It everything seems hazy is there some place  for safety I can go run away run away run   away into your Escape run away run away run  away and never too far to run run away run   away run away into your Escape run away run  away run away run away run away run [Music]

Away before we get into today’s episode we just  want to say a big thank you to Surf shark for   supporting our Channel and sponsoring this video  if you’ve been watching our channel for a while   you would know that we’ve been using surf shark  VPN since the day we started our travels it’s

Been a game changer and something we can’t  live without as digital Nomads if you don’t   know what a VPN is it stands for virtual private  Network having a VPN keeps you safe basically by   covering up everything you do online it’s kind  of like wearing a mask when your laptop or phone

Connect to the internet all of your information  is encrypted basically whenever you log into   public Wi-Fi you’re running the risk of a hacker  stealing your information which is why we always   use surf shark in public settings but aside from  providing us with extra security while we’re on

The road surf shark also makes it possible for us  to access online streaming sites that we wouldn’t   normally be able to access because we’re in  another country so basically how it works   when you’re using surf shark VPN you can choose  which country server you want to connect to and

Not only that you can connect an unlimited amount  of devices using just one surf shark account if   you’re interested in trying it out click the link  in the description and use code Lloyd and Mandy   and you’ll get an exclusive surf shark deal of  an extra 3 months free and if you’ve never used

A v before and you’re not really sure about it  they have a 30-day money back guarantee so no   worries thank you surf shark for supporting our  Channel and thank you guys for listening now let’s   get into the episode number one yoga aside from  being known for its beautiful beaches waterfalls

And culture Bali is maybe best known as being  a yoga Heaven this is most likely because yoga   has some links to bali’s main religion of Hinduism  which has contributed to the develop velopment of   bali’s yoga culture and allowed for the growth  of yoga retreats and teacher training programs

With hundreds of yoga studios scattered all over  Bali you’re sure to find a studio that meets your   standards whether you’re a beginner or a dedicated  Yogi the cost of yoga in Bali generally starts at   around 150,000 IDR or just under $10 for a drop in  however if you plan on practicing multiple times

During your stay you can expect to pay less for a  last bundle our favorite yoga studios in Bali are   yoga Barn in Ubud and samed yoga in changu number  two surfing it’s no secret that one of the main

Reasons people flock to Bali every year is due to  the amazing yearr round surf on the island chenu   which was once a quiet local fishing town is now  a hub for Surfers who base themselves here all

Year round due to the warm conditions and easy  to access waves although changu and CA can often   become overcrowded especially in peak season you  can venture out to find more isolated waves such   as ulatu and the west coast of madawi which is  just a 2-hour drive from Cuda if you don’t want

To Lug your surfboard all the way to Bali don’t  worry thousands of surf shops are here for you to   rent aboard for relatively cheap you can finish  your day of Surfing off with a relaxing beer at

One of the local rungs on the beach while sipping  a cold coconut or bin Tang while also watching the   sun go down over the ocean number three unique  airbn bees Bali is home to some amazing hotels

And resorts but there is also an array of unique  airbnb’s here to rent for relatively cheap for   something different you can stay in anything from  a treehouse in the jungle to an A-frame cabin on   the beach or even a hillside Villa overlooking  some of the most stunning views in Bali why not

Step out of your comfort zone and experience a  unique accommodation ation while in Bali you can   find these simply by searching on Airbnb and  clicking one of the many unique accommodation   options number four Mount pure Sunrise hike Mount  pure is an active volcano located in the northeast

Of Bali approximately 70 km from D Pasar City it  is an extremely popular destination for tourists   wanting to see perhaps the most breathtaking  sunrise on the island however if this is something   you’re interested in doing just be prepared  that you will have to wake up very early if

Traveling from the changu or seyac area as you’ll  need to leave your accommodation at around 2:   a.m. this is because it’s a 2-hour drive to  the base and about a 45-minute hike up the   volcano and we really recommend making the  effort to get up for Sunrise cuz it really

Is worth it after the hike you can take in the  scenery while eating breakfast or just take a   relaxing walk around the top of the mountain but  just be aware of the monkeys as they will try to

Take your food straight from your hands if you’re  not paying attention a guided hike will cost you   around $40 per person which includes pickup and  drop off from your hotel as well as a trip to

The hot springs that are located near the base of  the volcano where you can relax in naturally warm   fresh water that will make the early morning rise  all the more worthwhile definitely worth doing   number five waterfalls for the waterfall lovers  there are hundreds of amazing waterfalls scattered

All around Bali so some are more challenging  to access than others if you’re interested in   swimming in these waterfalls then you may not want  to visit during the wet season when the water is   Flowing extremely hard and it’s dangerous and  quite dirty some of our favorite waterfalls to

Visit are getg waterfall ungan waterfall vanu  Mala twin waterfall sikole waterfall and timbu   manab Bali waterfall and our personal favorite is  the red coral waterfall located in munduk in the   northern part part of Bali mostly because we were  able to stay in a very cool Airbnb sat on the top

Of the hill and was super easy to access number  six jimar and Bay Seafood the jimar and seafood   cafes should be on your list of must tries during  your visit in Bali especially if you’re a seafood

Lover not only is jimar and Bay one of bali’s  best places for enjoying sunsets but it’s also   an extremely popular place to enjoy grilled  seafood while you rest your feet in the sand   just remember to pack bug spray as the mosquitoes  can get a bit bad at night time here there’s over

A dozen Seafood cafes that line the beach mostly  open from afternoon until late each jimar Seafood   Cafe serves freshly grilled Seafood on candle  it tables laid out on the beach front as the   sun goes down the Horizon features faint lights  from dear airport and traditional fishing boat

Lanterns out at Sea number seven visit North  Bali although the southern part of Bali has   long been the most popular tourist destination  for many years we suggest venturing out to The   Road Less Traveled which is north Bali located  around 3 hours north of couta in this part of

Bali you’ll find some very interesting places  to visit including Amed Beach the alanu temple   and Lavina Beach where you can take a boat tour  to watch the Dolphins and swim during Sunrise as   well as the Royal Palace of singar Raa which is  one of the most popular destinations for tourists

Visiting North Bali where the descendants of the  Old Kings still live to this day it’s also home   to one of the most beautiful golf courses in the  world the handara golf course where you can drive   through the very famous hendar Gateway on your  way to playing 18 holes surrounded by beautiful

Landscapes number eight eat local food in  recent years there have been more and more   western style restaurants opening in Bali to help  please tourists from all over the world but that   doesn’t mean you can’t get some tasty authentic  Indonesian cine during your trip to Bali some

Of our favorite dishes include naig Goring sat  Soo gato and our personal favorite Bobby guling   Bobby guling is the Indonesian version of a roast  suckling pig although it’s not as common in other   Indonesian regions in Bali where the prominent  religion is Hinduism it is one of the most popular

Dishes amongst local before roasting pig skin is  usually rubbed with turmeric and the animal is   stuffed with a traditional spice mixture which  usually includes turmeric coriander lemongrass   shallots chili shrimp paste and garlic there are  plenty of Bobby ghouling restaurants scattered all

Over Bali so you won’t have any problems finding  one our personal favorite is IBU Oka number three   located in uood number nine visit a day spa if  you’re planning on doing some relaxing in Bali

Then you’re going to want to pay a visit to a day  spa during your time and there’s no shortage of   day spas in Bali as the saying goes you usually  get what you pay for some are far more luxurious

Than others but that doesn’t mean that there isn’t  something for every budget when researching in   best day spas in Bali be sure to jump over to  Google or Trip Advisor to check out the reviews   first our personal favorite is salmon V resort and  spa located in sedan here you can get pampered for

The day and spend a few nights enjoying the  private pool Villas while being treated to   amazing food and service number 10 Rice Terraces  by far one of the main reasons Bali always looks   so beautiful in videos and photos is the stunning  rice patties and Terraces take a day trip out to

The famous to galal along Rice Terraces in uwood  which are famous for the beautiful looking rice   rice patties and their unique irrigation system  which looks like a set of Giant Steps known as   the subac the traditional banese irrigation  system is said to have been passed down by a

Revered holy man in the 8th Century The talong  Rice Terraces offer Scenic views that spread   as far as the eye can see although the location  is cool and Breezy and is also a well-known spot   for tourists to stop and take photos painters and  nature lovers also enjoy visiting this spot and

There are a large number of art kiosks and cafes  near the ledge so there you have it our top 10   things we recommend you do during your time  in Bali let us know down below if we missed

  1. Happy new year guys! I have been to Bali a dozen time and still need to visit some of these places and top things to do! Safe travels and all the best for your 2024 👏❤️

  2. Happy New Year 🙂 all the very best! Can you still do the Mount Batur tour? There was some info earlier in the year that it may be only for spiritual practice? Maybe that hasn't been implemented yet? That would be awesome 🙂 I would add Dreamland, Suluban and Niang Niang beach in Uluwatu, Gili Islands. Loved Amed and made long-lasting friendships with the locals 🙂 Seminyak was amazing for music recording 🙂 Looking forward to going to Bali again! It's such a great culture and beautiful nature. Would you know any yoga retreats you could recommend for a month?

  3. Thanks for the great recommendations and will have to put a few on my list of things to do. Have a great New Year and may it be prosperous and healthy everyone.
