[京都]長期滞在/ホテル/東急ステイ三条烏丸/Kyoto Tokyu Stay Sanjo Karasuma

After my trip to Wakayama, I went to Kyoto. Keihan premium car(Yodoyabashi-Kyoto) Just add 500 yen to your ticket and get a reserved seat. Not many people know about it yet, so there are a lot of empty seats. My hometown, Kyoto, is 50 minutes away. I arrived in Kyoto.

I live in Australia and was able to return to Japan for the first time in four years. Kamogawa was so beautiful! I plan to stay at a hotel in Kyoto for one month. I will introduce you to delicious restaurants and tourist spots.

Once you cross this bridge, there will be a Starbucks with a view of the Kamogawa River on your right. My favorite Ogawa coffee. The view from the second floor is amazing. Kiyamachi got its name from the many timber merchants that lined it during the Edo period.

Nowadays, there are many restaurants, and the street is especially lively at night. During the season, the cherry blossoms that bloom along the Takase River are very beautiful. It was just a 5 minute walk from Sanjo Keihan to where I am now. This is the Sanjo Kawaramachi intersection.

If you go south, there are many shops and you will arrive at Shijo Kawaramachi. If you are using the Tozai subway line, please go north to Oike Street. Walk straight along Sanjo Dori from east to west and head towards the hotel.

There were so many foreign tourists that it was difficult to find a Japanese person. Japanese sweets cafe Umezono Teramachi shopping street Walk straight from east to west. There is also a delicious chocolate shop and delicious croissant Paul on Sanjo Dori. “Kyoto Cultural Museum” You can learn about Kyoto’s history and culture here.

Once you cross Karasuma-dori, the subway Karasuma Line, you will be near the hotel. When you turn north on Ryogaemachi-dori, you will see the hotel. Apparently this is an annex and you need to go to the main building to check in.

The entrance to the main building is a little far back and difficult to see. I successfully completed check-in. My room was in the annex from earlier. There is no front desk in the annex, so it looks like this. You can pick up your own amenities here. There was another door to the room.

My room is on the 4th floor, so I walk to the elevator. I need the key again. When I touched the key, the button for the 4th floor was automatically turned on, which surprised me. It’s safe.

The room I would be living in for a while was far away from the elevator and quiet. Tokyu Stay has many services that are great for long-term stayers. The mini kitchen had dishes, cutlery, pots and knives. There was also a good sized refrigerator.

What I was most happy about was the microwave, washing machine, and dryer. The bathroom is also spacious enough. After unpacking my suitcase, it was already time for dinner. For dinner, I walked to Takashimaya in Shijo Kawaramachi. It’s not particularly related to Kyoto, but I wanted to eat eel!
