【神社仏閣ひとり旅】「サンキュー❤ちばフリー乗車券」で千葉県房総御朱印巡り3選[御朱印500名印(No.193~195)]

This is Masaharu Goshuin Travel. This time I used this ticket to go to Boso. I discovered it by chance on a poster at the station. The detailed contents are summarized in the summary section. Change trains at Kisarazu and continue down the Uchibo Line.

On the way, I could see Tokyo Bay from the train window. Then, get off at Chikura Station and transfer to a bus from there. When you exit Chikura Station and go to the back left, there is a bus stop. From here, board the bus bound for Awa Shirahama.

There is also a bus bound for Tateyama Station from the same stop, so be careful not to take the wrong bus. By the way, you can also ride this bus with the ticket from earlier. Once you get off at the bus stop, walk in the direction the bus went.

Turn right at the next push-button traffic light. If you keep walking with the elementary school ruins on your left, you will see a temple. It was a small temple located in the mountains. It seems that “Nozoin” used to be located about 1km away. It was then rebuilt at its current location in 1551.

Inside the main hall, we expressed our gratitude and joined hands. In front of the main hall is Obinzuru-sama, who is said to have the power to heal illnesses. Stroke the same areas that are bothering you. Also, since it is a Shingon sect temple, there is a statue of Kobo Daishi.

Now, let’s take a walk around the grounds from the back left of the main hall. “Wishing Jizo”. Write your wishes on the votive tablets and pray. That left hand. The top one is Owari Inari Daimyojin, and the bottom one is Benzaiten. Further on the left is “Gongendo”. It’s Gomado.

Also, to the left of “Wishing Jizo” is “Goriyakuzaka”. As you go up the 80 steps, you will see “Izuna Daigongen.” In the middle of the slope is “Seiryu Daigongen”. Say hello and move on. On the way, I looked back and saw Tokyo Bay.

Then, when you reached the top of the hill, it looked like a plaza. Behind it is “Izuna Daigongen”. This deity originates from Mt. Iizuna in Nagano City. It is said that there is a legend of a crow tengu called “Oisuna-sama” here. From there, we could enjoy the view of Tokyo Bay.

Now, I’m back in front of the “main hall”. There are many plants planted within the precincts. I was able to order flowers of the season. Also, if you go to the back right of the main hall, there is a lotus pond.

There were no lotuses in bloom when I visited in late October, but the best time to see lotuses is from early July to early August. I would like to visit at that time.

When you return to the front of the main hall, you will see the Grave of Pet Animals and the Flower Kannon. “Rokujizo”. We put our hands together and expressed our gratitude. And the “Flower Calendar Goshuin” that I received on the day.

We have holidays, so check out the calendar on the temple’s official Instagram! Next, leave Nozo-in and return to Chikura Station to head to Komatsu-dera. Return to the previous road and head to the bus stop at Nozoin entrance. The number of buses is 1-2 per hour.

You can ride with the “Thank you Chiba Free Pass” that I used this time. There are no buses from Chikura Station, so I called a taxi to get there. There is also a shortage of staff in this area, so there are times when taxis may not be available. Be careful.

The taxi left us in front of the gate of Komatsudera Temple. This temple began with the construction of a small hermitage during the reign of Emperor Monmu (683-707). The current Niomon gate was dedicated at the end of the Edo period.

The Nio statues enshrined on both sides were also dedicated at the same time. Komatsuji Temple has a history of rise and fall. It was revived in the fourth year of Jo’an (1174), and is said to have received donations from Tokugawa Ieyasu. You can see the “Main Hall” right in front of “Niomon”.

This “main hall” is thought to have been rebuilt in 1855. A dragon sculpture can be seen on the front. In front of the main hall, we expressed our gratitude and joined hands. I could see a red torii gate on the right side of the “main hall”.

If you go up the approach, you will see “Hakusansha”. I bowed with my palms in front of the torii gate and decided to be careful when climbing. The footing is not good, so please be careful when climbing. There was a small shrine at the top of the mountain.

“Hakusansha”. There is a benefit for matchmaking and severing ties. After visiting the shrine, tie a red cloth and descend the mountain without speaking or looking back. When I returned to the main hall, several cats were relaxing. There was a bench so I sat down and

Took a break when one of them approached me. so cute. To the right of the main hall was the Kannon-do Hall. This hall was relocated during the Meiji era when Shinto and Buddhism were separated. The “Seated Statue of Sho Kanzeon Bodhisattva” created by Kobo Daishi is enshrined here.

Obinzuru was there in front of a building with a beautiful dragon sculpture. I’ll pat you on the head and pray for you. There is merit in slowing down illness. In front of Kannon-do is the Komyo Shingon Memorial Tower, which was built in 1853.

Furthermore, there is the “Stone Jizo Bodhisattva Seated Statue” erected in 1881. To the left of the Niomon Gate is the Bell Tower, which was donated in 1888. The temple bell was donated in 1374. And this is the Goshuin seal that I received on the day.

There are holidays, so please check the temple’s official Instagram before going out. Next, head from Komatsudera to Susaki Shrine. On the way back, I decided to walk 5.2km to Chikura Station. First, exit to the Awa Green Line and head north. You will collide with Prefectural Route 188, so turn right and head east.

This prefectural road. There is a lot of traffic, but be careful as there are no sidewalks along the way. There is a sidewalk along the way, which makes walking easier. On the way. I headed down a side street to stop by a popular soba restaurant. However, something seems strange…

It seems like the store is temporarily closed. Too bad… I have no choice but to walk back to Chikura Station. When you see the Seto signal at the end of the railroad crossing, turn right and head east.

Be careful as there are no sidewalks on this road even though there is a lot of traffic. Once you cross the railroad crossing again, immediately turn left and walk along the railroad tracks. Then you will see Chikura Station on your left. From Chikura Station, take a train bound for Tateyama.

Trains run at a pace of about one per hour. When I arrived at Tateyama Station, I headed to the west exit to have lunch. There was an Italian restaurant right outside the west exit, so I stopped by. The Italian restaurant is on the second floor of this building.

There was a lunch set with a choice of pasta or risotto. I was able to see the scene in front of the station from the window. Around 13:00 on weekdays. It’s not too crowded and it’s relaxing. The lunch set includes salad, focaccia, and soft drink.

This time, I ordered pasta with scallops and shrimp in tomato sauce. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal. Well, the goshuin tour has resumed. First, go to the east exit of Tateyama Station. Head to bus stop 3 at the east exit of Tateyama Station.

Board the bus that passes through Sunosaki. Be careful not to make a mistake! There are 1 or 2 buses per hour. You can also use the “Thank You Chiba Free Pass” on this bus. Get off at Sunozaki Shrine-mae bus stop and head in the direction the bus was headed.

There is no sidewalk, so proceed carefully and you will see a torii gate on your left. At the entrance to the temple grounds, there is a guide map of the temple grounds and surrounding area. Check it out first. The deity enshrined at Susaki Shrine is Tenhirinoma no Mikoto.

After bowing in front of the torii gate and moving forward, you will see “Zuishinmon” and “Yakubozaka”. To the left of the “Chozuya” is “Kotakara Sotetsu,” which has many children. “Chozuya” has an appearance that reflects the times. When I looked up at the top of the basin, I saw carvings.

If you look more closely, there are carvings on all sides of the chozuisha! I was able to purify myself at such a chozuya before visiting the shrine. To the left of the “Zuishinmon” gate was an inscription about the history of the shrine. At the bottom of the slope is Zuishinmon.

I stopped by after visiting the shrine, and the goshuin was prepared here. I bowed once at the Zuishinmon gate. “Yakubozaka” is a steep stone staircase with 148 steps. It is said that by climbing and worshiping, you can get rid of bad luck. A cane was also prepared under the stone steps.

I will try my best to climb the mountain. In the middle of the hill. When I looked back, I saw a view of Tokyo Bay. I managed to climb 148 steps and arrived in front of the shrine. A simple shrine with a rustic atmosphere.

Also, if you look back, you can see Tokyo Bay. I wonder if God is watching this scenery. In front of the shrine, I expressed my gratitude and prayed for world peace and for fewer disasters. Next, I proceeded from the right side of the shrine to the back.

Then, you will find the “main shrine” where the god is actually enshrined. The main shrine is said to have been built during the Enpo era (1673-1680). The carvings on the transom and wooden nose are so beautiful that it would be a waste to leave without seeing them.

Furthermore, shrines within the precincts are lined up to the right of the worship hall. “Nagamiya” is enshrined with 4 other gods, including “Toyotamahiko no Mikoto”. Behind it is Konpira Shrine, the god of fishing and navigation. Next, I will walk around the precincts to the left of the “haiden”. “Inari Shrine”. Solicited in 1772.

The sight of multiple red torii gates standing in a row is mysterious. In addition, there is a guide to the “Sacred Mountain Fuji Yohaisho”. I’ll try to go. Then a torii gate came into view. This is “Fujimi Torii”. Unfortunately, I couldn’t see Mt. Fuji that day.

There is a bell next to the torii gate. It’s called “The Bell of Happiness.” I tried ringing it. I hope you are happy. I returned to “Zuishinmon”. Goshuin stamps were available for self-service here. I have paid the firstfruits fee. Next, I took a walk along the sea side across the prefectural road.

Then, the “Hama no Torii” came into view. The sea is beautiful. This area has a kind of tropical atmosphere. There should be a “god stone” ahead, so I proceeded. there was. It’s easy to understand because there is a torii gate.

It protects Tokyo Bay along with the sacred stones of Awaguchi Shrine in Uraga. This is “Kasakake no Matsu” from an episode of “Minamoto no Yoritomo.” There’s a bell here too. It was evening and the letters were fading, so I couldn’t decipher them…

This is the “Bell of Happiness.” It’s fun to have so many bells. If the weather is nice, you can see not only Mt. Fuji but also Oshima and Amagi mountains. I had some time before the bus, so I relaxed for a while.

And here is the Goshuin seal that I received on the day. I was energized by the strong print. This time, the goshuin tour ended at Susaki Shrine. Return to Tateyama Station from the nearest bus stop. The number of buses is 1-2 per hour. Of course, you can use the “Thank You❤Chiba Free Pass”.

Arrived at Tateyama Station. Express buses bound for Shinjuku and Tokyo run once every 30 minutes. However, be careful as there is only one train per hour. Thank you for watching until the end. Please be sure to subscribe to the channel and give us a high rating!
