【熊本】十万山公園展望台 編 （ Vol.300 ）／天草未来大橋と天草諸島を一望【4K空撮】
Jumanyama Park Observatory Kamekawa, Kameba Town, Amakusa City Description of Jumanyama Park Observatory. On February 25, 2023, the Amakusa Mirai Ohashi Bridge (total length 1148m), which connects Amakusa Kamijima and Shimojima, opened. This is expected to ease morning and evening traffic congestion at the existing Amakusa Seto Ohashi Bridge.
Our destination this time is the Jumanyama Park Observatory, a spot that offers a panoramic view of Amakusa Mirai Ohashi Bridge and Hondo Town, Amakusa City. I visited the park once in early spring to provide information on the blooming of Kawazu cherry blossoms.
This time, I would like you to enjoy the spectacular view from Mt.Juman. Mt.Juman is 238.9m above sea level, and the area near the top has been maintained as “Jumanyama Park”. There is a wide road leading to the park, making it easy to get to.
There is an observation deck at the top, and it is a very popular place where you can see the new bridge connecting Amakusa Kamijima and Shimojima, the cityscape of Amakusa, Shimabara Bay in the north, Mt.Unzen and Fugen in Nagasaki Prefecture.
Additionally, if you look south, you can even see the islands floating in the Shiranui Sea. This time we will bring you the view from the top of the observation deck. Please enjoy. Today, I’m visiting the “Jumanyama Park Observation Deck” in Kameba Town, Amakusa City.
What looks like a river in front of you is the strait called Hondoseto that separates Amakusa Kami Island and Shimo Islnad. This Observatory is a popular viewing spot in Amakusa. Let’s take off! The sea that stretches out to the right is the Yatsushiro Sea (Shiranui Sea).
