The bright wooden walls’ combination. Front desk and cafe space. Amenities next to the front desk. Razors, earplugs, hair ties, headphones. Body towels, cotton swabs, toothbrushes. Cotton pads, moisturizing cream, lotion, cleansing. Face wash, shaving products. Self-service coffee for a fee. Photos of Atagoyama on the walls. Maybe from a festival in Atagoyama?
Tables and sofas with power outlets for PC work. Further inside the lounge, there’s a vending machine. They even have alcohol. There’s a reservation-only workspace. Partitioned off for web meetings. The lounge can be used as a cafe & bar. Open to non-staying guests too. Staying guests can bring their own food and drinks.
Menu includes snacks, cup noodles, and alcoholic beverages. There’s a toaster, microwave, and electric kettle. The tempting donuts are for a fee, but there’s a free welcome drink. Let’s go ahead and enjoy a cup. 👍 Now, let’s head to the room. Quick quiz time! I’ll make a mistake somewhere in the hotel.

Men-only floors are from the 3rd to 5th floors. Heading to my cabin room. Deodorizing spray for rent outside the entrance. Humidifiers. Lint rollers. I’ll tap my card key. My room is… This way. Atagoyama has both First and Business Class cabins, but I chose Business Class this time. Here it is.
Oh, it’s spacious! I like the gray color scheme in the back. The high ceiling makes it feel even more spacious, doesn’t it? I, at 163cm tall, can easily stand on the bed. Looks like a space where I can sleep comfortably. I’ll close the roll curtain and start the room tour.
Amenities I brought from the front desk. Toothbrush and toothpaste. Earphones. Cotton pads and Q-tips. A towel for washing. Skincare products. It’s helpful to have skincare sets, as many business hotels don’t provide them anymore. Slippers. Trash can. Three hangers. They’re designed not to make noise.
Let’s see what’s inside the bag hanging next to the hangers. Indoor clothes. A face towel and a bath towel. The indoor clothes are separate tops and bottoms. If the size is too small, they’ll change it to an L size. There’s a headphone jack by the bed. Two power outlets. Air conditioner.
A knob to adjust the lighting. TV remote and tissues. There’s a security box on the shelf next to the bed. It’s a bit heavy. 💦 Use earphones to watch TV. While watching TV, I heard someone outside saying, “Excuse me, guest.” And now for the answer to the quiz.
The correct answer was [I entered the wrong room]! The hotel staff quickly swapped my card, and everything was resolved. Also, the hotel kindly let me see the First Class cabin. It’s twice the size of the Business Class. Nice to have a table and a mirror in there. Other amenities include luggage storage
And a trouser press. There are extra blankets available for loan. The women’s public bath is on the 7th floor. Let’s go downstairs and check it out. It’s very clean and well-maintained. Hairdryers and a hair iron are available. Lockers that can be locked. Instructions on how to use the public bath.
Let’s take a look at the public bath. It’s quite spacious. Looks like a relaxing place. There are four washing areas. Shampoo, conditioner, and body wash are provided. Besides the public bath, there’s one shower room. There are also two coin laundries. One restroom. A box for returning used towels.
Let’s go to the washroom on the 8th floor. There are three sinks on the 8th floor as well. Hairdryers and hair irons are also available here. It was a bit crowded in the morning. Restroom. Very clean. Heading out for dinner. Meeting my daughter in Tokyo for an izakaya dinner. Miyako Utsushi.
It was empty when it opened, but quickly filled up. Cheers to our reunion after such a long time! Tomato slices. Japanese rolled omelet. Enjoying it with soy sauce and grated radish. Grilled hormone skewers. The chewy texture is delicious. Tuna chunks. There’s some fatty tuna mixed in! Yum!
Fried rice with tiny fish and Nozawana greens. The restaurant is lively with people after work. Chicken sasami and avocado with wasabi soy sauce. Incredibly reasonable and everything was delicious!! Highly recommended! Heading to see Tokyo Tower. Tokyo Tower reflected in the buildings looks beautiful. My daughter keeps saying how cute Tokyo Tower is… “♪～”
“Let’s stay at that luxury hotel tonight.” “Okay.” “Don’t go to school” “Stay at the top of that hotel.” “Mom, stay at that luxury hotel for about a week without working.” “Okay.” A fun evening walk with my daughter, filled with imaginative stories. Slowly getting closer to Tokyo Tower. We’ve arrived at Tokyo Tower.
Beautiful from afar and up close… We took a peek inside the souvenir shop at Tokyo Tower. Ninja Hello Kitty. So cute. I had a great time reuniting with my daughter. Back at the hotel now. Took a bath, brushed my teeth, and spent the evening watching TV and reading. Goodnight.
Good morning. Check-out is at 10 a.m. Trash goes in the trash bin! Used towels and room wear are returned to the collection box. Card keys are returned at the front desk’s key drop. It was a very clean and comfortable capsule hotel!
