二次世界大戦後、大日本帝国陸軍が弾薬を保管していた土地に引揚者や戦災者が移り住み、自然と市場が形成された。

Head west from JR Akabane Station in Kita Ward, Tokyo, and you will find a shopping street Kirigaoka chuou.
