Photo by #CanonExplorerOfLight @michelecelentanophotographer “Family portraits are what I photograph the most. It’s not often I get to create something a bit more moody and on the fashion side of photography. I found the earrings and thought the colors and texture of them were really interesting. As they say in beauty photography “the hero” of the shot. I wanted everything else in the image to be almost monochromatic and styled everything else around the earrings. I used just enough wind from the fan to move her back a little bit so that the earring would shine through. One light over head to carve out her cheek bones was all I used to light her. Sometime simple with one attention drawing element can set the tone of an image.”
