“None of us thought she was going to make it. Even my mother was preparing to say goodbye. As fate would have it, a week later, my grandmother walked out of the hospital. I visited her that following weekend, and brought my camera with intentions to take a few pictures of the nearby shoreline. That day, I wound up capturing one of the most beautiful images in the world, everlasting love. My grandparents have been together since they were 14.
