長福寺（ちょうふくじ）は岡山県美作市（みまさか）にある真言宗御室派（おむろ）の寺院です。 詳名は真木山 般若院 長福寺と号し、 本尊は十一面観音です。 三重塔は国の重要文化財に指定され、岡山県下最古の木造建築です。高さは２２mです。 朱塗りの美しい三重塔です。 天平宝字元年（757年）に鑑真が孝謙天皇の勅命により開いたという言い伝えです。 その後は衰退し、鎌倉時代の弘安8年（1285年）円源が天台宗の寺院として再興したとの事。 天台宗と真言宗に宗派が頻繁に入れ替わったとの事ですが、南北朝時代の明徳年間（1390年 – 1393年）に完全に真言宗の寺院となったそうです。 ご視聴ありがとうございました

The three-storied pagoda was built in 1285 during the Kamakura period, and its height is 22 meters.
This is the oldest wooden pagoda in Okayama Prefecture. It has also been designated as a national important cultural property.🥷🇯🇵
