I was walking up Highway 101, looking for a higher perspective of the road leading to the beach and sea stacks in the distance. I turned about halfway up and saw a window between the foliage of where we had parked and a perfect cliffside for a subject to stand at sunset. But if I hadn’t taken a walk to broaden my perspective and visualize a scene differently, I would never have seen this opportunity.
