[Japan Travel] 7 Places Around Mount Fuji | Yamanashi, Shizuoka | An Unforgettable Trip

Hi, I’m Mei. My siblings and I are going to Shizuoka and Yamanashi to see Mt. Fuji and visit our friends. We took the Shinkansen from Shin-Osaka Station to Shizuoka Station. Everyone seems to prefer the train’s left side because of the better view of Mt. Fuji. Wow, Mt. Fuji!

I can see Mt. Fuji clearly from the local train from Shizuoka Station to Fuji Station. Let’s explore the city. The first destination is near Fuji Station. Fuji-Honcho has a beautiful view of the city and Mt. Fuji in the background. Compared to Shimoyoshida Honcho Street, it’s less crowded here.

Next, we take the train to the second spot. You can enjoy a panoramic view of Mt. Fuji from the observation deck. The view from the inside looks like a picture frame. The reflection of Mount Fuji on the water is stunning. We were also impressed by the architect of the building.

But we didn’t have enough time to explore the building because of closing time. We head to our hotel and check in. Check out the view immediately after waking up. Good morning, Mt. Fuji! I was pleasantly surprised by the view from my room. We’re staying at Toyoko Inn Shin-fuji-eki on this trip.

I highly recommend this hotel due to its stunning views, cleanliness, and affordable price range. The hotel is near Shin-Fuji station, so I was concerned about the noise. But I didn’t hear any noise from the station. The hotel offers a complimentary, basic breakfast buffet.

They also provide a free shuttle between the hotel and Fuji station. We took a walk from the hotel to Fujisan Yumeno Ohashi. It’s a unique view of the staircase that leads up to Mt. Fuji. The view from the bridge is also incredible. Oh! More people came to take pictures.

We then headed back to Fuji Station for lunch. I discovered this restaurant by using Google Maps. The guests were mainly locals. We all love this cozy atmosphere, like having a meal at home. The restaurant serves local dishes at affordable prices. You can have a nice lunch set for $6-$7.

They even prepared a set of chopsticks and a fork for the baby. Thank you for the meal. We head to the next destination by train. The view from Yunoki Station is stunning, with Mt. Fuji in the background. The pathway leading to our destination is charming and enjoyable to walk through.

I saw a lot of Sakura trees in the park. This place would be an excellent spot to visit in Spring. The park being a local one, it’s very peaceful and quiet. Let’s picnic here for a while. The local residents have gifted us with some fresh fruits. We were overjoyed and grateful.

Thank you so much for your gifts, The oranges were very sweet. We’ll never forget this memory. I’m curious about the people born and raised in this place. Seeing Mount Fuji every day makes it a part of life. “How do you feel when you are away? ” “Do you miss Mt.Fuji so much?”

Even I, as a tourist, when I see Mt. Fuji, images of it bring such strong emotions to me. We’re moving to Yamanashi prefecture to visit our friends. My brother is busy with his job. We visit the local park in Yamanashi with our friends. The cats in the park are fed well.

We had a great time. Our friends drove us to Kawaguchi Lake for a visit the next day. The lake is a famous spot for taking pictures of Mt. Fuji and Autumn leaves. Another beautiful day in beautiful places with my family and friends. I’m so grateful for it.

We walked to Momiji Corridor Lake Kawaguchi. It’s the best time to see Autumn leaves. It’s gorgeous. The persimmon trees in the street are also adorable. Despite being a weekday, this place was packed with tourists. I don’t know why, but there’s a life-size model of a Zero Fighter.

The entrance gate to the Kubota Itchiku Art Museum. We didn’t visit the museum because we had other places to go to. We just enjoyed outside the museum for a while. I’m often fascinated by gates located in beautiful gardens. Encountered owl statues along the way. How adorable!

We are moving to the popular convenience store. We’ve arrived! It’s unique, but too crowded, so we decided to leave soon. We’ve arrived at Oishi Park. It’s more beautiful than I expected. The left side of the park is quieter than the other areas. A tranquil and serene spot situated in a renowned area.

We were lucky to have visited Mount Fuji on sunny days. I couldn’t take my eyes off Mt. Fuji. and would love to visit Mt.Fuji multiple times in the future. We’re coming back to the right side of the park for ice cream. Tasty! Thank you so much, Mt. Fuji!

My heart was full of happiness and gratitude. I look forward to returning to witness the beauty of Mt. Fuji and the Sakura. Thank you so much, my new friends. We had a great trip.
