秋の京都　紅葉巡り2023 第４回 真如堂

Kyoto in autumn is filled with autumn leaves. Autumn Kyoto autumn leaves tour 2023. This shooting was on November 25, 2023. For the fourth time, we will visit Shinnyodo Temple, which is famous as a famous spot for autumn leaves. Please see access from Kyoto Station.

From Kyoto Station Karasumaguchi A1 bus stop, take the 5th bus. Get off at Kinrin Shako-mae. It’s about an 8 minute walk. There is also a bus stop called Shinnyodo-mae, but it is a little further away than Kinrin Shako-mae. The official name of Shinnyodo Temple is Reishozan Shinshō Gokurakuji.

This is a Tendai sect temple founded in 984. The common name Shinnyodo is taken from the name of the main hall. You can enjoy the beautiful scenery of each season in the spacious grounds, but the splendor of the autumn leaves is especially noteworthy. Enjoy the autumn leaves at Shinnyodo Temple.

This concludes the daytime shooting on November 25, 2023. After photographing Shinnyodo, we will move to Saga and head to Daikakuji Osawa Pond. Next time, we will take a night walk in Kyoto and see the illumination of Osawa Pond, Japan’s oldest lake garden. Stay tuned.
