“It had been foggy for so long that when I woke up for the sunrise, I was sure it would be another hazy morning. I got myself out of bed and started my day positively, thinking that maybe today would be the day my Canon camera could capture some color other than fog. It ended up being a clear crisp morning in Santa Barbara…I was beside myself. I captured this photo of the water and only realized after I downloaded my images, that the crashing wave looked like a heart.
