【沖縄旅行】12月なのに暑すぎた沖縄🌺3泊4日の旅④(3日目前編)モデル猫🐈に会えるヤチムンの里&サンタ🎅に占拠されたアメリカンビレッジ【沖縄観光】 Vol.75 [MULTI SUB/4K]
Good morning! This is E-Ma. Unfortunately it’s been cloudy since this morning (´・ω・`). Iejima Tacchu, which I climbed yesterday, also looks hazy. This is the first part of the 3rd day of our 3 nights and 4 days trip to Okinawa.
I checked out of the hotel in Motobu town where I stayed for two nights. I will head to Naha City, where I will be staying at my hotel for the night. I would like to travel while sightseeing (´ー`). If the sky isn’t blue, the palm trees won’t stand out (;´・ω・).
We have arrived at our first destination today. [Onna Village Seaside Park Nabby Beach] I wasn’t sure whether to stop by because the weather was bad. I think I’ll go for a little walk. The Shisa with one hand raised is very cute (*’▽’). It seems like you can also have BBQ here.
The beach party looks fun(*’∀’). There are two beautiful spots on Nabee Beach. The first swing. Following Iejima, it is broken again (>_<). Even with this kind of weather, the sea is still beautiful (´ー`). This is the second great spot. "Blessing Bell"
It seems that the motif is the bell of the wedding hall as a photo wedding spot. I wish they would add a real bell too... After leaving Nabee Beach, I drove south for about 20 minutes. [Women's Station]. I think I'll eat something after I take a break.
I get confused when there are so many delicious-looking things lined up (^▽^;). [Ryu-pin] is popular for its fruit-filled shaved ice. I thought about eating it, but since mangoes are frozen this time of year, I decided against it. It's empty compared to summer. I was able to take a leisurely look inside the store.
We also sell fruits and vegetables. All-you-can-stuff bean sprouts is also unique to Okinawa. ``Mituya Honpo'' in Sata Andagi was closed. I have to decide what to eat. In the end, I bought it at the last kamaboko shop I saw. Juicy Bomb 350 yen. It feels more like "Satsumaage" than "Kamaboko".
It has a ``juicy'' rice ball inside and is delicious (´ー`). Did you drink a lot of juice like this when you were a child? I would like to ``twist and pop!'' as written on the bag... It won't open at all (;・∀・). In the end, it was done by force ( *´艸`).
It started to rain. Move to your next destination. As we approached our destination, the rain almost stopped (´ー`). There's a parking lot on the right, but there's another one ahead, so I'll go there. We have arrived. [Yachimun no Sato]. There are 19 ``Yachimun (pottery) workshops'' gathered here.
In 1974, Naha City banned the use of wood-fired kilns. The late Living National Treasure Jiro Kinjo moved his kiln from Tsuboya, Naha City to Yomitan Village. It is said that many potters began to gather here from then on.
A cat welcomed us in front of the climbing kiln in the center of Yachimun no Sato (´ー`). Fluffy (≧▽≦). It's a position similar to that of a model (*´艸`). They also let me take lots of photos. I gave her a snack as a modeling fee (*'▽').
Since it wasn't off-limits, I was able to take a look inside the climbing kiln. This climbing kiln was apparently created by four potters in 1980. Burning takes place in March, June, September, and December. For about three days, craftsmen take turns watching over the fire to keep it going.
A large climbing kiln with a red tile roof and stone walls. It is said to be 25m long. [Kitagama joint store]. There are beautiful Yachimun tableware and cups lined up. It's fun just looking at it (*'▽'). I like this blue cup that gives you a feel of Okinawa (´ー`).
I went to the toilet. Even a place like this is ``Yachimun'' (´ー`). It starts to rain as we drive. It stops when you reach your destination. Of course, the better the weather, the better. This is Lucky(*'∀'). I came to [Yomitan Farmers Market Yunta Market].
Whenever I come to Okinawa, I always stop by the farmers market at least once. I wonder if there are any rare items~(´ー`). I saw two red torii gates lined up. Ahead is a US military base with a torii gate. It is called [Tory Station].
There was a place near here that I had been interested in for some time, so I decided to take a detour. A mural was suddenly painted in front of the grave a few years ago. Could this be a work by Banksy? It was a hot topic.
It was already starting to disappear and there was even graffiti written on it (;´・ω・). Next we headed to [American Village]. This colorful building. No matter how many times I come, I get excited (´ー`). I would like to start with "Depot Central".
At this time of year, the whole town is colored in Christmas colors. The shark had turned pink. I can't pass... I thought it was Christmas, but it's still in Halloween style (^_^;). The area around the building was filled with Christmas decorations (´ー`).
There are many objects where you can show your face, so you can take as many photos as you like (*'▽'). It might be more beautiful to come here at night. [Long Softcream] This is my first attempt at making Japan's longest soft serve ice cream (*'▽').
When you place your order, they give you a lecture on how to eat it before they start making it. It's getting longer and longer. Stack the cones until the bottom touches the bottom and you're done ヾ(≧▽≦)ノ. Can you eat well? It tasted like a refreshing mango sorbet (´ー`).
Is it the best taste in Japan? ( *´艸`). Even so, there are Santas everywhere you look. I came here just before [Christmas Land], which is Christmas all year round. Locomotive bear. Santa riding... This area was even more in the Christmas mood than usual (´ー`). It's fun to feel Christmas wherever I walk (*'▽').
Now that I'm here, let's go to that place (´ー`). Cake(*'∀'). by the way…. Which one is the real Santa? (´・ω・). It looks even more beautiful here at night. I arrived at the usual place (´ー`). The weather is bad. This is a typical Okinawa scenery in winter. When I look at this view...
I'm thinking of coming in the summer. I end up visiting it many times (´ー`). Next time is the second part of the 3rd day of our 3 nights and 4 days trip to Okinawa. I hope this video is of some help to you.
