“Final Preparations.
This is still an all-time favorite image of mine from a real wedding day. This was taken moments before our bride walked down the aisle. We were in a very dark church and I wanted to tell her to walk slowly down the aisle to ensure I got the shots I needed. As I walked into the bridal prep room, I saw her and her sister getting ready and the scene was too beautiful not to capture. I had less than 1 minute and had to move fast. I moved the girls around a little to get solid composition, grabbed my flash and used it to fill the shadow side of the image pushing some light on the bride and her sister.
I hope you agree, the final image is both impactful and beautiful.”
