How to BUILD the MOST POPULAR Japanese Yatai from Scratch

I honestly enjoy it when I’m making it. I am a person who enjoys making things. I made the blueprints on my own. I’ll make it myself and there’s no one to check it for me. Build it once per the blueprints and come to the site.

I notice my mistakes myself. Like, “Oh, this place is bad. I have to admit, it’s fun when I’m making them. I’m a guy who likes to make things, and I enjoy it. I like it simply because I like it. I wonder how customers will react when I present it to them.

It’s fun, isn’t it The one with the line here. This is not a defective product or anything. It’s called a back split. Wood expands and contracts in this way. There’s water in it, and when the water is drained, it expands and contracts. That’s when the wood splits. to prevent that wood from cracking.

Don’t break the part you don’t like or the part that the customer can see. I’ll break it in advance. Back-splitting to prevent cracks from appearing in other places if you split here. A single board of this size is too expensive. It’s easier to work with the floorboards in small pieces.

All you have to do is put in a can-can-can. Really… a building like this? I like the cypress for the costumes, or rather, the fascinating parts. Structural parts: Cypress should not be used too much for this kind of thing. You know, cypresses, they’re not very soft.

The cypress I got, the pillars are cypress. I also want to match it with the hinoki cypress, which has a beautiful grain. The pattern is so beautiful! Also, I like the way it smells. Do you make it yourself? You’re not a carpenter. I’m a carpenter originally.

Oh, so that’s why you’re so dexterous like this. I’ve been doing a lot of eating and drinking lately, though, so my hands have deteriorated a lot. No, but, oh no, that’s great. But it’s fun to make something like this, isn’t it? It’s interesting, I like it.

I made blueprints… blueprints that I made myself. I made the drawings by myself, and I built it by myself. So there is no one to check it. Even if I make a mistake in some calculation, there’s no one to point it out to me.

Build it once per the blueprints and come to the site. Recognize your own mistakes yourself. Oh, like, this place is bad. When you have something like that, you have to fix it again. It’s this pillar. Round columns in a food stall, because no one is stupid enough to use these.

That’s the thing… first of all, it’s heavy. But that’s a non-negotiable point. This is a waterproof seal. The joints of the boards and the screws. We will finish over this again. Leaking water is unlikely, but just in case. Leakage countermeasures This is preservative, half from the bottom of the stall

It inevitably rains on them. To prevent that, to prevent that from happening, because that’s how they rot. It still works, in case you’re wondering. It’s not going to go away anytime soon, so we’ll have to use it.

I’d like to say that all the food stalls are going to be new, but I’d like to say that they’re all going to be clean. But, let’s just say, it’s a chair that’s supported me for 30 years or so. We want to use what we can.

I’m just taking a ride on this one. If you move the stall, it won’t move so easily because it’s so heavy There is a possibility of misalignment. Screw in here and stop. I’m tired, I’m good for a while I still like making that stuff at all, and it’s fun.

It’s okay to have a lot of thoughts and feelings about it. The place and environment for making the product must be prepared first. The cost is 500,000 yen. We made it for 500,000 yen.

How Abe-san built the most popular Japanese yatai from scratch by himself, while incorporating traditional Japanese carpentry techniques. His Yatai is definitely the most beautiful yatai we have ever been to, we think you will agree!
