It’s a small Kyoto. It’s a very nice cityscape. The city is small. So we can go sightseeing on foot. This is a landmark of Izushi. It is Japan’s oldest clock tower. Izushi is famous for soba. You must eat soba here.

I want to go to this cafe. Because the canelé looks very delicious. This is a rice cracker shop. You can eat this on the spot. We bought two halves. It’s a little warm. It’s that simple. Can you hear the sound? The seaweed is big. It was over soon. We waited 30 minutes.

The soba noodles are on a small plate. Have you ever eaten soba? It’s very healthy. That’s 5 small plates for one person. It is made by grinding Japanese soba noodles using a stone mill. Everything is handmade. It is in limited quantity. Therefore, it may be sold out. This soba is very delicious.

There are many types of soba, so it’s fun. we added them. The set also includes yams and eggs. You can enjoy changing the taste. When you are done eating, add the soba boiled water. This is delicious. I’m full. So I’m going to take a little walk. We arrived at the samurai’s house.

It is the home of a senior samurai. It was built in the late Edo period. Let’s take a tour. There is a samurai! Let’s take a photo! Did you think this house only has one floor? There is a secret second floor. That staircase is so narrow! Please be careful!

The ceiling on the second floor is very low. Do you know why? This is to prevent you from swinging the sword. It was also used for secret meetings. I like this window. Please be careful! There are other exhibits as well. Let’s move on to the next one.

Next, we will go to the oldest playhouse in the Kinki region. I have arrived. Please show your samurai house ticket at the ticket office. will be discounted. It opened in 1901. After that, it was closed once. It was revived 44 years later. Kabuki is performed there. You can visit it on holidays.

We can stand on stage. Additionally, you can take a look behind the scenes. It’s a very valuable experience. I move to the cafe. It’s very crowded there. I gave up. It gets a little crowded after noon. I’ll move on to the next cafe. That’s a little far away.

It is near Izushi Castle. This is a coffee shop that feels like a hideaway. Coffee is popular there. I also want to eat cake. I ordered apple cake and blended coffee. Looks very delicious! Let’s eat! It is very tasty! A very fluffy sponge. It’s apple compote. And it’s covered in caramel. bittersweet.

I really liked it. We finally go to the shrine. The shrine is 7 minutes away by car. It is also recorded in the Nihon Shoki and Kojiki. It is a famous shrine. That god is the god of civil engineering. Many people also come here to pray for fulfillment in love and safe childbirth.
