What is Izumo?
According to Japanese mythology, Man god, who was Exiled from god, got rid of Yamata-no-Orochi when he went down to Izumo (with his son Iso-takeru in Nihon Shoki), and Kushinada-hime. He gave birth to Yashimajinumi-no Kami = Yashimajinumi-no Kami with Goddess. God who made Japan, the fifth-generation grandson, pioneered Izumo Province with the small name Sukuna bi konakami and the big lord god. Susa Shrine, which is listed as Susa Shrine in "Fudoki of Izumo Province", was erected, and Izumo Taisha Shrine, whose deity is Okuninushi, was also erected.
The influence of Izumo Province before this decree was found in various parts of Japanese mythology, and since most of the myths of Japanese creation are stories of Izumo and its surroundings, there is a view that its spiritual influence was enormous. It is mainstream. However, it eventually fell to the Yamato kingdom, and it was given to the famous Kuniyuzuri myth (the gods who manage the world living in heaven = Amaterasu "give Japan" and the gods of the lower world = Okuninushi no Mikoto the Japanese archipelago. It is thought that it was written in "Nihon Shoki" as a myth. The Izumo Taisha Shrine, which was built as a condition for the transfer of the country, is still worshiped from all over the country. Furthermore, Izumo Province (Mr. Kitajima, Mr. Senke), who holds the ritual of Izumo Taisha, is equivalent to the imperial family as the grandchildren of Amehono-Hinomikoto, the second child of Amaterasu Omikami. Boasting the length of the pedigree, the name "Kuni-no-Miyatsu" is also the official title used in the ancient decree, so the length of its history can be read.
In July 崇神天皇60 (BC38), Emperor Sujin had "Takehiratorino-mikoto (Kojiki)) (Ame-no-hohi no Ko) from heaven. The sacred treasure that came in is stored in Izumo Taisha, so I want to see it.
