How to Spend 3 days in Prague! The Most Beautiful Christmas Market in Europe
Hello, it’s Anna 🙂 I was going to show you another video about Bali, but let me show you the Christmas market in Prague first 🙂 Because Christmas is around the corner and I just visited the Christmas market in Prague. I hope you like this video! My flight was around noon from Zurich.
It takes about 1 hour to get to Prague. I didn’t know the aircraft had this mini screen. It’s white and it looks…cold xD But I hope I can see some snow for the Christmas market. I just landed in Prague and I’m going to head to the hotel first.
You can take a direct bus from the Prague airport to the Prague main station. It costs CZK100. You can buy a ticket at the airport. The airport bus is near Terminal 1. The bus comes every 30 minutes. You need to stamp the time on your ticket.
This is my first time to visit Prague and I had wanted to visit here to see the Christmas market. We’re close to the city now. Have you ever visited Prague before? or have you ever been to the Christmas market here? This is the main station.
I will head to the hotel on foot to see the city. I really like this retro tram in Prague! so cute 🙂 This is the hotel, Grandior Hotel. It’s located in the old town of Prague but at the edge. It looks nice 🙂 I will do a quick room tour.
The door looks retro and good. a closet 2 bathrobes…nice 🙂 a safety box, a shoe cleaner and an iron set They offer some good tea and coffee. English breakfast, Ginger tea, Green tea etc. Oh, these are NOT complimentary. You have to be careful! These drinks are not free either.
I need to go to a supermarket later. This room is facing the road. But it is not loud at all. a big bed with some pillows 🙂 But I can tell that these pillows are so-so for me.haha I would take this but in the end, I didn’t use any of these xD
Let’s check out the bathroom. It looks nice with a bathtub. shampoo and conditioner from RITUALS but no toothbrushes body lotion! nice Let’s explore and have dinner now. Prague is so beautiful, isn’t it? How many of you are from Prague? I’m just curious. I got a recommendation for a brewery, called U Fleků.
It looks cool. wow…so a lot of beer So…this brewery was established in 1499. It’s the most popular and oldest brewery in Prague. They offer over 1,200 seats! wow. When we made a phone call to make a reservation, they said “Reservation is no needed. just walk in.” Now I understand the reason.
Oh, well…many people say pork knuckle is not a Czech dish, but it was good. (CZK 339) The dark beer was CZK 79. The city is more beautiful at night…I think. It’s shining with the lights. That’s the most famous bridge, Charles Bridge. Many people are checking and crossing the bridge now.
I just walked only 50m or so xD I will cross this bridge tomorrow. Prague has beautiful buildings with lots of history and the bridge/river. This is the famous Christmas Market in Prague. They are preparing it now. The horses look cold :/ Wow…! This Christmas Market has been open since December 2nd this year.
I will go to the Christmas Market on the 2nd! Good morning 🙂 Before exploring the city, I need a good breakfast. There’s a pianist, playing for us. How fancy it is. Those sweets were just so-so for me. many types of cheese Bon appetit! We will join a free tour at 10:30.
Before that, let’s walk around and I have to buy a 24-hour ticket today. If you take a tram/a tram more than 4 times a day, it’s better to buy a 24-hour ticket. This is the 2nd (?) biggest station and you can buy the ticket here. The 24-hour ticket costs CZK120.
A cute tram again 🙂 I can’t stop recording this tram.haha You can walk around Prague easily, but the journey with the tram is also good. It’s beautiful 🙂 Let’s go to the Charles Bridge where there is a meet-up point. I didn’t know about a free tour thing, but many cities have this tour.
It’s free but most people pay some at the end of the tour. Have you ever joined any free tours in other countries? Were they good? 🙂 This is the meet-up point. Charles Bridge is a medieval stone arch bridge that crosses the Vltava River in Prague, Czech Republic.
Its construction started in 1357 under the auspices of King Charles IV, and finished in the early 15th century. As the only means of crossing the river Vltava until 1841, Charles Bridge was the most important connection between Prague Castle and the city’s Old Town and adjacent areas.
This area is Malá Strana, also known as Lesser Town, is a hillside area with views across the Vltava River to the old town. I like to walk around this area as well. When you walk around here,

You can see the city of Prague 🙂 Beautiful! You can see the Changing of the Guard Ceremony at Prague Castle. But you have to be here at the hour. The Metropolitan Cathedral of Saints Vitus, Wenceslaus and Adalbert is a Catholic metropolitan cathedral in Prague, and the seat of the Archbishop of Prague.
Until 1997, the cathedral was dedicated only to Saint Vitus, and is still commonly named only as St. Vitus Cathedral. This cathedral is a prominent example of Gothic architecture and is the largest and most important church in the country.
Located within Prague Castle and containing the tombs of many Bohemian kings and Holy Roman Emperors, the cathedral is under the ownership of the Czech government as part of the Prague Castle complex. Prague is very beautiful. After this walking tour, I was very tired/cold, so I took some rest at the hotel.
The temperature has dropped a lot in Prague, and it’s getting cold. But with snow, the city is more charming. It doesn’t mean that I want to have snow if I live here though xD This is Pardubická pivnice u Járy. Let’s try! This is the menu. It’s simple and good.
And the atmosphere is very nice here. The interior is retro and maybe they have fewer tourists than the restaurants in the old town. Pork glaush is CZK165. This was very very delicious! But I heard this is more like a Hungarian dish xD :/ This is Apple Strudel (CZK55).
Good morning! Today’s the day for the Christmas Market!! It looks super cold, so you may need a down jacket here in winter. wow…xD When it snows a lot, it’s better to take a tram. Walking is so tiring. Bistro Monk for brunch but… I really needed somewhere to warm myself…
Avocado Bali is CZK278 and Chai latte is CZK115 This place is popular, and when I arrived here it was almost full. The town is very white and nice. This is a cool classic car! After walking and exploring a little bit, I was cold and tired again :/
But also, I wanted to check out this cafe. This place is also popular. Or maybe most of them do like I do because it’s too cold outside.haha Hot chocolate is CZK89. I’m so happy, just looking at the town from the inside. I wanted to stay here longer…but
It’s time to check out the Christmas Market. Finally, here I am 🙂 It’s really cold but beautiful with snow! a big pork Although it’s snowing a lot, many people come and enjoy the Christmas Market. This is so perfect only for 1 hour or so xD It looks good.
I wanted to check the clock at 1 p.m. and many people have gathered already here. …? That’s it…? xD Okay….back to the Christmas Market now. I will get one of those. This is CZK150. It was hot and tasty. The next one is Trdelnik.
I saw many Trdelnik in the town…but this is also not a Czech thing. Can you believe this? But it was so good 🙂 I can’t eat pork and pork and pork 3 days in a row, so what I chose for the last meal was… sushi (fusion) xD
I heard Prague has many good Asian food, and everything is super expensive in Switzerland, I wanted to have some in Prague. This is Yami Sushi Bistro. The menu looks good in combination with Japanese, Korean, Mexican etc. They have some nigiri sushi as well. This has some salmon with tacos.
And American roll with soft shell crab. The price was…CZK1019 but! It’s much more reasonable than Switzerland. Prague is a lovely town and I like it a lot, especially the Christmas Market 🙂 I hope you enjoy this travel vlog. Have a great weekend and see you next Friday!

Hi Anna and thanks for the video. I went to Prague in 2000 with a group of friends to see Wales play the Czech Republic in a soccer match. I don't have many happy memories of the place. I found many of the buildings to have a lot of graffiti on them and there was some African touts hassling us on the streets to visit their pubs. My friends only wanted to go drinking in Prague so I didn't get a chance to really see anything apart from the astronomical clock and Charles bridge. I do want to go back and see the city properly in the future. It looks really nice in winter and I'm glad you enjoyed it there. Take care of yourself and have a wonderful weekend.

Der schönste Weihnachtsmarkt Europas ist also in Prag?! Sorry, ich habe schon lange nicht mehr so köstlich gelacht. Die Ansammlung von Bretterbuden, egal ob Old Town Square, Wenzelsplatz oder Namesti Miru ist einfach lächerlich. Für den schönsten Weihnachtsmarkt Europas muss man schon etwas weiter nördlich fahren.
Aber was will man auch von jemandem erwarten, der im U Fleku einkehrt… 😅

This video brings back nice memories. My boyfriend and I went to Prague some years ago for three days as well and loved it. I got suckered into a cheap Groupon and while it was an amazing trip, three days is way to short of a time to go from the US. But it was great and it’s just as beautiful as I remember it being! That bridge is amazing isn’t it! Merry belated Christmas and happy new year to you!
