. Don’t wash your heart.

It feels good. I want to go there too. Mt. Tsurumi is designated as part of the Aso-Kuju National Park, and from Beppu Bay you can see its beautiful appearance alongside Mt. Yufu in the background. Aquarium japonica in early summer. Autumn leaves. It is blessed with natural beauty, including hoarfrost in winter.

You can see Beppu city and Beppu Bay to the east, Kijima Highland to the south, Mt. Yufu to the immediate west, and the Kuju mountain range in the distance. I’m going to the mountain for a while. Are you going to check out the mountain? lol. amazing. That’s beautiful.

Climbing a mountain isn’t bad either. When you reach the top, you can see a view like this. It somehow cleanses my soul. I wish all mountains had ropeways. It’s cheating. It’s a mountain climbing cheat. You can enjoy reaching the top.

The Beppu Ropeway runs from Beppu Kogen Station (altitude 503m) halfway up the mountain to Tsurumi Sanjo Station (altitude 1,300m) at the top of the mountain, and you can climb it in less than 10 minutes. 麓には湯けむりの別府市街。
別府の湯けむりは、平成13年3月にNHKが募集した「21世紀に残したい日本の風景」で富士山に次いで全国第2位に選ばれました。

目の前に聳え立つ鶴見岳。
こちらにも登ってきました。
鶴見岳は大分県別府市にある活火山。
標高は1,375m。日本三百名山のひとつ。
山頂からの絶景を是非、ご一緒に感動してくださると嬉しいです。
