【歴史じっくり紀行】OSHIRO vol.59 伊勢亀山城 間違った解体されたまさかのお城を訪れた!!【ゆっくり解説】【お城巡り】【日本観光】

How are you all doing? My name is Yasumori Miyake. He served as the lord of this castle. There is someone who demolished my castle by mistake, but who is that person? The answer will be in the program. hello everyone. Today I went to visit the castle again.

The castle we visited today is Ise Kameyama Castle in Mie Prefecture. Ise Kameyama Castle is a Tokugawa Fudai castle built at a strategic point along the Tokaido. Let’s go right away. Ise Kameyama was a strategic location near Suzuka Pass on the Tokaido.

Even today, it is said to be one of the most difficult sections of National Route 1, second only to Hakone Pass, and is an area with many steep sections. However, since it is the lowest pass in the Suzuka Mountains, it has long been an important route from Kinai to Togoku.

Ise Kameyama Castle is a castle built at this important transportation hub. The castle was built by the Seki clan, who ruled this area throughout the Middle Ages. It is said that it was first built around 1265. The Seki clan was expelled by Oda Nobunaga in 1573.

The current castle was rebuilt in 1590 by Munenori Okamoto as a modern castle. Munenori Okamoto was the uncle of the Saka clan who was Oda Nobunaga’s concubine. Mr. Saka gave birth to Nobutaka Oda. Therefore, Nobutaka Oda was born in Munenori Okamoto’s mansion.

In illustrations from the 13th year of Kanei era, there are six Kuruwa: Honmaru, Ninomaru, Higashi Sannomaru, Minami Sannomaru, Ninomaru, Kita-Obi Kuruwa, and Nishidemaru. It seems that Munenori Okamoto’s castle was built in the form of three walls, Honmaru, Ninomaru, and Sannomaru, arranged in parallel.

In the early modern period, Kameyama Castle seems to have also served as an inn for the shogunate. There is a surprising story about the head of Ise Kameyama Castle, where Tokugawa Ieyasu, Tokugawa Hidetada, and Tokugawa Iemitsu stayed when they went to Kyoto .

There are several castles called Kameyama Castle in Japan, including Tamba Kameyama Castle and Kameyama Castle in Wakayama Prefecture. There is also a castle called Maruyama Castle. The castle featured in this video is Kameyama Castle in Ise Province.

Currently, a triple turret stands at Ise Kameyama Castle on the north side of the main enclosure, replacing the main shrine. It is common for the triple turret to be used as a substitute for the castle tower, and the Edo shogunate refrained from using the triple turret instead of the castle tower.

The triple turret of Ise Kameyama Castle was built in 1636. At the time, the castle was under renovation by Shunji Honda, the lord of the castle. Ise Kameyama Castle originally had a castle tower even before that.

The year is 1632. Tadaharu Horio, a feudal lord of Izumo, was ordered by the Tokugawa shogunate to repair Kameyama Castle. It seems that the lord of Kameyama Castle in Tanshu was in charge of the repairs, but

Horio apparently misunderstood and had the castle tower of Kameyama Castle in Ise removed and began repairing the stone walls. Even if the mistake was discovered, the temple of Ise Kameyama Castle was never rebuilt.

At that time, after the One Country, One Castle Law was enacted, it was difficult to build or renovate castles because the Edo shogunate would not permit them, and the status of feudal lords’ families was also strictly controlled.

During the Edo period, there were more than 300 feudal domains, but some were feudal lords who owned castles, and many of them had jinya (jinya). The lord of Ise Kameyama Castle when the castle was demolished was Yasunobu Miyake, a feudal lord with 12,000 koku.

He seems to have been ill and passed away in September of this year. The successor, Yasumori Miyake, lived in Edo. The previous generation had died of illness, and the head of the family was away from the territory as he was in Edo, so the dissolution of the lord occurred amidst the turmoil.

The successive lords of Ise Kameyama Castle have changed frequently. It seems that there are many Fudai daimyo. It changes rapidly with Okamoto, Seki, Matsudaira, Miyake, Honda, Ishikawa, Itakura, Matsudaira, Itakura, and Ishikawa.

The Ishikawa clan ushered in the Meiji era as the last lord of the castle. Most of the castle area is now an urban area. You can see traces of those days in the main enclosure, stone walls, and Tamon turret.

Everyone. How about visiting a castle? It’s time to check the answers to the quiz. Are there any undelivered items that have forgotten the problem? It’s okay. I’ll say it again, so listen carefully. Who was the one who demolished my castle by mistake?

What, there’s no way that’s some kind of joke? Would you like me to read the question again? This is no joke. I hear it a lot because it’s a true story. Who demolished my castle by mistake? 1 Tadaharu Horio 2 Tadaharu Horio 3 Tadaharu Horio 4 Tadaharu Horio

Everyone. Got it? The answer is Tadaharu Horio. For a daimyo with only 10,000 koku, having a castle tower was considered a luxury. I cannot go against the wishes of the prince. This Tadaharu Horio. He was also the person who received Hiroshima Castle when Masanori Fukushima was transferred to Kawanakajima in Shinshu.

It seems that he had adopted an adopted son, but the shogunate’s request for a successor was not accepted, and the

Horio family was left without an heir. I was also dismantled because I was mistaken as the head of the temple, but it seems that the Horio family, as feudal lords, had their house dismantled. Things aren’t going well in the world. Well then, everyone. Enjoy the rest of your time touring the castle. Farewell.
