“Seeing an owl is always a gift. I went to a local city garden in Portland, Oregon, for a golden hour sunset shoot. A friend asked me for some pointers with her Canon Rebel in preparation for her upcoming trip to Madagascar. It was getting dark, and we wandered the long trail home. A Western Screech Owl peered out of a crevice in an old grandpa snag. It was getting dark. I pushed my ISO to 3200 and my shutter speed to 1/50th. I crossed my fingers and LOVED the shot!” #MyCanonStory
