Take a look inside #CanonExplorerOfLight @susanstriplingphotography’s gear bag!
“While I know we all love a beautifully styled flat-lay photo, I wanted to share an image that shows what my gear bag REALLY looks like on a daily basis! I’m deep in the midst of wedding season now, and an organized mess is how every week looks like over here!
In my Think Tank rolling bag I have my main kit of gear. This includes: two Canon EOS R5 camera bodies with hand straps and battery packs, two Canon EOS R camera bodies, two Canon Speedlites, and the following lenses: EF 200mm f/2.8L II USM, EF 135mm f/2L USM, RF24-105mm F4 L IS USM, RF85mm F1.2 L USM, RF100mm F2.8 L MACRO IS USM, RF35mm F1.8 Macro IS STM, and RF50mm F1.2 L USM. I also have grids and a diffuser for my flashes, extra batteries, and even more extra batteries!
Next to my bag I have my trusty camera straps. I don’t go anywhere without them!
In the red backpack, or what we affectionately call ‘the light bag’ is the rest of my lighting equipment. This includes four additional Speedlites for dance floor lighting, a Stella Pro 10000 video light, triggers and receivers for my flashes, and battery packs/batteries for all the lights.
My kit is exactly what I need to document anything that arises on a wedding day while still traveling light…well, as light as is possible for a wedding photographer!”
Ciao, Nihon.
