These birds are incredible to watch hunt, their giant wings allow them to move relatively silent while pursuing prey. I love the details and patterns in their wings, especially when in flight like this beautiful bird here. I shot this photo handheld with the Canon EOS R3 and the RF600mm F4 L IS USM lens, a perfect combination for birds and wildlife that are difficult to approach.”
