Good morning! This is E-Ma. This time we will start from inside the plane (*’▽’). The first day of our 3-night, 4-day trip to Okinawa has begun ヽ(^o^)丿. This is my 4th trip to Okinawa this year. I’m excited to see what kind of trip it will be this time (*’∀’).

Mt. Fuji looked beautiful (´ー`). Sounds good! Arrived at Naha Airport. It’s really nice to be able to meet the cat too ♡ I’ll be using Times Car Share again this time. The ferry terminal [Tomarin] came into view. Just walk through here. We have arrived at our first destination. [Tomari Iyumachi].

Fresh seafood caught that day is on sale. By the way, “Iyumachi” means “Iyu → Fish” and “machi → market” in the Okinawan dialect. Tuna fat roll 648 yen. Fish and squid tempura 120 yen each. The futomaki was quite voluminous and filled my stomach. The tuna was very delicious (*’▽’).

The temperature in Okinawa on this day was 27℃. Even though it’s December, it’s still summer (^_^;). The sun is still strong and it’s hot, but there’s a nice breeze. We arrived at [Nakagusuku Castle Ruins].

Admission fee: 400 yen for adults, 300 yen for middle and high school students, 200 yen for elementary school students. A cart will take you 500 meters from the entrance to the viewing zone. I’m happy because it’s uphill (*’▽’). It feels so good that I want to ride it forever (´ー`).

From here it’s a walk. Dragonflies welcome you here (*´ω`). Nakagusuku Castle Ruins was registered as a World Heritage Site in 2000 as one of the “Gusuku and related heritage sites of the Ryukyu Kingdom.” We will enter from the “main gate”. People from the Ryukyu Kingdom era also walked here.

Nakagusuku Castle Ruins has a beautiful curved wall. It is called Noza-zumi, Nuno-zumi, and Ai-zumi. The three types of stonework are the highlight. “Ichi no Kaku”. It is said that the Seiden, Makiri Guardsho, and the former Nakagusuku Village Office were located here. You can see the Pacific Ocean from here. Nice view (´ー`).

Below this is “Ni no Kaku”. If you look at “Ichi no Kaku” from above, you can see that the site is very large. When you pass through this splendid gate, you will arrive at the “Ninokaku”. You can also walk on the stone wall here. There are some narrow places, so I walk carefully.

It was a little scary because of the height (>_<). "Oido". As you go down the stairs, the air changes to a cool breeze. Apparently, one of the characteristics of this castle is that it has a supply of water within its walls. Commodore Perry, who once visited the island, also saw this stonework. ``The material of the fortress was limestone, and its masonry was admirable.'' In the record of his expedition to Japan, he praises the splendor of this stone wall. A silhouette that looks like it could appear in a movie. The site is so vast that it took about 1 hour and 15 minutes to look around. I entered the expressway from Kitanakagusuku IC. The hotel where we will stay for two nights is located in Motobu town, so we will go directly from there. I got off the expressway at the last stop, Kyoda IC. [Roadside Station Kyoda] will also be passed through. The sky began to turn red. I was able to see such a beautiful sunset from inside the car (´ー`). When I looked ahead, there was a rainbow in the sky (*'▽'). About 1 hour by car from Nakagusuku Castle Ruins. We finally arrived at the hotel. [Mr.KINJO in MOTOBU OCEAN TERRACE]. I used "Mr.KINJO" on my trip in June, although it was a different store. "Amenity". Room 304. Enter! When staying multiple nights in Okinawa, I try to choose a condominium type hotel. It's nice to have a two-door refrigerator (´ー`). Mr.KINJO does not have a washer/dryer. It comes with a dryer in the bathroom, which is helpful because you can dry your laundry overnight (´ー`). And the view from the balcony. Ocean view (*'▽') where you can see Ie Island Tatchu. Although the sun had already set, I was able to see a beautiful sunset (´ー`). Dinner is steak, which is a customary dish when traveling to Okinawa. [Steakman]. You buy a meal ticket at the entrance and then take a seat. Rice, salad, soup, and water are self-service. The steak is usually grilled rare. If you have a preference, please let us know when you hand over your meal ticket and they will accommodate you. Steakman Steak Lean 200g 1980 yen. I'm happy to be able to eat delicious meat (*´ω`). The first day is over... I don't think it looks good in the video. We could see many stars with the naked eye. I hope the weather is nice tomorrow too (´ー`). Next time is the first part of the 2nd day of our 3 nights and 4 days trip to Okinawa. I hope this video is of some help to you. Look forward to next time~(^_^)/~
