Okinawa, Ishigaki・Hateruma 4 Nights 5 Days Solo Trip How to Spend a Day in Ishigaki Island? There are also power spots! Corporate Employee Solo Traveler Okinawa・Ishigaki & Hateruma #4 Nice to meet you or hello! This is who I am!

Here’s the itinerary for this trip. If you have any recommendations for Ishigaki Island, please let me know 🙂 Good morning. Today is the final day, with the flight departing at 18:10, so I’ll explore Ishigaki Island for the day.

I’ve only been to Kabira Bay in Ishigaki Island, so this time, I’ll head north for the first time. After a leisurely drive, I arrived at the first destination in about 30 minutes. Wow, it’s amazing! I wanted to see this sky even in Hateruma Island… haha

Well, even though I came during the off-season, I’m grateful just to see such clear skies. The Hiraizumi Peninsula, where this observatory is located, is called the “Tail of the Shisa” due to its shape. It takes about 10 minutes to walk to the observatory, and the path was beautiful. Wow, amazing view!

White beaches really enhance the blue of the sea. Since Okinawa has few rivers, there is not much sand flowing from the land, and the sand deposited from the sea is white… I’ve arrived at the next destination.

The admission fee for this limestone cave seems quite high for a cave, but since I’m here, I’ll go in. Lots of plants that look like they belong in the jungle… Once again, it seems there are no other customers besides me.

It turns out that traveling alone means visiting places with almost no people. Haha. The Sabichi Limestone Cave emerged from the seabed 270 million years ago. Incredible stalactites. It’s hard to believe they formed naturally. It seems that there are over 70 limestone caves in Japan with a length of over 1,000 meters.

When I went to the limestone cave in Mt. Fuji a long time ago, there was an incredible line, and I waited for several tens of minutes. Having this large limestone cave all to myself feels like a luxurious indulgence. Haha.

By the way, the limestone cave at Mt. Fuji cost 350 yen. With so few people, I guess 1,200 yen is understandable considering maintenance costs… There’s even free Wi-Fi. Haha. This area seems to be a coral fossil group.

And, embarrassingly, on this trip, I learned for the first time that coral is not a plant but an animal… Corals move, you know. Apparently, they also perform photosynthesis. After passing through the limestone cave, it seems to lead to the seaside. It feels adventurous.

I walked quite a bit, and from here, the path further splits, and it’s challenging. Haha. As a 30-year-old single woman, I’ll prioritize the (?) power spot. Haha. There it is! This is apparently a power spot where you can become happy.

Until I edited, I thought the rock with the growing tree was the power spot, but apparently, it’s the rock on the right. Haha. (It seems to look like a turtle) Quite pressed for time, but I also came to the seaside. Amazing! I’m glad I came—already feeling happy.

The analogy might not be great, but it seems to have higher transparency than a swimming pool. Haha. I’ve reached the northernmost point of Ishigaki Island! Amazing. This might be the most beautiful sea on this trip. Both the sea and the mountains with deep green create a beautiful contrast.

I’ve been to the Mediterranean before, which was stunning with cobalt blue, but Okinawa shines with emerald green against the white beaches. A lighthouse and the sea that could appear in a painting. It’s called the “Lighthouse of Love,” but maybe it could have a more sophisticated name. Haha

It was such a wonderful blue that I took a few photos… Since I’ve come to the corner of the island, I’ll head back to the central area. Although the leisurely drive was enjoyable, I couldn’t shoot videos while driving,

So in the edit, it looks like I’m just staring at the sea endlessly. Haha (Well, that’s what I was doing.) be driving… I’ve arrived at the last destination of the driving trip! Except for marine activities, this should be the most famous tourist spot in Ishigaki.

Kabira Bay, considered the best scenic spot in Ishigaki! Kabira Bay has coral reefs, so there’s a glass-bottom boat activity, and you can see corals without entering the sea. American design. I’ll check out the observatory. I’ve come to the first tourist spot on this trip where there are actually people. Haha

I’ll chug the Okinawa limited edition cola I bought yesterday here. Haha It doesn’t look like it at all, but swimming is prohibited because of the fast current. I’ll park the car in a large parking lot near the harbor and have lunch and do some shopping. The Okinawa soba shop that my friend recommended.

It’s said to have long lines, but since it was past the peak time, I got in right away. The place is full of autographs, and surprisingly, soba starts from 500 yen, which is surprisingly cheap.

The famous Yaeyama soba, which is like yakisoba, is well-known, but I really wanted to try Okinawan pork soba, and it was delicious. It’s about time to return the car, so I’ll do some souvenir shopping.

I like spicy things, so I want Okinawan pepper cororess. I’ll look for them at the joint shop I scouted yesterday. (I wrote that I bought it last time, but I realized during the final edit that I bought it on the last day.) There were also many stylish apparels. The tote bags are cute.

I bought a lot of Zima Tofu, which I love. By the way, at the airport, the ones without boxes were sold a bit cheaper. I wish I had bought them without a box. The company’s character shop for the Cool I drank at Kabira Bay. The Showa vibe is cute.

There’s even a space for Instagram posts! You can’t play like this when you come alone. So! I’ll send the things I bought and won’t use immediately from the post office after returning home! Thanks to the incredibly polite delivery services in Japan, I can entrust my luggage with peace of mind and feel grateful…

Refuel the gas tank… Returned the rental car. Back at Ishigaki Airport! I bet I could see the starry sky tonight. There are quite a few souvenir shops at the airport, and it might be good to buy here. Parting ways with the vinyl sheet I used extensively on Hateruma Island. Haha

Since I have some time, I’ll have ice cream to pass the time… There’s a photo of Hateruma, which I visited, at the airport, and my excitement rises. Okinawa has items that are prohibited to bring from the mainland, so please be careful. And! Near the gate! Guess what!

The Ishigaki Island pudding (Zima Tofu) I’ve been looking for is here!!! It’s less than half the price of online shopping! So happy. Perhaps because of the short expiration date, it wasn’t available at the souvenir shops.

Sea grapes seem a bit more expensive here than in the city, but it’s grateful that I can buy them here. So, the 4 nights, 5 days trip in Okinawa is over! I spent my time enjoying the sea view, studying, and drinking. It was a great trip! Goodbye Okinawa, I’ll come back!

In no time, I arrived at Narita… Back to Tokyo Station! Please look forward to the next video. Next time, Vietnam. 5 nights, 7 days whirlwind tour. Ho Chi Minh, Danang, Hanoi. Immersed in coffee. If this video was helpful, Please subscribe and give it a thumbs up. Thank you.
