This time I will be staying at a hotel in Beppu, Oita Prefecture. It was a nice hotel with a hot spring, so please watch till the end. It’s rare to find a hotel with a hot spring pool on the rooftop! The current location is “Beppu Station” in Japan.

I immediately found a hot spring handbath in front of Beppu Station! Beppu City in Oita Prefecture has the highest number of hot springs in Japan, and the highest amount of spring water. I arrived at the hotel. Price for 1 room. This hotel does not have parking. I’ll check in.

There is an amenity bar in the lobby. Basic cosmetics are also available. Yukata with various patterns will be used as indoor wear. There is also an obi.

Amanek Beppu Yurari has guest rooms up to the 13th floor, a large hot spring bath on the 13th floor, and a hot spring pool on the rooftop on the 14th floor. This time we will be staying in room 621 on the 6th floor.

Although it’s next to the elevator, the noise doesn’t bother me at all. The superior twin room is ample space at approximately 26㎡. Even on the 6th floor, the view from the window is open! The latest air purifier. There is a large public bath, so it’s convenient to have a spa bag.

We have not only yukata but also nightgowns. There is a road just below but you don’t hear any noise. A device that adjusts air conditioning and lighting. There is an outlet and a USB port at the bedside. The pillows and bed seem to be comfortable. A simple but functional room.

There are 2 bottles of natural water free of charge. You can watch YouTube and Abema on TV. Bedside lamps and bedside outlets. Hanger and deodorant spray. Electronic kettle and cups, free coffee, etc. Safe and regular size refrigerator. Slippers for going to the public bath and slippers for the room. A clean toilet.

Many people are happy to have separate bathrooms and toilets. Toothbrush, hair dryer, and towel. A simple bathroom with lots of light. I came to the lobby and lounge on the first floor. Guests can enjoy unlimited drinks here. There are also some snacks.

I’m happy to say that if you pay 1000 yen, you can drink all the alcohol you want. There are many types of alcohol. Last order for drinks is until 10pm, so you can enjoy it until late at night. This is a soft drink.

I’ll be taking a hot spring bath, so I’ll refrain from drinking alcohol and instead have a glass of apple juice. I came to the hot spring pool on the rooftop. The hot spring pool is open until 10pm. The hot spring public bath is open until 24:00.

This is what the cup in the guest room is for. Beppu doesn’t have many tall buildings, so the view from the rooftop is great. In addition to the hot spring pool, there is also a jacuzzi, sauna, and cold bath. There was no one there at this time. This is a water bath.

The sauna is one of the largest tent saunas in Japan. The hot spring pool continues into the back. Beppu is surrounded by mountains, so you can enjoy views of nature as well as the cityscape. The water temperature was 34℃, so it might be a little cold in winter.

The hot springs are natural hot springs. There is also a shower. The jacuzzi has a nice temperature and once you go, you won’t want to leave. lol I’m going to go have dinner. I arrived at the ramen shop “Ichome Ramen Main Branch”. Menu is reasonable! And it tastes delicious!

The thin noodles are entwined with the pork bone soup, and the char siu is thin but meaty and very satisfying. I also ordered gyoza filled with juicy meat. Dessert is a must after a meal. I came to the famous gelato shop “Hyashichi Kakobo Genova”. It’s fun to choose as there are various flavors.

You can also take it home. I’m back at the hotel. It has large pulp and is very delicious. I wish I had bought another flavor. good morning. It’s breakfast time. This restaurant has a calm and comfortable Japanese modern space with a lattice motif. Choose from Japanese or Western food for the main menu.

In addition to the main menu, there is a half buffet. There weren’t many types, but each one was delicious. The half buffet has about 15 types of food and 13 types of small dishes. Since it’s close to Beppu Station, it might be a good idea to eat breakfast somewhere else.
